If you need a place to stay for the night”
I had a comfortable stay. My only problem is that their internet is below average and their staff is not quite focused on their customers. They should prioritize the one who is about to check in, not who's just doing an inquiry. Another thing is that they don't sell water or snacks. You have to go down the building to buy from a canteen which is not even open 24/7.
Clean. Value for money. ”
You get what you pay for. If youre in davao just looking for somewhere to stay while youre doing business or pleasure, this is a good place to stay. Just 5 minutes walk near mid-range restaurants. A few minutes drive/cab ride to malls and government/business offices.
New, clean, cheap hotel”
Breakfast quantity and quality is okay, for its price. Just that I can't get the more expensive plates. I can hear the traffic clearly. Disadvantage of having an open air corridor. There was no sabonera in the shower so it's difficult to reach for your soap.
great staff, housekeeping nonexistent”
nice location, there was no housekeeping - you have to ask for it, all of the hotel staff was amazing! friendly and efficient, ice giants resto below the inn is great! and i love the longganisa at the red bean caffe below the inn which acts like a partner for the inn for your breakfast - i'd say i'll stay here again when in davao
You will regret!”
We regret paying 2,500 pesos for a triple bed room because: 1. Our room had now windows (as most of their rooms in this hotel.) 2. The room is not well lighted. 3. Toilet and Bath is very small, and water isn't flowing very well in the lavatory. Shower floor is the same level with lavatory, meaning if you take a bath the water will spread throughout the toilet. 4. Elevator isn't 24hours. This hotel is located in the fourth floor, sharing one elevator to other occupants of the building. We went back to our room around 1am and we were told by the guard that the elevator is off and we have to use the stairs going up to 4th floor. Imagine this hassle when you are tired. If you are looking to book a hotel in this area(ecoland) look somewhere else. You will not get a good impression in this hotel.
The only place I stay when I visit Davao...DIRI NA”
I have given this hotel a perfect score, not because they are perfect but because they always seem to make me and my family feel welcomed when we stay there. I have stayed with Courtview many times over the past 4 years and I will continue to stay with them every time I visit Davao. Marco Polo is great for those of you who are middle aged and have a 6 figure income, but the rest of us working class people need a comfortable, affordable, and safe place to stay while we pasyal san pedro for kwekx2 og jog in peoples park, or palit sa gulay in Bankerohan. From me, my wife, and my son. The OCEAN PAMILYA says Miraming Salamat to Courtview, for making every stay a wonderful stay!
Very Basic... Insects”
There really needs to be a total cleaning and extermination of the facility. Loud. Loud air conditioner. Loud in walkway outside room. The breakfast was not really much of a breakfast. Even at the low cost, it needs to be clean. Staff was nice in restaurant.
Child-Friendly and Convenient ”
Check-in and Check-out was fast and hassle free. Jonnah of front desk and the rest of the staff were very warm and sincere. My husband and I really appreciated how they've responded to our needs as we are traveling with three very young kids. We left for Samal Island very early in the morning but we were still able to have our complimentary breakfast when we got back around 10AM. The red bean cafe understood our need to sterilize our baby's feeding bottles. Generally, our stay at the hotel was good. There are only twothingsthehotel might consider improving: the lighthing system and the pooling of water in the middle of the toilet in our room. We will still choose to stay in this hotel.
My Davao Stay”
It was quite good. We had free breakfasts every morning. The staff were attentive to our needs; they respond to inquiries. The location is good since it is accessible (and by that, I meant NOT THAT FAR) to many tourist destinations like Eden Nature Park, Crocodile Park and Jack's Ridge. There are charges though for early check-in and late check-out. The hotel's wifi does not work properly too. Additionally, it is far from the airport (roughly 30 mins travel time by taxi) so if you plan to stay here make sure to consider the travel time in your itinerary (you wouldn't want to miss your flight do you?). Other than that, the hotel is a good place to stay in during your visit in Davao. I would recommend this to budget travelers.
very accesible location... value for money”
This hotel is very reasonably priced and accesible by cab or local transportation (jeepneys). The staffs are very accomodating. Breakfast is ok. Since it is new, the rooms and beds are still veru clean. The only negative point is that the water takes a while to heat up... around 20 mins or so... but the water isny very cold anyway so its tolerable... Breakfast size is a bit small that u need to order (and pay) for extra. Over all, i like tjis hotel and will stay here again.
it was very adequate for a city hotel and city-stay kinda vacation ...
Neat and clean”
Large Room, Good accomodation”
Large room, new hotel, but just the bathroom is small. Still we experience a good stay in this hotel.
Staff are not accommodating as they should be. Room size was okay but the blinds/floor was dirty upon entering. Aircon was too loud too, you will find it difficult to sleep if you are a light sleeper.
The place is clean and new. The noise is terrible. Can hardly sleep because of the busy trucks honking even past midnight. Convenient when using public transport. They know the place. (ICE GIANTS) The shower head needs repair. The water splashes on the entire bathroom. NO floor mat though I have requested for it many times. Over all it's worth your money. Somewhere to stay in after a whole day fun filled of activities.
Depressingly dim lighting”
As the title says, the lights are so dim in the room that it is hard to see anything you do. The wifi was very slow, and it didn't work at all some afternoons. They only cleaned the room when you asked them to, and only during certain hours, so if you went out and came back later, well... too bad for you. The breakfast was very poor... not even juice unless you paid for it. On the other hand, the staff was very friendly.
nice place to roam around and for beaches”
I was before at this hotel. My booking was via Agoda. It was w breakfast. Breakfadt is on groundfloor at a restaurant. But I used just one time a breakfast. The breakfast that they serve is very minimum, one cup of rice with cornedbeef or sausages and fried egg and coffee. If u want brewed coffee its extra cost. The room is nice with good hot and cold shower. But no windows and there were bedbugs in the bedsheets or very tiny ants
Value for Money”
Overall it was okay, the room was clean however I find the sheets too thin and the drainage in the shower didn't work well. We have tried to ask for room transfer but they mentioned all have similar drainage problems.
