Got good last minute deal on a Superior Twin Room - Newly Renovated stay. The room I stayed in was very basic but for the price on a weekend during school holidays, very worth it. Location is good, near lots of food places like Century Street just across the road and all the restaurants in Pelangi down the road. 10 min walk to KSL mall. Lots of nice massage places within 5 to 10 minutes walk. 5 minutos by car to Southkey mall. Staff at front desk are friendly. Breakfast. Had no expectations but the food was actually delicious and the spread was very decent, with congee, nasi lemak, other Asian dishes, cereal, salad bar, small selection of cut fruits, orange cordial juice, coffee and Boh tea. Room is neat and clean. Finishing of the renovations, if recent, is not very good. Light from corridor leaked in all around the room door at night as door frame not logically done. Bathroom looks nice but the false ceiling had an strip cracked off along an entire wall in the shower. Bathroom design is nice and modern but fixtures are not heavy duty so can already see some signs of wearand tear. Drinking water, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, cotton buds provided. No bedroom slippers or safe. Bar fridge that wasn't cold. Didn't always get hot water. Wifi seemed strong and reliable. Free parking at your own risk along the small road in front of hotel, or at the hotel car park (entrance and exit at the bback). Multiple exits allowed, just validate your TNG card at reception. Car park is very narrow and ramps very steep, and challenging to manoeuvre for larger cars . Be careful about the perennial large puddles of water around some parking lots. They may have been pooled for some time and have algae or slime coating the floor surface or something, coz I almost slipped while trying to walk through one large puddle that was super slippery.

A lovely touch was when I casually mentioned that I liked green apples, even though they weren’t part of the breakfast buffet. Every morning, the staff went out of their way to prepare and serve them to my table. It was such a sweet and personalized gesture that made me feel genuinely cared for. The hotel offers good value for money – the food was tasty, the location convenient, and the price reasonable. However, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The bathroom floor seemed a bit dirty, and when using the floor water pump flush, a noticeable amount of dirt was washed out. Despite this, the room service team did an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness, with daily bed linen changes and full replenishments. One final note for management: the towels, though functional, felt worn and could benefit from being replaced with a fresh batch. Overall, the experience was positive, but addressing these minor issues would elevate the guest experience further.

My husband and I booked this hotel at the last minute when we decided to spend the weekend there. The hotel has very good reviews and we decided to give it a try. Booked the renovated room for just a few dollars more compared to a non renovated room. We were so surprised to find the room so spacious and clean. Bed was quite big and not too soft - which suits our preference. Toilet was really spacious and a very good size too. Liked that the water from the shower will not overflow to the rest of the toilet, which tends to make the whole area wet. Location is very good.. just 2 mins walk from KSL and many eateries in the area. Will definitely come back again in future!

I recently stayed at a large and spacious hotel, opting for one of the newly renovated rooms. While the size and layout of the hotel were impressive, my experience was marred by several cleanliness issues. Upon check-in, I noticed that the office chair in my room was dusty, with visible hairs and a black hairband left behind. Unfortunately, the floors were not thoroughly vacuumed, and I found more dust and hair scattered around. The bathroom was no exception; when I used the bidet to flush, I could see hair and dust on the toilet floor, which was quite off-putting. On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. The hotel offers free parking, but remember to validate your Touch 'n Go card at the front desk before heading to the parking area to avoid any issues. Breakfast was lackluster at best. The staff serving it seemed indifferent, lacking smiles or greetings. When I provided our room number, the staff member simply gestured for us to go in, without making eye contact, which felt quite dismissive. Additionally, walking through the hotel hallways gave me an eerie feeling, and the same unsettling vibe extended to the car park. Overall, while the hotel has potential with its spaciousness and friendly front desk staff, significant improvements in cleanliness and service are needed for a more pleasant stay.

Our stay was quite pleasant. The newly renovated rooms are more of a semi-makeover, so manage your expectations. The floors and toilet were generally clean, and the basic toiletries are provided. Unfortunately, the bedsheets in our room were filled with hairs from prior guests, and we informed the front desk. The staff are awesome, and immediately changed the sheets immediately. The bed was great, and we were super rested. The AC worked well too! If you don’t plan to spend the majority of your day in the hotel, this is a safe, convenient, and friendly location. Staff are responsive, and are likely used to feedback/complaints about hygiene so as long as you’re able to communicate your needs, they’ll likely remedy the problems. Hygiene concerns aside, we’ll only be back if the price is competitive.
