Luxurious hotel at a very good location.”

The rooms and the beds are big. There is a good food court at the shopping centre under the hotel.

We were traveling with 2 older children on our holiday to Melbourne, Auckland and Sydney. In these 3 cities where we stayed at 3 different hotels, Crown Towers Hotel is the one we remember fondly. The children enjoyed the hotel so much that they were reluctant to leave. I actually had stayed in this hotel once (12 years ago), but the hotel does not feel old at all. We got a very good promotion rate where we could put 4 persons in one room. The 2 twin beds are big enough for 2 persons in 1 bed. Then there is the free wifi... There is no doubt that this is arguably the best hotel in Melbourne.

Stay in Melbourne's Best Hotel.”

Great Position, Beautiful View, Large Rooms, Very Clean and well maintained, massive indoor swimming pool, awesome gymnasium, wonderful staff (ask for Abdul), nothing is too much trouble, Even very child friendly!
Moderately expensive if you don't use Agoda, Foyer is very minimalist at the moment (work in progress?) Would love a twin room that has two king beds (Not really a con as I don't know of a hotel that does).

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and feel very luxurious in a modern contemporary way. In our Premier Twin room the bathroom was very spacious with great big soft bath mats. Very comfortable bed and pillows, The view was so amazing that everyone I show the photo's to all go "WOW"!!, We though that maybe because we got such a great price with Agoda.com we may somehow miss out on something. I was completely wrong. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived in the foyer. No mention is made of how much you pay or who you booked through. It was only, "your room is fully paid and we just need a credit card imprint for incidentals" Wow!! We will always stay at the Crown Towers when we stay in Melbourne.

Casino, food and women

Brilliant , enjoyed everything in Melbourne including all the options in the Crown casino. I would highly recommend the crown towers to everyone travelling to Melbourne. All the staff throughout the entire complex are very well trained and have a vast knowledge of all questions asked. I look forward to my next stay at the crown towers and hope it is sooner rather than later.

Romantic Getaway Weekend”

Lovely King sized bed, Quality Linen, Great bath for a six footer, amazing view, excellent service.
Very little not to like!

It is winter in Melbourne at the moment so being able to return to this amazing hotel after a day of shopping was such a luxury. The Crown Towers is warm and inviting as are the staff. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The blinds can be drawn closed to make the room seem like night in the middle of the day. We upgraded to Crystal Club again this visit and were given the Royal Treatment It really is worth the money given it covers Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, Canapes and Evening Drinks together with all day coffee, tea and nibbles. You must stay at the Crown Towers at least once, even though it can be a little more expensive than some other hotels in this case you get what you pay for.

This hotel is by far the best hotel”

Very romantic rooms

This hotel is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. My partner and I were at another hotel in Melbourne for a few nights then stayed at the Crown Towers for our last night which was my birthday to splurge and go all out. We arrived early and our vehicle and luggage were immediately taken care of. We wandered around the casino and had a couple drinks while we were waiting for our room to be ready, which didn't take too long after 2pm

Best affordable luxury hotel I 've stayed at in Oz”

Massive bathroom with TV in shower and restaurants and bars in the complex

Amazing luxury hotel at affordable price with everything you need in the complex: 5 stars restaurants, Casino, food-court, luxurious shops and free fast internet access. The complex is in the city centre across the river so one can just walk to anywhere or take a taxi. The beds were so comfortable and the linen so soft! The quality of Melbourne Crown is a lot better than Perth's (hotel and restaurant-wise. Restaurants are the same but don't have the same menus as in Perth. More exotic and nice food in Melbourne!).

In a word - Luxury”

Amenities. Staff. View from room.

From the second we arrived and we're greeted by the wonderful hotel staff and checked in, we knew our stay at Crown Towers was going to be special. Even though we were only on the fifth floor, the view of the Melbourne city skyline was spectacular and the inside our room was just as good the city looked. Couldn't fault the amenities in any way and the choices for dining couldn't be faulted. The best hotel experience ever.

A classy and elegant hotel.”

Nice and clean rooms, great customer service and close to entertainment.

The Premier Suite was an amazing room, it had large windows spanning across, classy lounge, amazing bathroom etc. The hotel itself has many entertainment facilities, retail stores and restaurants. I believe you can spend a whole day just walking around the Crown premises. I can safely say Crown Towers is the best hotel in Melbourne.

Great Suite, Helpful Staff, Fair Afternoon Tea”

Views, Suite Size, Location

We stayed in the Executive Suite for two nights following our wedding. We had booked a deluxe room for the first night and an executive for the following but the Crown kindly upgraded us the first night, I guess turning up with a bride in a wedding dress helps in this regard. The views from our 9th floor room, with the Yarra and Melbourne CBD in front of us, were stunning especially at night. All room facilities were, as one would expect from an executive suite, with a comfortable bed and clean spacious 3-piece bathroom suite. As part of our deal we were allowed to use the Crystal Club facilities; the complimentary Breakfast and Pre-dinner food and drinks provided offered a decent variety of options and sufficient portions. However I was disappointed by the Afternoon Tea offering of only two small plates of bite-sized cakes for all club members, I would have at least expected some small sandwiches and fruits for a Hotel of this standing. The swimming pool area was large and fortunately for us empty however there was some minor construction works being undertaken on the balcony of the gym/pool section, which meant we didn’t use this area. Minor faults with our Alarm clock and Coffee Machine were rectified following calls to room service who both prompt and polite. Both my wife both enjoyed our stay at the Crown Towers and the facilities and services provided were good although I would suggest slightly overpriced for what was being offered, especially in terms of the Crystal Club.

