Beautifully renovated hotel in the old town, right opposite a major museum in Plaza Zabala and near others as well as the Burquebus port. Staff are extremely helpful. The area is very safe in the day time. At night take a taxi.

We stayed at this hotel several times for business, and we will come back. Very good located, great service and staff, and super comfortable rooms and beds.

perfect place to getaway best mattresses, spotless clean, crisp white sheets and reverse cycle air con. nice and quiet with free breakfast and in a great location in the old city. no one staying when I was there so not social but it was a nice break from the grubby dorms rooms.

This hotel is in a great location as the Old Town is very close. Lot of shops and restaurants and historic sights nearby. It’s easy to find bike rental places nearby and to ride down the boardwalk to Carretas and Positos. Would recommend staying here. Breakfast is good, the room was spacious. No complaints.

I'd give the Radisson 4 1/2 stars. In Montevideo it is probably one of the very best you have to choose from, especially the location. The old town area, just across from the Placa Liberdade is the main attraction of the city and the Radisson is right there on the Placa. We found a great price on agoda.com, so decided to treat ourselves to this hotel for our last night in Montevideo. The location isn't very central, but it is close to the beach. The rooms and hotel were modern, had wifi and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner made some noise, but it didn't bother us. Our room didn't have a very good view, but maybe rooms...

A friend recommended the Palladium. I gave it 5 stars simply because it is. If I do return to Montevideo, this will be the place.

The hotel is located in a good best place for tourism in Montevideo. It is close to the main spots: Teatro Solis, Plaza Independencia, Ciudad Vieja and a 10 minutes walk from Mercado de Puerto. First paying customer ever in this hostel. And i had a pleasant stay here with good tips about the city and a big nice room.

The hotel is under renovation. Noisy during the day. Wifi didn't work. Stuff can't speak English. But tried hard to help us.

My stay at the 27 suites was amazing. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. The room and amenities was great - bed was comfortable, shower very clean and modern. The location is very close to the Ramblas and the the Castillo which is great. This could be called a boutique hotel. If I had a few more days, I would've stayed there longer.

I was very impressed with the energetic, friendly greeting by the hotell staff. It was cold and rainy outside while I was in Punta del Este and this hotel helped makie it very bearable. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Punta.

I enjoyed the hotel tremendously,particularly sitting outside at night eating dinner .The gardens are wonderful and i ended the charm of the hotel.The room i had in the tower was a little small but overall i had a wonderful time and love Uruguay,going North from Punte Del Este to Jose Ignacio was worth the day trip and seeing al the great homes

A beautiful new hotel with excellent facilities but a bit far out of town. Taxis need which are not cheap in Uruguay. Breakfast marginally better than the usual terrible of Sth Am.

Comfortable, clean, accommodating & kind staff, hot shower, real breakfast & strong wifi. I’m a solo backpacker traveling off season so it was quiet here, but same as everywhere else in Colonia. Would recommend. One suggestion: handsoap in the mixed dorm bathroom please!

Posada del Angel lives up to its name- there are angels everywhere! The building is old, and the guest house designer has remained true to this, maintaining originality where possible. It is truly glorious

this hotel is a little out of town (around a 15 minute but pleasant walk) that said there is no noise and the staff are very nice, the room was large and set at the back of the couples house that run it.

Nice and not expensive hotel, but wood floor is too noisy and easily to wake up when people walking fast
