Excellent location within walking distance from Sapporo station, a mall, several convenience stores and Clock tower. The breakfast is highly worth it, serving a good variety of food and drinks, excellent desserts especially the tiramisu. The staff are also welcoming and hospitable the cleanliness is immecable, just the twin room was a bit small, no space for push ups or anything besides putting our luggages. Also the public bath was decent.

Stayed at Cross Hotel Sapporo for 4 nights. Our room and toilet was very clean and staff were able to communicate well in English. Even though the lounge food was limited, they were delicious and good enough as night time snacks. Loved how near the hotel was to JR sapporo station and bus-stops. It was also walking distance to some of Sapporo's landmarks. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cross Hotel Sapporo.

Standard rooms are on the small side, with no wardrobe, but quite comfortable. Individually controlled heating and decent cleanliness are added bonuses. Ofuro facilities are quite basic, and not expected from a hotel of this standard. They even expect you to bring your own towels with no replenishment at the bath. Note the number of shower cubicles are also a bit limited for the number of guests. Breakfast is decent with a selection of local and western food. They source and proudly display the local sources for some food stuff (eg, yoghurt, vegetables), but taste wise, could be better. Parking is mechanical, but never had to wait long for the car to be made available.

We stayed 2 nights in Cross hotel, Fri & Sat. The rate of Sat is $100 US more, kind of like Las Vegas. It's a nicely decorated, modern and new hotel, comfortable bed and comforter. AC works well too. The size of the room is decent, especially the bathroom, and the shower, it's bigger than most other hotels that we stayed in this trip to Hokkaido. But I would trade the designer, chic furnishings with pieces that have drawers to put away things. We quickly ran out of surface to put our stuff out. The hotel has an onsen on the top floor, which was a pleasant surprise, to us, this feature adds significant value to the hotel.

“Great Stay with Spacious Room and Excellent Location”
We had a lovely experience at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a semi double room to a superior queen room—the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was large enough for us to open our luggage fully, which is rare in many hotels in Japan. The onsen was a great feature and very relaxing, although it did get a bit crowded during our stay. The location is another highlight—just a 5-minute walk to Daimaru and Stellar Place, making shopping and dining super convenient. The only downside was the parking fee, which is JPY 1,500 per night. Still, overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely consider coming back!
