      I was not happy that every time I had to leave or come in had to ask someone to open the gate for me. A guest should be given keys with a remote control to open the gate by themselves.

      It is not a great place to stay, especially not according to the ratings for the establishment. Negatives - Parking only in the driveway thus you get stuck behind other people or have to park on the road. Linen was stained, bathrooms are tiny. The carpets in the rooms look dodgy, the entire establishment has the look of a bottom rate establishment. The breakfasts are nothing to speak about, except that staff had to be called from other rooms in the case of any requests. The gates into have to be opened by staff thus your freedom is a bit limited. Positives - the room was a fair size and free WIFI

      Pleasant staff, comfy bed, good bathroom

      Rather a run down looking part of East London and as is too often in SA, barbed wire and security fences were over the top! Breakfast mediocre.

      The room set up and the hospitality

      Apart from the confusion before checking in, the guest house is one of the best there is in East London in every way. They make you feel at home and relaxed.