It was great to be back in Melbourne again. And we always love to stay in Crown Tower Hotel since the hotel is adjacent with the casino, cafes, shops. The walking distance to Flinder Station and downtown area is approximately 15 minutes. The view from my room was overlooking the the river. The staffs were friendly too. We would love to be stay in Crown Tower Hotel if we ever happen to be in town!

A grand stay”

I liked the room service. I'd been gone for maybe an hour and they'd already changed my room from day to night ready with slippers and chocolates out! I also liked that my name was on the phone screen

Our stay was amazing! Upon arrival Alicia was nothing but welcoming and kind - very professional. I was made aware of the pool and gym, which I was so keen to check out, but I'd left my gym gear at home! When I made it to my room, I was very impressed. I took photos of everything so I could show everyone when I got home. My boyfriend has a habit of looking for the bible whenever we are away. We are not religious, he just finds amusement in finding the bible everywhere we stay. But not at crown towers. We were a bit puzzled as to why there wasn't one. When inspecting the room a bit more closely, I found a small build up of dust on the top edge of the TV, a smudge on the wall behind the TV unit and small things like the decorative wall hooks for the mirrors weren't straight and a very small smudge on one of the bath robes. But for the price we got our room for, I didn't feel the need to bring it up with housekeeping/management. The mini bar was stocked up well. But with any establishment, quite expensive. We just bought our own 'mini bar goodies' from Coles nearby. The bathroom was beautifully presented and my partner found novelty in the phone beside the toilet. I was amazed by the TV in front of the bath and the generous size of the bathroom overall. We were nice and high on the fifteenth floor with a beautiful view of Southbank and Flinders Street Station. Check out was as simple as filling out a form and dropping it in a slot - no long queues at reception! If coming across this kind of money was easy, I'd definitely be back in a heartbeat! Overall, my stay was fantastic. I enjoyed every moment of it and will definitely be back in the future. Having an awesome site like Agoda made it possible for us all to stay at such a fine, prestigious establishment. It was so easy to organise and book. I would 10/10 recommend Agoda to anyone wishing to find accommodation anywhere.

Opulent, stylish & oh so enjoyable”

Room size, furnishings and overall comfort

This was our first Crown Towers stay however we've stayed at Promenade & Metropole many times. I think we've now been spoiled just a little too much by Crown Towers to go back! On arrival we upgraded our booking to a Premiere Suite on the 20th floor based on a floor plan shown to us by the lovely reception staff and were not disappointed!! Our AWESOME view was over the Aquarium, Southbank Promenade and the helipad, detracted from only slightly due to the panoramic floor to ceiling windows being somewhat grubby - almost the only chink in the perfection. From the glass enclosed, fully mirrored bathroom with huge rain head style shower, separate bath and twin vanities to the G.H. Mumm champagne in the mini bar, we certainly felt very pampered. Our huge separate bedroom with King Size bed also had a view to die for. We had invited a small group of friends back to our room after an afternoon event and although there was no music playing and it was just us talking, the manager did come knocking on our door at 9pm to tell us, very nicely, to quieten down please as there'd been a complaint. 9pm!?!? Anyhow, we complied and it didn't sour our experience at all. We hope to be back!

very well appointed rooms,
service was pretty slack for a 5 star hotel.

i am from melbourne and stayed for 2 nights at crown towers as a treat. It probably has the best rooms in mebourne. The service was pretty bad though, i saw many people carrying their luggage to their rooms, and the replenishing of supplies was terrible. i stayed in a premium executive suite, which was amazing. the views are the best in melbourne and the fittings and bed were fantastic. The crown hotel and casino would like you to believe it has a lot of class, however the casino is full of poorly dressed poker machine addicts and drunks. it is a great hotel if you want to enjoy yourself in your room, but the casino can be too much. 5 star rooms, 3 star service.

We had the deluxe suite for two nights for our wedding. The room had spectacular views of Melbourne city whilst the bedroom had views of the yarra river. The bathroom and shower was extremely spacious. The day spa facilities were of international five star excellence. What's great about staying at the Crown is the enormous selection of fine dining restaurants. great location & a lot to do around the area”

crown is one of the star properties of melbourne specifically for its location and also because it boast one of the top casinos in the world. the rooms were very elegant and clean and definitely give you the 5* feeling. parking is probably the toughest part of the hotel. theres the valet option which is excessively expensive; but also the option to park at the casino for free (which was what i did): around a 10 min walk from the hotel. overall great experience and will surely be back!
