it is nice hotel with good price. We went to Chicago for the show, it is a bout tax fee can arrive the exhibition center, so it is not bad. The hotel is nice, just a little simple.

Good price for the location”
Good price for the location. It's not in the city centre (not in the Loop or Magnificent Mile), but close enough - easily accessible via a short cab or train ride, or even a walk. Close to many eating places - it's near the outskirts of Greektown, so there are many Greek restaurants nearby. Also very close to a Dominick's and Walgreens pharmacies/supermarts. The Sears Tower is also within 10-15mins' walking distance. Room was quite well done. Nice lighting, and it was good to have an LCD screen (26" i think it was, for my Standard Room). The "sleep music / relaxation" CD was a nice touch and may be a hit with the spa-going crowd. Some further elaboration on the Cons, and the mitigating factors: No minibar, but in-room coffee maker was a nice touch. Also, while parking at the hotel itself is expensive, cheaper options can be found just across the street and well within walking distance.

Great location and adequately sized rooms”
The rooms were ready on time and we had easy check in.. Generally we had a pleasant stay as the area was close to downtown. There are available taxis usually on standby, but transportation in chicago has never really been a problem... The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good... Too bad they had the same menu the following day.. Was a little bit of a disappointment then... But overall the stay was pleasant

Very noisy place to stay - but location is okay.”
I've stayed in many other Crowne Plaza Hotels, but this one is definately the worst!! 1. The hotels noise proctetion to the outside as well as to the floor or other rooms is really bad. It's located at the side of the high way so we didn't sleep well all the time. One night there's been a kind of a fight in the room at the opposite side... was near to ring the reception, when we heart the security nocking at the other ones door already. 2. We book with breakfast buffet included. Horrible... for 9 days just American breakfast in which the scrambled egg was very fluid and the ham must have been cooked ours before serving. 3. The room facilities are not Crown Plaza standard at all. No bathrobe, no slippers, no comb and no nailfile. And that should be a 4 star hotel? --- NEVER.

Exceptional”
The hotel was two blocks from a trendy district with tons of restaurants. It was also a few short blocks from Union Station. It suited us perfectly. The room was comfortable and stylish and included a "kit" for relaxation: facial wash, lavender scent spray, etc. Despite the street fair raging below at the time, the room was quiet, which I appreciated. I would stay here again.

nice friendly employees, clean room and quiet room. The room size is ok. Lobby is fine with fully equipped business center. Free wireless is very convenient and a huge plus for people on business trip. Restaurant at the lobby is good. It is 12 minutes drive to downtown. free parking on the streets nearby the hotel. Greek restaurants nearby offer choice of food.

Nice place near union station”
The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean but the facilities were old. Right next to it there were cafe, food market, and greek restaurants. But the road nearby the hotel was under construction. It’s not a walking distance from the city center.

I traveled with my parents for the first time to Chicago and everyone at the hotel was amazing. ”
George was great getting us into the hotel and helping with parking. Then Jennifer was great getting me checked in as I went through a booking site and the confirmation numbers were a little off. And the housekeeping staff was so nice and helpful too.

Crowne plaza metro hotel”
The location is close to walgreens and a grocery store open 24 hours. We walked around and purchased some wine and cheese and went back to the room relaxed and watched tv. This hotel is located in Greek town and safe to walk around. Close to the Harpo studios and sears towers.

The hotel was well located within easy reach of public transport, all the sites seemed to be particularly easy to get to from the hotel. The room was really comfortable, modern and very relaxing. Staff were extremely helpful and a free 24hr business centre was located on site. A large supermarket with a starbucks and hot food counter was located just across the carpark and the pharmacy was also just a few minutes walk. The hotel seemed to attract a nice balance of people from around the globe as well as more people from other states. The hotel had a genuine buzz about it while I was there, which was nice - a wedding party seemed to be in town!

Our stay was a pleasure. The room and bedding were spotless. The pillows were comfortable which is hard to find in a hotel.There was a European flair in the lights and bathroom fixtures which was unique. The service was excellent.

There are plenty of eating places near by. We spent a lot of time at Marianos - a great eating place/supermarket on the opposite corner. Staff at hotel very helpful and great facilities.

Good hotel but horrible parking”
located just across the kennedy expressway, it is quite close to the downtown area and for that this hotel is bargain in their room rates. room size is decent and nearby has 2 supermarkets for groceries. near the greek town so good if you like greek food. however, deceiving in their parking policy. very expensive parking so would suggest that one just check out 1 or 2 blocks away for overnight parking. poor sound insulation in the rooms so not much privacy. but contemporary designed and great shower.

This hotel is outside the downtown area and you are forced to wak long distances or take expensive taxis to get to most things of interest. The restaurant is expensive. While it might be a good business traveler hotel, for tourists is is not appropriate. We stayed there because we could not find an open hotel any where near where we were visitng
