I keep coming back for more!!”
this is now the 4th time i have stayed at the (now) crowne plaza in da nang in the past year. for me, it has everything that i am looking for. great rooms, great pool and beach area, close to the golf courses, night club & spa on site...it's all right there!! thinking about heading to da nang for the western new year...guess where i'll be staying??
Beautiful hotel, friendly and welcoming staff, ”
We loved our stay at Silver Shores in Danang. The resort was imacculate, the gardens and hotel grounds are stunning and the pool was amazing, situated right in front of China Beach. We had a breathtaking view from our room. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday without the kids but also wished they could have been there to enjoy the fabulous children's lagoon pool and children's zone. The breakfast buffet was excellent but the room service menu and the lunch/dinner menu in the main restaurant (Ocean Waves?) was somewhat limited. The staff were extremly friendly and were trying very hard to practise their English as the hotel had just recently started encouraging English speaking visitors, as it was originally designed for Chinese clientele.
Another good stay”
Back in Danang again, and I chose to stay here at the Silver Shores again. I just love the area out back where the pool is, even got to swim up to the bar and order a drink (always love that feature in any resort). The only thing left to try now is the Roma Night Club...I'll have to try that on my next trip.
great view and big room”
Very clean ,quite, and relax . Very near airport, got casino, big privite beach , good sea view from our room.room service very nice .that Chinese restaurant got very delicious foods. Easy to go anywhere on danang
New and Huge”
i was traveling to danang for business meeting, my colleagues suggested me to try this hotel as it was brand new. the city view room is actually have nothing to see, because there is no development over this area. the room is very big and the bathtub is nicely designed. breakfast serves with chinese style as there are a lot of chinese tourists come here for the casino. if you like quiet place for holidays, this can be a good place to stay.
Beautiful hotel at the beach”
We really enjoyed our last private tour stop in Da Nang. It was our favorite out of all the beaches on our northern Vietnam itinerary. The more popular hotel such as Silver Shore had all the hurls off the beach. Our hotel had it's on private section of the long stretch of beach shore. This beach was the only beach that had decent waves that you could body surf. The only drawback to this hotel is that it caters mostly o Chinese people so most of the staff spoke Chinese. If you can only speak English good luck communicating w/ the restaurant staff if you want a particular item or have any questio s w/ the menu. When you do ask the very little English speaking staff, they are so rude to you. Luckily their chef was Australian and I was able to spot him out to ask him for things. Hotel an beach for this place is great but daily breakfast wasn't.
Good price and comfort but lacking in personality”
This hotel is enormous and is well located on the Da Nang beach. It is really set up for Chinese pacage tourists (food, facilities - casino) and if you are not one of the above you might feel a bit of an odd one out. Good price though and the facilities and food are good. Staff speak only basic english though and customer service could be better.
Great Hotel...Massive!!”
had a great stay at the silver shores. this place is massive, and it is a bit of exercise just walking from your room to the elevator and then wherever else you want to go...but it's kept beautifully. they are still finishing some work in the pool area, but about 90% of it is done and it really is spectacular. add to that the fact that it looks right out at the beach...and it just makes it that much more amazing. the room was huge, and the private balcony was not the typical "i can just squeeze myself and a can of coke on there"...it was big enough for 2 chaise lounges and plenty of standing room. best massage i have gotten since coming to asia...it is a must-do while you are there. and of course, i loved the casino...only one i know of in vietnam that has actual table games!! overall, fantastic stay, and will be staying there again real soon!
Hotel right next to the beautiful beach”
the location of hotel is great, right next to the beach with exclusive area, the hote are very well designed with imaging swiming pool. the room is quite big with nice balcony, idea for holiday. the food is quite normal but price is very high. the services need to be improved as well, i have booked the transportation with hotel from airport to hotel, they did not show up and the reason was recorded the wrong arriving time although all the information supplied included the flight number.
Huge and lovely room”
quite a nice place to stay if you are coming here in the summer, this hotel have their private beach, and 50% of the rooms are facing the sea, with a little bit more expensive. there is big casino attaching to the hotel, which is cater for foreigners only, it claimed to be biggest casino so far in vietnam. room is huge and with nice bath tub.
Lovely hotel and service so slow”
this is a good hotel and price is ok,I can not complain with this hotel and the only thing is just few staff then the checking and check out so slow
Nice hotel with large rooms and great pool”
The hotel is clean and the rooms are fantastic and comes with ree internet WIFI. The pool is great for families with young children. The breakfast has a good a spread of food but the quality can be improved. Very good quality hotel for that price point.
Best Resort”
Upon entering the impressive lobby, you are greeted by very friendly staffs. They also suggested that we take the top floor to enjoy the view. We originally wanted ground floor to be close to the pool, but took her advice (great advice). The lobby took me by surprise. I have been to many resorts, but this was not what I expected at all. The room was incredible. The view, breath-taking. The room was large and bright. It was so clean and fresh it made us felt right at home. We are considering coming back this summer.
Great hotel, very flash”
Hotel was great. The rooms are very flash. Western food selection not that good. Hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere. We spent most of our time in Hoi ann and if I was to go again I would probally stay in Hoi Ann.
Enormous hotel, brilliant facilities, spotless”
extended our stay because we loved the staff in this hotel. super friendly, eager to help at all times, childfriendly. beautiful beach. spectacular views. in concierge was especially helpful, cheerful, enthusiastic and very kind. food and beverage manager, was so accommodating and welcoming. helpful, attentive staff in the gym. pool attendants observant and exceptionally polite. a wonderful hotel in a heavenly part of the world, staffed by professional, efficient, courteous, kind, thoughtful and endlessly helpful people. we will definitely return!
Lovely hotel and great service”
my boyfriend and i really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! we love everything about it, especially the pool! it is also very convenient to walk out to the beach, which is just right outside of the swimming pool. clean rooms, frequent cleaning of the room, and service was great.
great hotel and plenty of service”
plenty of helpful staff who are keen to help and practise their english. hotel right on beach close to golf courses and hua hin. only problem was wi-fi. poor or non existant in rooms.
So nice, I stayed an extra night!!”
I was originally booked for a Friday and Saturday night stay. But, I decided that since I wanted to spend more time on Sunday enjoying the pool, beach, casino, restaurant, and night club, I would stay an extra night. It was well worth it. The rooms are great, the view fantastic, the grounds (about 90% complete) are beautiful, and it's proximity to my favorite 2 golf courses was perfect.
A 5-star quality hotel swamped by Chinese guests”
overall stay is satisfactory. the hotel staffs are friendly, helpful & efficient. rooms are clean, big, well plan/organize and comfortable. varieties of food & beverage is good. however, the only disappointment is the hotel is flooded with chinese guests that are loud & rude. these guests smoke & speak loudly in the lobby, do not queue for food and intercept other guests at the concierge and reception.
wonderful hotel”
overall we stayed 2 nights and had a woderful time at Sliver Shores. Close to Mable Mountain which we walked to about 15-20 minutes a hot walk but Ok. Our room was on level 7 with city views nice a quite. .You swim around the lenghts of the pools they seem to go for about 1 km. You could really get fit swimming around Silver Shores pools. We would stay there again without a second thought.
