Good ”
The Crowne Plaza Hotel has an excellent location right next to Dublin Airport and also very close to the City. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel when I was in Dublin for a match at Croke Park, and it was the perfect location as it was far enough away from the area to not have too many crowds but just a short bus ride away. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made my stay even better.

I was very pleased with everything about my stay in the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport - friendly, helpful staff on the desk; luxurious room with comfortable bed; free wi fi and lots of electrical outlets in the room; excellent breakfast and free airport shuttle bus with very kind and helpful driver.

Value for money”
Comparing to hotel in city center cost more than 100 UK pounds, this hotel provides a competitive price with min trade-off in comfort and location although it is away from city center by 30 mins bus. Staff are friendly, particularly for the shuttle bus driver. A minor unhappiness is possibly caused by communiaction problem btw the hotel and airport informationi desk. I arrived at information desk at 12:30 am and was informed that their last shuttle bus was 12:45. But when I hurried up to zone 14, there was no crown plaza shuttle bus. All in all, it values for money.

Exceptional”
Our stay at the Crown Plaza was a last minute decision as we hadn’t planned for our last night in Ireland. After a traiN trip and taxi ride, great dinner close by, watching the soccer match in the Club and a good night’s sleep we had an early shuttle to the airport. The services, cleanliness, comfort, convenience and friendly staff were exactly what we needed to transition for travel. Particular thanks to Elizabeth upon check in who accommodated our arrangements. Next time we will take advantage of the walking park across the street.

Great stay near the airport”
After 10 days of exhaustive sightseeing and staying at guest houses in city centers and towns, the last night before our different scheduled (and very early) flights home it made sense to be near the airport and to have the option of a free shuttle. Staying at the Crowne Plaza felt luxurious and indulgent. It's comfortable, spacious, clean, and offers all the amenities you can think of.

Very good hotel near airport”
It's was pleasure to stay here, almost all was near perfect. But there is always something you may count as a minus. And CP Dublin Northwood has it of course. It's outdated big TV set inside the buffet. Because I stayed here alone and only for 1 night, for me it was not a big problem, but if you travel as couple or as family you can't just sit and watch TV in your room, because it's visible only for person who stand (not sit in the chair) exactly in front of the TV screen. And it's Deluxe room! Except written above, my staying in this CP hotel was beautiful and good enough to recommend it to other travelers.

Excellent”
Excellent hotel with bus stop to the airport or Dublin City centre just a short walk from the hotel. Hotel provides free airport shuttle. We had club room with access to the club lounge, however, our keys never worked to get in the lounge to get hot and cold drinks. The club lounge had drinks and canapés 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Drinks were limited choice and canapés poor and only replenished with 2 options instead of 5 options . This standard hotel should have replenished all canapés options. There were a lot of people in the lounge

We had a great time at Crowne Plaza, we were there during St Patrick celebrations and they had a greatband playing in the bar downstairs. Breakfast was a buffet that was one of the best I have had

They think of everything and then some!”
We were delighted from the early check-in to check out. All the amenities on can wish for including USB ports, converter plug, ice bucket in the room and ice down the hall. The one thing I would suggest is that when travellers are using the airport shuttle they should be made aware it only does drop-off at Terminal 2. For most people that’s not a problem. If mobility-challenged it involves a lot of walking.

Unwelcoming, Unhappy & Uninterested ”
Nice hotel, very clean, adequate facilities, useful location and reasonable on the pocket. The big let down was some of the staff who gave the impression they couldn't be bothered and it was a chore for them to serve you. It was also evident that the hotel bar has local regulars who come in for a drink and they stare at you as though you've trespassed onto private property. My first thoughts were, what a morbid, depressing, miserable bunch this crowd are. It does not get much better when you leave the hotel. Everyone from the taxi driver, bus driver, publican, shop keeper etc. seems completely uninterested, unwelcoming and bordering on rude. They want your money, but not your presence. If you're thinking about visiting Dublin, have a look somewhere else first. If you have no choice, this hotel's not bad, just don't expect warmth, gratitude, service with a smile or any reasonable level of customer service. I o

Crowne Plaza overnight”
A valued quiet overnight close to the airport. Lovely outlook over the park and excellent room, standard of fittings and design. Eating in the restaurant was a bad experience. Wines offered by the glass were few, poorly chosen without any flair or skill, and the reds heavy on merlot and syrah of very ordinary quality. My glass of syrah/grenache tasted of cardboard, the bottle had been open too long. Very poor. The chilean sauvignon blanc was warmish, similarly dead in the glass. Mackerel 'tempura' with paste mayonnaise and green slime was damp and cold. You can't actually kill a ribeye steak, you can serve it luke warm though. And the acid green sauce stung the palate and I've no idea what it was. Potato chunks were nearly cold and soggy. The best element of the meal was the swede. A hotel of this class and aspiration cannot produce food of this dreadful quality and hold its head high. Summary: Good accommodation, nice staff. Dreadful all pervasive muzak which is such a killer of decent ambient design and frame of mind, and a shameful lack of pride and attention to anything approaching interesting, well cooked and presented food.

Good hotel pretentious restaurant”
This hotel full fills its brief well. Great access to the airport with comfortable rooms. The restaurant was OK but tried to be much more, unfortunately it doesn't make it. They try a little too hard and end up over complicating what should be simple clean flavours. The menu pricing is also tricky to the stage that it is almost deceptive. Breakfast in the same restaurant was very good.

Had no problems at the hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful and the airport shuttle is very convenient. I even asked the shuttle driver to drop me off at the car rental place and he was very willing to do so which saved me about an hour. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were quiet. All in all a good stay.

Quiet Location”
Generally very enjoyable. The park is next door. The city is a short ride away on bus. The airport is nearby. The hotel is good and clean, food available albeit only so so and not so convenient unless go to city for food. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
