Remarkable experience in Manila”
I stayed for more than 30 days in Crossroads Hostel. The building is dated from 2012 and we can notice it, although its cleanliness is very well maintained by the staff. The Hostel is well-located close to supermarkets and public market where we can find fresh food. I really enjoyed my staying. The hostel staff and onwers provide a pleasant atmosphere. I stayed in the Yellow room. The bedroom was comfortable and without any noise. The laundry service is efficient and has good quality. I would like to commend the agility of the Hostel team to assist me on my needs. This team is able to provide you relevant information about the places to be visited in Manila. It is an affordable hostel and the services provided worth it. I would like to recommend it to all my friends and others who are planning to visit Manila.
Great value hostel”
Discovered Crossroads Hostel on Instagram as I was searching for a place to stay while the condo unit I was staying was being renovated. Entering the place, you would immediately sense that Crossroads was made for the weary travelers and backpackers, both local and foreign alike, who just wanted a good night's sleep on a clean, well-lit room. And Crossroads provided that, and much more. Rooms were clean, with each bunk bed having its own reading lamp. The rest rooms were a bit small for comfort though. Staff were nice and always ready to respond to any of concerns. Location was just a stone's throw away from EDSA and the MRT. Little details such as the piano, flags in the hallway and koi pond, gave some character. Each stay also had a complimentary breakfast; nothing too fancy. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Crossroads, a quaint little hostel that had its own character in the middle of the bustling metro.
Nice to know this hostel”
It was so good to stay this hostel. I stayed in blue mixed dormitory. Every bed have curtain so no one can see you easily. There is kitchen, but the stove was broken(?) anyway I couldn't use then. You can watch TV but there is only one so If someone is watching you have to wait a bit or watch together. You can play Chess, Crossword, Bingo and some more board game with friend who visit with you or foreigner. In my case, I played Chess with roomate; I lost = (. And the hostel run small shop, you can buy some snack drink and cigaret If you smoke ( But not allowed to smokr in the hostel ). Deposit is 1000P; prepare before you go. Owner was kind and their family too. I will stay here happily, when I visit Manila again. One small problem(?) was outlet in bathroom, It was too slow.... when I finished washing.. water was under my foot
Comfy stay with a touch of care”
A bright yellow painted gate welcomes guests to experience a cozy stay. The koi fish on the little pond near the dining area are just so adorable, feels like wanting to show off their vibrant nature. I love those bananas in the morning with the instant coffee. The whole place was so exceptionally clean like no insect at all. Furniture looks new even if they were servicing guests for almost four years. The centerpiece, I guess its the piano, though snubbed by us all the time-- pictures the hostel like entertainment hub for music lovers. Wall art and displays are simple but express gentle reminders and caring guides. Thank you to your toilets. I did not ever worry flushing and water on tap never run out. It's so clean that anyone can make it a reading hub. It was touching how your receptionist/houskeeping support staff asked how my stay was and brought out our Filipino culture. In Manila, there is a home like in old province. "Ate" cares for me to have breakfast.
its my 2nd time now to stay in this hostel .. I will always choose crossroads than any other hostel or hotel .. thanks guys for the good service .. home away from home ..
I had a great time during my stay here. I just booked my stay at agoda. The owner and staffs are very accomodating. The house is very clean, no mosquitoes, and no foul odor. Its like you are in your own house, very homey, and very safe. Thank you Crossroad..i will recommend you to the people davao.
The online booking is very convenient. Despite being a little bit small in size, the room is still good for a traveler's soul for its cleanliness and comfort of cozy good-smelled bed and air-con. The wifi is relatively fast comparing to that of the Philippines' normal internet speed. Shopping malls and transportation are available almost everywhere around the hostel that you may just walk for minutes. Most importantly, the helpfulness and friendliness of the hostel management will never disappoint you. The only thing I find not quite satisfying about the hostel is it's located in a flooded area if there is a big big rain coming down, but it's a good thing that the hostel itself never gets flooded. Well, the big rain is not coming down everyday anyway.
I loved my stay here. It feels like home coz staff is accomodating. The place is clean and the money i paid is really worth it. Will definitely book again here plus breakfast is free (coffee, bread and some fruits). It is also near to business center of ortigas and mandaluyong. 👍🏻
Such a nice place to stay in Manda, just like home.”
