Best Hotel In Cebu City!”
We checked in on October 20 2018. That evening, lightening struck the power pole next to this hotel. All power was lost. The hotel staff worked very hard and fast to connect a generator and restore the power to the hotel. Although the common comforts such as air conditioning, WIFI, and cable TV were restored there wasn't enough power to operate their water pump to supply water to the rooms. The hotel staff quickly improvised by supplying water cooler sized bottles of water for the guests for bathing etc. The hotel owner refunded about 1/2 of our room fee for our inconvenience . The honesty of the owner is impeccable. The customer service of the staff is the best. Even after disaster struck, THIS hotel excelled in the highest quality of customer service possible. The Crown Port View Hotel is the ONLY hotel in Cebu City Philippines worth staying at. I highly recommend this hotel.

Look no farther! The Crown Port View Hotel is absolutely the very best value for your money any where in Cebu. This hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is fantastic. Since returning from visiting my home in the U.S.A., I can tell you the price is a tourists dream come true. The recently updated café is very nice. The free breakfast offered is very good. My compliments to the chef. Overall, there are no negative points to share. The Crown Port View Hotel is a class act. I highly recommend it.

Outstanding Customer Service ”
This hotel is a very reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Cebu City Philippines. The customer service is always great. However, during adverse conditions, the customer service provided by the employees of the Crown Port View Hotel is OUTSTANDING! During our most recent stay, the elevator was out of service and our room was on the sixth floor. The wonderful employees of this exceptional hotel went way above the call of duty. Every morning the exceptional employees of this hotel, we're so kind as to climb the stairs SIX FLOORS to deliver breakfast to our room. We didn't ask for room service, they volunteered. They always bend over backward to make us comfortable at their hotel. I can not praise the employees and the owner enough for their outstanding excellence in customer service. Only a fool will choose to stay anywhere else.

This hotel is the very best value for the money. Only an upity pretentious fool would spend more money to stay somewhere else. The staff here is second to none. All of them are dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. The free breakfast is a full meal not just a donut and coffee. The food is quite tasty. The rooms are always very clean and the bed is quite comfortable. The Crown Port View is very close to major shopping malls, and many historical landmarks. Low cost transportation is also available. This hotel is our "go to" hotel in Cebu.

Getting Your Money's Worth”
I chose this hotel bec. it fits my budget plus the fact that I need a parking lot. I'll be bringing my car to Bohol. I needed to check in a hotel that would be close to the port area for my early morning trip and that would give me free parking. I never thought how this 2star hotel would be beyond my expectation. I only needed a simple room but I got a very spacious 1. The aircon is comfortably cold and the sheets are clean and fresh. I just heard from their staff that it's a new hotel. The staff are friendly. They answered satisfactorily all my questions. And yes, I'm so particular of having a good breakfast---Crown Port View served a very delicious Filipino breakfast. I'm sure I'll come back to this hotel and refer it to my friends too. Thumbs up to Crown Port! Thank you for making me feel so at home..

My stay at Crown Port View Hotel was excellent! The staff were very friendly and accomodating. hotel is just mins away from SM City Cebu. You can stay at the hotel to catch the first ferry trip the following morning. (hotel is just across port area) i will highly recommend this hotel because you get more than what you pay for, the rooms are big and clean.

location is great next to robinsons mall and a few blocks to SM mall. taxis are highly accesible very near the cebu port. the rate is great for a huge room with 8 beds. the A/C is not that strong thou for a huge room. it was clean no complaints there. staff are really nice and speaks tagalog and english well. Elevator works fine and parking in front of the hotel.

The good thing about the hotel (apart from costs) is that a) they provide morning breakfast (so that's one meal of the day sorted; do note that it's mostly the traditional rice-egg-viand format though); b) it's readily close to a convenience store and a mall (7-Eleven and the new Robinson's Galleria Cebu is just walking distance); and c) the hotel staff are readily willing to assist you for any requests. Room TV channel remain slim pickings though. The ambiance is really a place where you sleep comfortably for the evening and leave your stuff securely for the rest of the day--while you're outside traversing the rest of the city (or other areas of Cebu, for that matter).

Excellent facilities and staff, not so excellent location”
The facilities and staff at the Crown Port are top-notch. Friendly, helpful. Excellent service. Also, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The location, however, is a bit off. It's an industrial area, so it doesn't seem safe at night. However, it is located between SM and Robinson's, so it's convenient in that regard. Also, the wifi barely worked in the room, but it worked well in the hallway.

Surprisingly nice, cheap and spacious hotel. A comfortable stay (Sinulog Week)with free wi-fi,breakfast and great value for money.The staffs were friendly, attentive,pleasant and helpful.The room were big and spacious all non smoking but they provide smoking area outside the hotel/ The location is near SM city and the Port Ferry Terminal for(Ormoc or Bohol). I am pleased with my stay would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff were friendly and the location close to the ports and shopping malls. However, you should take a cab or walk to the corner and wait for a jeepney instead of walking if you intend to go to the nearby mall (SM Cebu). The pathway to SM Cebu is not too safe for walking especially at night and there is not much shade in the morning. The place is in a port area with large trucks and a lot of workers hanging around nearby. Overall, it is a nice place to stay in for those who want quick access to the port areas and malls but not too much for those who would have activities where they would come back to the hotel late at night.

Just across Robinson's Galleria but it's hard waiting for a jeep going to SM but once you wait, it'll arrive. The staff are very helpful since we don't know our way around Cebu, we just wazed our way and they instructed us which jeepney to take since there are SO MANY... But over all it was a nice stay... Hot shower was present with amenities and of course, the breakfast was nice as well... Thank you to the helpful staff...

Good for transiting travelers”
We stayed at the Crown Port View Hotel while in transit to Ormoc. Our stay was three days. The crown Port hotel was a good base for some site seeing and shopping before we went to Ormoc. It is a short distance to Sm Mall, where one can dine and shop. When the New Robinsons mall opens, The Crown Point will be just across the street, making it ideal for those wanting to shop at the new mall. We did get a free breakfast from the hotel cafe. Check if the cafe is open for lunch or dinner; I did not see any other places to eat within immediate are, for those arriving late, or want options. The neighbor, where the hotel is located, is industrial. Some travelers might hesitate to walk in the area after dark. Now the value of this hotel and its location is proximity to the ferry boats. For, that it gets high marks. I certainly would stay here again, for value and location to ferry boats. I would not stay here if I wanted to be near restaurants and be able to have a nice view from my window.

Good hotel close to Pier 4”
It's a nice hotel if you need an over night place near Pier 4 to catch the Supercat fast craft ferry to Bohol or Ormoc. The hotel is clean and has a friendly staff but the location, besides being close to the port, is also its drawback. There are not stores or restaurants near by as its in an industrial park. Also one of the most notorious go go bars in Cebu is across the street. This might be good for some people but not so good if you have children. I'd recommend it only for people who want a hotel close to the port with an early morning schedule.
