Cours Chabrol The staffs at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Excellent property and very convenient place. We really had a great time at Sea Facing room. The rooms were clean, very comfortable; they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Pondicherry experience Sea view.

We stayed here for 2 days and was very happy with the staff, breakfast, room cleanliness. I would prefer this place if your a traveller that likes to spend more time exploring outside the room. There are a lot of places that you could go by a walk. If you wanna spend more time in the room book the sea facing rooms.

Best fit for a girls trip ”
The hotel location is so good, you can really enjoy the sea plus all the great cafes and architecture without worrying about safety or timings. The staff is so helpful and kind. They play a huge role in making you feel safe and relaxed during your stay. Best part is there are women staff as well. Really loved our stay at this place.

Beach facing; best value for money”
Hotel is right on Rocky beach; it is sea-facing. To get sea facing room, book in advance. Hotel is busy so better to book in advance. Buffet breakfast is good and value for money. Not recommended for very long stay as hotel is only good if you wish to enjoy nice see breeze and take a walk in evening from 6 - 10 PM on Rocky beach (road gets closed by police and only walkers allowed), which is a mini Marine Drive (Mumbai) in a sense. This is not a luxury resort, just a practical beach with good amenities. WiFi had excellent speed and bathroom was big, nice and clean and A/C was very good and chill. So full value for money.

Seaside with good food ”
If you are not a swimmer, but just an emotional onlooker of the sea and its ambience, go to Cours Chabrol, take a couple of beer bottles from the very next cafe shop, have them with sea view. Fantastic! Wake up next morning to go to the rooftop, and have some fantastic breakfast served by the smiling staffs at Cours Chabrol. And the remaining time of the day, you can do the same as the earlier day.

Best and Affordable”
We spent for 15 hours in this hotel. Hotel is clean and fresh. Very near to Pondy railway station walkable distance with less than 1 KM. Food facility is not available. However, we can order food through Zomoto.

Enjoyed every moment of my stay with my family ”
Visited in Feb 2022. We had a lovely sea view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and hot beverages were also good. The entire property was maintained well. I personally liked the traditional wood finish decor. Parking is made available at a short distance from the hotel. It was fine for us.

Special mention to the reception guy (with specs) who was extremely hopitable and nice and gave us complimentary breakfast.The location is spot on.Do book the sea side view one month before to get urself a nice room.I am surely coming again for the sea side view room.

We had a nice and Comfortable stay here for 2 nights. Location of the Hotel is very convenient and along the beach road. Staff is helpful and breakfast provided was Heavy and Tasty. The food except The breakfast, was not worth ordering. But there are many restaurants nearby this hotel.

Wisest choice. ”
At first look, the room seemed less spacious but their service, food (B/f), location and view from balcony made us go ga-ga over it. It was a four-day stay over there and was worth every penny. No wonder if we choose Chabrol again in our next visit. I would specifically recommend sea view rooms with balcony.

Bang On the Beach”
One of The best property to stay in Pondicherry if u want to see the beach from your room. Totally Worth it. Its like a home stay hotel dont expect very fancy designer rooms or washrooms. . consisting of 11 rooms. 4 sea view rest are normal with no view. The staff at reception Inba, Moushmi, Abdul ahmed were very warm and welcoming. The house keeping staff were also very helpful and did a great job. A very memorable stay. Stay over hear for the view and easy beach access. Everything is walkable from hotel.

Prime location, The free Breakfast was good. Well behaved management staff. Parking in -front of hotel is not allowed from 6pm to 10Am, as per govt rules.

Best hospitality and amazing location.”
The location is amazing, they are just on to the rock beach, and their Seaview room gives mind-blowing view for sunrise and whole evening. A great hospitality by the staff, on every request they will make sure to provide you services as soon as possible. Their menu for breakfast is limited but qty is unlimited and they will serve everything on table, the location for breakfast is also on rooftop with a nice view. Definitely recommending to my friends.

Nice view, good location”
Nice sea view if you book sea view rooms. Good location as it is located in the quieter south end of white town. Good varieties of food in breakfast and good quantity which kept us full for a day. Lunch food was also very good. Staffs are very polite. Adjacenct to sea and white town and good restaurants.

Cours Chabrol, is an excellent budget friendly hotel with super helpful staff. The hotel is located right on the promenade and near to the all point of interest. Staff is super co-operative and helps with smallest request in best possible manner. Try to get a sea facing room if available, It will be worth staying in.

Great property overlooking the beach”
This is a really good property for Pondicherry standards. And the location is perfect. Right next to the beach. So late night strolls are doable. The staff is amazing here. The only thing that needs improvement is the interiors. It is a bit old. Other than that, everything was nice.
