You expect decent cleanliness at this price range…NOT! I wouldn’t have minded the dirt on the carpet hallways, but when I found three very long dark strands of hair highly visible in my shower and then a different strand of hair again highly visible on the bathroom floor, it made me suspect of everything, although everything else appeared clean. Tyson, the host, was very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Our first room did not have a working TV but instead of making us wait for maintenance, he swapped our room, which was much better since we were on a schedule. The breakfast cook was super! Very friendly & helpful and made us both a great breakfast. I felt the price of $130 was high so I would shop it. Also, drug dealers in parking lot upon check in at 4 pm was a little sketchy. Pool was clean . One elevator, which was closest & most convenient, was out of service, so more walking than I care for. So, some good & some bad. If housekeeping was better, I would probably give it 5 stars. oh beds are very comfy! feel like a cloud puff!

Sonestas front desk staff are respectful and attentive and if you ever need to check in extra early just ask because they will if they can accommodate you. The rooms are clean and fresh and Ill stay here anytime!! Definitely five stars

I thought there was a hot tub as well as pool. There was no tub. Pool was cold for winter months. Had to stay out of it. No towels available poolside.

Great value for the money”
Last minute trip to Delaware to see a friend in the hospital and needed a place to stay. In my search, on another site, there were only two hotels with 8.2 out of 10 and the other had a price well above the price provided through Agoda so we went with this one and were very satisfied. The room was nothing special, but there were no complaints either. Clean, minutes from the hospital and staff was respectful. If I have to return to the hospital, I will certainly check Agoda to see if they have a good rate for Sonesta and I'd choose it again.

Looks better in pictures ”
When "greeted" upon our arrival about midnight, it was an inconvenience for the desk clerk to put down the folded towels and check me and 2 other parties who had been waiting in. Her explanation of the facility was non existent except to bluntly state the main elevator doesn't work and to just keep walking down the hall to another one. Breakfast is not offered/included. Sat a nice male desk clerk was able to offer my wife a non dairy creamer for her coffee. On Sunday a curt female desk clerk stated they have never offered it. The room was tired, the tub was rusty and the bed was never made up! I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Surprises”
There were a few surprises (unexpected) in my last stay: - The free breakfast WASN'T free - An elevator and the swimming pool were out of order - Although I specifically asked for double queen beds I received a room with one soft-mattress king. - The rest of the stay (room cleanliness, etc) was OK, but definitely beneath my expectations for what I paid.

Would have rated it higher, except for the staff”
This hotel was good (not great, but certainly fine). However, the woman working at the front desk when we wanted to check in was incredibly rude. Not sure if she was having a bad day, or what, but I actually considered leaving and finding another room in the middle of dealing with her... Everyone else was nice enough, but the first person left such a bad taste in my mouth that it didn't matter.

It was right next to Quality Inn, which I stayed at also and that was much cheaper. I would put 'Poor' in front of Quality Inn, and won't stay there ever again. Sonesta was so much better!

Stay Far Away”
I had to put one star.. But I give this place Zero stars..my first night was met with dirty sheets and a twenty minute walk looking for the only working elevator in the back of hotel..mid 1st night I had ants crawling on my night stand..next morning I requested clean sheets and spray for the ants..next night..new sheets had me itching half the night ..to finally wake up to ants biting me in the bed.. There were ants in the bed..hotel will not refund my first night. But agreed too the nights I booked but I didn't stay for.. Do yourself a big favor..look somewhere else...i was screwed at 2am looking for another place that night

Lacking amenities ”
The pool was closed, the elevator on my side of the building was closed and the cook was on vacation so no breakfast was available. My room smelled like it used to be a smoking room. There are plenty of other hotels in the area, if I had known the conditions of this one I would never have booked it.
