We stayed in the Premium King Suite. The room was spacious, clean and the hotel itself in a great location. It had all the equipment in the kitchen including a dishwasher, fridge, microwave and toaster plus all utensils. Two TVs, and large bathroom. Only paid $112 for the night which was good considering it was by the beach. Only criticism was decor could have been slightly better, for example the doors looked bare. Otherwise would stay again.

The room was cleanly, but could use some renovations. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you want to save, it is decent for the price, but it is not a nice fancy resort. It is clean and close to different restaurants and the beach.

Need to let visitors know before booking there's an $120 deposit. Room had an old smell to it. Would be great to have windows that can actually open. Housekeeping was prompt each day to clean up.

All hotels require a fully refundable security deposit and this requirement is displayed on all travel sites. Next time please try one of our premium king suites that are fully renovated and modern. Decent budget hotel”
You're not going to find a hotel with these amenities at this price - it's right on the beach, has a kitchen, two different entries for the bathroom, two different sleeping areas, close to Publix and Walgreens, an acceptable pool area, and the price is considerably less than other hotels. That said, the small fridges freeze food on the top shelf, housekeeping doesn't wash the dishes properly, tvs and fridges are tiny even in the second best rooms, the fitness center is a bunch of old, broken machines and unsafe broken mirrors, there is an extra resort charge of $15/day you're not told about until you get there, there are no pay per view movie options, and one out of the four days the neighbors slammed doors and talked loudly until about 3:30am. On balance, if you're really on a budget, it's worth it. Fixing the fitness center at least would be a big plus.

We could not agree more with you that you cannot find a hotel with our location and our amenities for a better price on the beach and ocean on Miami Beach. We are not perfect but we have everything that a guest needs at a great price. And we are making improvements every day. This week and over the next few weeks and months we will be installing new wall units and larger flat panel TV's in every queen suite on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the hotel. We also just finished installing new bed in all queen suites. We will also be installing new headboards and new night stands in all queen suites before the end of the year. We also have plans to make some improvements to the fitness center before the end of the year. Lastly, it also is displayed on every travel website and on our hotel website that the resort fee is paid at time of check in and that it is $15 per night and that it is not included in the total on any travel website.
Rude staff”
Night time receptionist told us we owed $60 for an extra person when we were checking out. We said no, we reserved proper number of people. Same guy told my friend he was charging her $20 for a room key once she had already said she didn’t need one. Chair/umbrella tried to charge us non-guest rate 2 days in a row. Got the impression staff was trying to take advantage of tourists and skim unnecessary fees.

Thanks for your review. We do not ever charge any amount for extra room keys. We will also speak to the beachfront concession operator about the charge for our guests as our guests are supposed to receive a discount on the rental of beach chairs and umbrellas. Lastly, if there were more than 2 persons staying in your suite then it is appropriate for the front desk to charge you an extra guest fee as we have a double occupancy policy like most hotels.

We stayed in a renovated King room and I would say it was partially renovated. I would find it hard to believe that the pull out sofa was replaced. Paint was already chipping, vents were filthy. AC unit was very loud. It seemed that anything we scheduled through the hotel was at a different rate that what posted or quoted. I would NOT suggest booking anything through them even taxi.

We are sorry to hear about your experience during your stay and we are surprised by your comments. We will look into the issues you described and take immediate action to correct them if they exist. All of the pullout sleeper sofas in the living rooms of the suites have memory foam beds and we can replace any one of them in a few minutes with a brand new one if we are notified by a guest that it is not comfortable or to their liking. Also, all of the rates or fees posted on all travel sites, on our registration cards and on our hotel website is exactly what we charge guests at all times. Next time please let the front desk know that you are not happy with the suite and they can move you to another suites that meets or exceeds your expectations.

We booked a Queen room for one night. We got there an hour before the original check in time, and the room was not ready. They offered us an upgrade into a seaview room for 45$ and charged me again the 15$ resort fee I had previously paid in my reservation. I had to call agoda to get help in getting my money back. The room we got in the third floor was big and had beautiful seaviews, BUT it was very smelly! The windows were blocked nd couldn’t be open. Old carpet, old furniture, bad and strong smell. Couldn’t understand why they called it an upgrade. The whole hotel needs refurbishment. It is in front of nort beach and has direct access to it. There is also swimming pool and gym available. Parking is hard to find nearby, and cost a lot to park in the hotel. There are some restaurants nearby but the hotel is 20+ minutes driving far from south beach, that is where everything happens in Miami.

Check in time is at 4 pm and early check in is never guaranteed. We try our best to check in the guest early is the suite is clean and ready. The resort fee is always paid at check in at the hotel and not a time of booking. Next time try our fully renovated and modern premium king suites on the 4th floor with new furniture, larger TV's and larger king size beds for only a few dollars more... .

They show pictures or renovated rooms that they do not have Very old not clean rooms.... you have to pay $30 for valet parking each night or three blocks away public parking they wont tell you that until you are at the hotel. Don’t waist you money for the same price including the obligated valet parking price you will get a much better hotel

Good hotel weekend trip”
I stayed here for the weekend by myself. Clean room. Subway, Walgreens other restaurants near by walking distance. Attached to beach. Simple. Great place to stayed if you are in and out of FL just need a bed to rest. Staff was great no complaints. Just wear flip flops/ shower shoes for shower.

Pros: -next to the beach, close to a few restaurants, rooms have kitchen with dishes Cons: -very dated, sofa bed is super thin and you can feel the metal, very noisy that we could hear everyone around us and lots of little noises like fridge won't stop humming, bathroom kept making weird sound, staff is very indifferent.

Where can i start..from the parking charge 20 per night or the possibility of getting a ticket while loading your luggage which happened to me.. because the area infront of the hotel belongs to firefighters .. the rooms has the most filthy smell in the world i kid do not..the receptionist charged me 25 dollars for each night because I didn’t register my kids in agooda reservation.. the building is old and smelly... I I would be a homeless than to stay in a hotel that makes me feel robbed and un happy all the time.. I checked out a day earlier and stayed there for one day.. I really think Agoda shouldn’t deal with such beach motels..

Thanks for your review. We have a loading zone in front of the hotel which is safe and free for all guests. It does not belong to firefighters. We also have a valet attendant that can help any guest with their luggage and to help the guest take their luggage up to their suite. We do have fully renovated premium king suites on the 4th floor that have all new furniture, larger king size beds, larger flat TV's and granite counter tops. These suites are only a few dollars more. Many guests love them so please try one next time.

the hotel offers no service at all. employees made me and my family members felt not welcome. he had to took your luggage to the room, by ourselves. the man just put it in the chart, we did the rest of the job. when we left, they took the chart to the car and we had no help to put all the luggage on it. it was 6 bags and 2 guitars. they had no smiles on their faces, no good words, no good mornings. awful. our room was not cleaned while we were there.

Rude staff/run-down facility”
The front hostess was very rude. It seemed as if she was playing a game with us by keeping us waiting hours for our room saying it wasn't ready. Once we asked another gentleman he got us in quickly while she cracked jokes in the background stating "are you sure it's ready?" Sarcastically with a smile. Then we're told about the hidden fees as well at check in. The room had a small kitchen with a stove with only 1 working burner and no oven vent, so needless to say the room smelled of cooler food. There was a hole in the floor in the kitchen and entry, mold in the tub, TV that didn't work, and paper thin walls, and does that wouldn't close properly. Will never return or recommend.
