The best hotel in Yangon’s Downtown!”
I’ll surely recommend this wonderful guest house to everyone who wanna stay in Yangon’s downtown. • The room price was cheap compared to the outstanding service we received. • The location is near to Bokyoke market and central railway station. Other popular places are reachable by taxi and cost only 2-3K Kyats. • Room was clean. • Breakfast was incredible. • The staff are the best part! They helped us a lot with tourist attractions info and gave many suggestions. They even called to book a bus ticket to Kinpun base camp for us and helped reminding the time we were supposed to leave in the early morning due to traffic jam so we wouldn’t miss a bus. One staff even willingly made us a cup of milk tea by himself when we asked if they had one. • Our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. We felt very very welcome here and will definitely stay here again next time we visit Yangon. Thank you!

Cozy Guest House is locally run, so that was a box checked off for me! If you stay as a couple or group, it is one of the more affordable options downtown. Rooms are basic. No windows, some space for luggage, no cupboards, the usual wet floor bathroom affair, no hairdryers or kettles, but otherwise has everything we needed, including two 1.5L bottles of water! Wifi and aircon were good, toilet was clean. Breakfast is pretty basic as well, they give you one main dish, whether rice or noodles or toast, and you can have your pick of cookies, bananas and coffee/tea. Great value at this price nonetheless, and the service and location were excellent. On the weekends, a night market pops up just on the road outside and goes on for miles. Love it! We weren't able to check in early when we arrived at 6.30am from Inle Lake, but were told we could check in at 11am once they were done cleaning an early check-out. Worked for us!

Tereific stay at Cozy Inn”
I was warned that Yangon hotels would be shady but Cozy Inn didn't have that vibe at all. The staff were the best part of our stay - actually the room was real comfortable, too. The bathroom was clean and and equipped with hot water, the bed spacious, and there was seldom mosquitoes in the room.

Excellent”
The best part of the Cozy Guest House is the incredibly friendly and kind staff! They will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to be comfortable. They even provided us a place to shower hours after we checked out so we would feel refreshed on the long bus ride to Kalaw. Also, breathtaking views from their rooftop breakfast spot!

We had a great stay at the guesthouse. The place was in a great location, very handy for shops, food and transport links. The GH was extremely clean and the staff were amazing. The breakfast was included in the room rate and was delicious, served on the top floor of the building with beautiful views across the city. I would most definately recommend this place and would certainly stay there again should we return to Yangon.

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The staff really can't do enough for you and make you feel like you are staying in a five star hotel. We were catching the bus early to Bagan and they even sorted us out with a pack lunch! Location is very good - within walking distance to the night market and the Sule Pagoda and everything else you might need is on your doorstep. Better than what you can find for the same price”
If you are lucky you can get a room with a window and then the value is really great. Otherwise you are in a windowless room. It is relatively new and I think clean enough to meet anyone's standards at this price range. Plumbing in the bathroom is a little odd. Water from the sink flows right out onto the floor, then into the drain in the corner, but not before creating a large puddle where you stand. Consider what comes out of the sink when you brush your teeth... Breakfast is just eh but the view on the roof where you eat is lovely. Staff insists on standing up and opening the door every time you enter the lobby, which is and isn't for some guests I suppose. They'll also be sure to stare at you while you eat breakfast. Look, if you want a private room for $20, you can get one here without encountering hoards of cockroaches, nasty black stains on the walls, or anything else horrifying. The things mentioned above are just typical quirks you encounter when traveling on a budget in Asia. I'd stay again.

Budget accommodation with good location”
The guest house is in the heart of historical Rangoon, where it is near Chinatown, Sule Pagoda, and the colonial buildings in that area. Shwedagon Pagoda is a taxi ride away. The room was spartan, but has no windows. All in all, a good affordable place to stay the night before flying or taking a bus elsewhere.

Great little guest house”
Down a quiet street but only 5 minutes to 19th Street with its two bars and street drinking bars. 40 minutes walk to Shwedogon pagoda. Taxis are 2000 kip to localish areas (1mile ish) and we paid 25000 kip for 1 hour to Taukkyan war cemetery. The hotel is very clean with friendly staff. The view for breakfast is great and I even went up there to read my book later. Breakfast is a different dish every day with tea or coffee but no choice. Suited me because I like Asian food of fish noodle soup/pork noodles etc. You also got bananas and cookies. The bed was very comfy and new. The aircon worked fine. The hot shower was good. The WiFi was ok but a tad too slow for live tv. One drawback if you are unsteady on your feet is the 15 steep steps to the start of the lift (Not a problem for us) The second slight annoyance is they lock the outside door at 10pm. Just go to the cafe 20 meters away and they phone the owner to open the door which takes less than two minutes. All in all a little gem.

New hotel, with lovely roof top restaurant for breakfast. Staff very willing to help òut. Room a little cramped with no where to hang clothes. Thin walls may be problematic.

Nice base to explore Yangon”
Clean, nice room with window. Staff were helpful. The WiFi sometimes didn’t work so well but most of the time it was fine. The breakfast is traditional, noodle soup and fried rice not eggs.

Staffs are friendly”
Staffs are friendly, the room is quite big but no tv. Wifi often not working. They do not offer coffee. When i ask for hot water they said no. So when you are a coffee drinker like me, i think you have to look for another hotel.

Spartan but clean room.”
Staff as throughout Myanmar were very polite and very eager to please. Very limited English. This is a clean quiet barebones place, in an interesting part of town. In my case I had a bed, a ceiling lamp, air con, hot water. Not even a t.v. or a window. It was clean quiet and cheap which was exactly what I wanted.

Muy bien situado. Habitación limpia. Varios restaurantes en la misma calle. Buena conexión Wi-Fi en la habitación. Lo único malo es que mi habitación no tenía ventana pero tampoco la eché en falta. Mi última noche la paso en Yangon otra vez y volveré al mismo hotel.

미얀마 최악 아니, 일생 최악의 숙소”
양곤의 숙소가 가격대비 엉망이라지만, 비슷한 가격으로 여기보다 더 좋은 옵션은 많다. 무엇보다도 창문 있는 사진으로 속이기 보다는 방에 창문이 없다는 사실을 고지 했어야 한다. 환기가 안되어서 인지 방은 페인트 냄새와 꿉꿉한 오래된 창고 냄새로 날 괴롭혔는데, 그 냄새가 상상을 초월한다. 방은 이름과 다르게 창고에 침대만 가져다 놓은 느낌이다. 심지어 위치마저 아고다에 표기된 곳이 아니다.

다른곳에 비해서, 직원교육과 철저한 마인드가 이 관리인의 철학인거 같습니다. 싼 가격대, 조금 미흡한 감이 있는 방 컨디션이지만 저희는 스탭들로 인해서 매우 만족합니다. 굿굿!! 다시가면 여기 머무를 생각입니다.
