Great Location ”

It is situated near 2 subway stations and there are a few convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Staff are friendly and there is luggage storage service if you would like to leave you would like to walk around the neighbourhood longer.

Good location, but bed is too soft.”

Good location, near 3 stations. But bed is too soft to sleep. Tokyo was still hot in November, but air-con only provided hot wind. Never choice APA Hotel again.

Great little place”

The staff were all very nice and helpful! The bed was super comfortable and the amenities in the bathroom were great! The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Around the sink were hair brushes, hair ties, toothbrushes, toothpaste, body sponges, razors, and cotton swabs. The room could have had more space between the foot of the bed and the wall to store luggage.

Good value for money ”

It was the second time I stayed in this APA hotel in Tokyo. I had the same good experience. Although the room is small I haven't missed anything. House keeping has been doing a great job in leaving the bathroom super clean. The location is perfect for sightseeing and business. Metro station Kodemmacho (Hebiya line ) is just around the corner .

First, we loved that this hotel was 5 min away from the Bakurocho station so we made good use of our JR pass during our last couple of days in Japan. The area might get confusing at night (since all the streets look the same) so it might be useful to remember what station you got off at or get a data plan to find your way home. The hotel was also one train ride away from the Haneda airport using the Asakusa Express line. Outside the hotel there are many restaurants, and a local grocery store that sells really cheap and good sushi! The room, although small, was VERY clean. We were provided with robes to wear inside the room, 2 pairs of slippers to wear outside and inside. I loved how all the lights can be turned off from the bed! The hotel goes above and beyond to provide comfort to its customers. They provided everything we need and more! Our housekeeper even left origami cranes which made our stay extra special! I will definitely book APA hotel during our next stay in Tokyo!

Good location and very clean”

Room was indeed tiny like in a cruise ship tiny but I heard that was to be expected in JAPAN. However, the hotel was very clean and had excellent facilities so that made up for it. If you’re a family of four this will not work for you. Hotel is nearby convenient stores and so near the metro station kodemmacho. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Will recommend this hotel

Quiet Hotel”

This hotel is near the train station (Kodemmacho). The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood. Walking late at night is not a problem. There's a cafe near the hotel and restaurants as well. The rooms are tiny, but clean. No views from the hotel room. They have self-service laundry, which I like. They also have a microwave and ice dispensers at the second floor. Check-out was a breeze.

I booked a single non smoking room with a as I was on a solo trip to Tokyo. Room was small but clean and good enough for one person. Lobby and restaurant staff were friendly and able to communicate in English. Breakfast buffet has limited choice but at a walk in price of 1200yen (1000yen if you included it in your room reservation), was quite worth it. About 5 minutes walk to a JR station nearby. Overall had a great experience in Tokyo and at APA hotel.

Clean and convenient”

This is just located 5-8 min walking distance away from H-14 metro station (using Exit No.1 of the station). Room is clean, with all the facilities you need. As a policy, if you choose not to change your bed sheet on the second day, then they will serve you a bottle of water. And also do remember, their check in time is 3pm. I went their about 1:50 strictly, and they will charge me 1,000 JPY if I check in earlier. Breakfast could be improved, but there might be not so many customers I think. After all, this hotel is value for money. I recommend others to stay here if you want to live much nearer the center Tokyo.

Strategically located”

It was our honeymoon trip and this hotel is located exactly to where we wanted to go. Very helpful staffs. Room is small but cosy enough. It's convenient for trains. We both love this place and definitely will come back again.

small room but that was ok. a few minute walk to the station. Only bad thing was the air-con. it only had hot setting and we were not told that. it was set a 22 and we could not sleep, trying to dtop the temp down. was told when we asked staff to change the temperature.

Great hotel in a quiet location”

This hotel is in quiet neighbourhood but an absolutely convenient location - just 5 minutes walk from the Kodenmacho station and 1 block away from cafes, convenient stores, supermarkets & cafes. A great choice if you want to get away from the bright lights and busy traffic of popular shopping dostricts in Tokyo. Like all things in Tokyo, the room is small - just enough to lay out one luggage. However, all the basic ammenities of a standard room is cleverly and compactly laid out in the room.

I stayed 20 nights at this hotel on a business trip. Location is good, near to train station with many restaurants and supermarkets around. Walking to Skytree or Akihabara just takes about 15 minutes. Room is very small but quite clean. Breakfast comes with hotel booking is the same everyday. It will be great if there is at least 2 choices for breakfast. Staff were very friendly when I asked for help. But a bit noisy at the cleaning hours.

The hotel is clean and tidy, laundry machine and tumble dryer are available (washing ¥300 and drying ¥100 per 30 minutes), Staff was always friendly, housekeeping did a good job in cleaning. The hotel is situated very convenient and at close walking distance of 3 metro train stations and several bus stops. (Bakuroyokoyama 5 minutes, nihombashi 10 minutes, kodemmacho 4 mins, other train station within 15 minutes, bus stops 5 minutes) We are active walkers so if you are also you can walk to tokyo station in about 20-30 minutes, we walked to ueno, it's about max 30 minutes walking. The area around the hotel is clean, safe, quiet and has several good places to eat and drink, also there is a lot of fashion wholesale around (09:00-17:00) so great to look, and some do also sell retail. Overal I recommend the hotel and area.

The room is very hot. My family cannot sleep on a room in hotel”

We checked in on 3rd week of April. The hotel set up all room to heater. If guest want to a good temperature room, The hotel suggest to open windows or setup in Air conditioner. My family tried to open the windows and adjusted the air conditioner but the room is high. We try to communicate with staff and we got the Mobile air conditioner and didn't work. We try to change room at night but staff did not allow to change room. So my family cannot sleep that night. But in the morning I try to communicate with staff and allow us to change the room. That room have the good temperature. Thank you. Remarks: The room have the bad temperature. we found soot side air condition.

5 minutes to subway, business district, clean compact room. Bed comfortable. Front desk happy to give subway destination printouts. Close to Tokyo station, main hub for JR train. Cons: no drinking water in room, as advertised. Pillows very old and uncomfortable.