I was surprise! the lobby is sooo nice clean and neatly decorated. Theres even a koi pond and a fountain, makes you feel relax just like home. Facilities like wifi, water and you can even cook and you can use the fridge. Not so crowded as the max bed in one room is only 4. If I can suggest, a locker will add to the facility of the hostel. They even have laundry and I didnt know if you can iron your clothes especially for businessmen as it is located in the middle of the metro and near the Ortigas Business District and also in Shangrila Mall and Hotel, and if you are staying for the weekemd Greenfield District is just across where they have a weekend market. Also near the megamall and even to the police. The area feels safe and secure as it is a busy area but not noisy. There are convenient stores a few steps away and beside a cafeteria where you can have your breakfast, even lunch or your dinner. Transpo? very accessiblle, jeep, bus, train, taxi and even your uber and grab. For me this is perfect.
Accomodation with cultural immersion”
A typical Filipino Bungallow house is What crossroad is, from the design to the staff accomodation. The stay in it self is to experience a typical filipino house. the warmness of the staff are very Filipino.

1. The bed was not big, but surprisingly, 2 pillows and 1 cushion, together with towel and blanket, were provided for each bed! So caring and touching...gave you the hotel feeling! Never experienced the same in all previous hostels that I stayed. Very impressive! Curtains, lockers with locks, and hangers were provided too in my 6-bed room. Two 4-drawer plastic cabinets were even available (positioned next to two beds, seemed not on a fair use by all roomates then, rather strange. Better if the two cabinets were placed in a central place, or with drawers marked for each bed to ensure fair use. 2. Relatively good free breakfast with eggs and banana as well in addition to bread, cheese spread and coffee. Could be perfect if the kitchen was open too (guests were not allowed to enter, even just for washing a cup! Not to speak of storing cold drinks and food. What a pity and lack of convenience! 3. Staff seemed not professional enough. They did not know about the nearby attractions．
I stayed here from May 17-20, 2017. For the price I paid, I can say that I had a great stay in this hostel. The owner specially his staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Beds are comfy enough for me to have a goodnight sleep. Hot and cold shower are availabe. Towels were changed everyday which is nice. Water and coffee were offered for free. A refrigerator is also present for you to stock leftover food or cold drinks. Overall, its a great stay. I'll be back if there is still chance.
Overall a great experience”
I did enjoy my stay at Crossroads. The staff are so friendly, makes you feel just like home. They're so attentive and helpful. The thing that needs improvement is the shower drainage, the water flow was slow.
Cozy. Good price. Staff went beyond their service”
Cozy and very good price. Clean rooms and toilets. Wished they had private rooms. Staff accommodated me even if it's beyond the cut off time due to my late arrival in manila.
very accommodating staffs and clean rooms”
very satisfied... the next time i will be coming to manila, i will be staying in this hostel again
Good for a night or two”
Cheap, friendly and attentive staff, secure, kitchen use, new and clean toilet and shower facilities, comfortable bed in air-conditioned rooms. Very good value for money near the Shaw MRT station. Unfortunately, the neighborhood doesn't offer much if you're looking to walk around, unless you want to visit the nearby malls. Cleanliness - a bit strange, half our room was filled with luggage and just random things, as if my roommates had been staying there for weeks, if not months. So maybe ask about the Blue room if you're staying there for more than a night's sleep. All in all, good deal!
the best! ”
The experience is great, the place is very homey and clean, the staffs are accomodating, the place is secured. I will recommed this to my friends and relatives specially if we want to stroll around manila since we are from province. 😊
great place, great staff”
We stayed 4 nights and it was a great time. Helpfull staff, the owner gave us tips for the traveling and the hostel is really clean. The location is close to the MRT and with that its easy to go to the other areas. Overall a big thank you.
The hostel is really amazing! The facilities are good but the best part of my stay there is the interaction with their staff. Ate Elsa is very welcoming. Hope the owner will see this and gave recognition to their staff. Kudos!
Just really good”
First I thought that the reviews were exaggerated but no. This place is really new, clean, with lockers, Air-Co, really quiet (I needed so much sleep , which I had) and the staff is really nice and helpful. To visit around you need to use some transports (Tricycle to Makati could costs 60 pesos, or Jeepney for 7 pesos each). But rather sleep good there and travel a bit during the day... I recommend this place
