great place to stay in Tokyo”

the place is not far from Subway station. the room is clean, the staff is helpful. she tried to help me find vehicle to airport transfer. breakfast is delicious with variety of food. I will stay here again next time I go to Tokyo.

It was great place to stay quietly in Tokyo and not too far from any tour place like Shibuya or Shinjuku

Won't stay again....”

Although room is small as expected for Tokyo, the air-conditioning didn't work and have to change room for the second night. Hotel generally looks tired and staff speaks very limited English but trying to help.

Friendly Staffs”

This hotel is good for business travellers who needs to walk to surrounded commercial building. There are several restaurants nearby that are good for dinner. Nearby, there is a natural park which is good for traveller for relaxing walk. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The only setback is the same foods everyday for morning breakfast and encountered smelly milk once.

The quality was the same level as the price”

theres not much stores around the hotel and the metro stations are both 5 minutes away. The wifi is free but the signal in my room was not stable. The station was not on the main line so traveling would require some time. Otherwise, this hotel has a good price and is comfortable.

Everything great”

One of the most important things for us is the cleanliness, and this place does good job, the staff was always kind and tried to solve our inquires all the time, breakfast was good, room space was is fine and pretty near Sumiyoshi and Nissi Ojima stations as well a couple of pretty parks and most important to 3 stations to Tokyo Skytree buildings- shopping mall. In other words, we will return to APA Hotel Tokyo Ojima.

Nice hotel close to metro”

Nice hotel, friendly staff and close to a metro station. It was only 2 stops to the Tokyo Sky Tree and 1 time change to Tokyo central station. The area was nice and quiet, close to a river and with facilities around such as multiple convenience stores and a really good and fresh sushi-take-away! The rooms were a bit larger than standard Japanese hotel rooms and the beds definitely softer.

nice and cheap, slightly out of the way”

It was advertised as being in Akihabara but is actually about a 30 minute train ride from Akihabara station. Our room was small but very nice. The water temperature in the shower was super unresponsive and hard to control, but otherwise everything was great, especially considering the price.

The hotel for those most of the time to be out of the hotel . The room has everything necessary for rest between visits to places in the city.The room is not big, stuffy. But comfortable bed.10 minutes to the subway.Staff speaking english good ,relatively in other places . There is an option for breakfast. Is different from what we are used to in Europe.There are a variety of options at breakfast: Japanese cuisine, Chinese cuisine and European cuisine (coffee, bread, butter, jam, milk, cornflakes) Disadvantage: No caption in english how to use the air conditioner in the room.And it is unclear what method to bring water bottles into the room.

Seriously consider to stay at a capsule hotel”

Whoever planning to stay at APA Ojima, please kindly consider to stay at a capsule hotel or somewhere else. This hotel is indeed the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Several reasons why I think this is the worst hotel 1) Room is absolutely not clean. There were 2 flies in the room which made it a sleepless night because of the flying sound 2) Television remote control doesn't work....you need to go near to the sensor and push the button several times to make it work. 3) Room is dark, gloomy and not clean making me wonder when were the last time for them to clean. 4) FIrst night they didn't even place the complimentary water. I realized it when they gave the first water bottle from the second day 5) Finally the breakfast....Go and buy onigiri at 7 eleven or family mart. The food variety, quality and taste just sucks. As I said, seriously consider to stay at a different hotel and avoid APA. There are good reasons why they are booked at the last moment when there are no other choice.

Too far away form the metro station ”

The weather was terrible during our stay in Tokyo, so the distance form metro to APA hotel suffer us a lot. In a raining day and heavy luggage , that made us feel painful and inconvenient. However, the stuff there is nice, with quick service.

Great 2 night stay from the busy city”

It was a great 2 night stay there away from the busy main regions of Tokyo. There is a also a park nearby where we could do some jogging. The room service was impeccable as we were left a bag of towels and refreshments on the doorside as we had the "Don't Disturb" sign put on our door the whole day.

Brilliant Hotel for the Value”

brilliant place to stay, hotel is quality. the room is spacious even for a single, and the table with table lamp ample to type on...the seating quality is poor though...the fridge fantastic, apa really have a good service going, and the daily yukata and amenities is great, the only con is the bed alarm is spoilt (the radio was great), and so there is literally an old school alarm clock there. the rest of the room is great for a business traveller just in for a seminar/deal, and you can hang all your suits, etc, and the internet cat5e cable is good enough. no bbc or cnn or cnbc,you have to pay for cable but that tends to be done by only the japanese locals or the losers who want to watch the adult channel and pay (by note or cash i believe) into some white box on each floor. that said, the hotel is a short walk from nishi ojima and sumiyoshi, and the streets have some decent food, so if you like me come back from work in otemachi/marunouchi, it is not too bad or far away, though i must say, east tokyo is the most deserted of all the places i've stayed in tokyo...great for people big on somehting quieter...feels like a more residential homely area of tokyo for sure...lots of poor old people (ageing population) around to be kind to i guess if you're into kindness...

Great service and amenities ”

Very accomodating staff. Room was a bit stuffy as there was no window or aircon, just heater. Other than that, no complaints. Hotel gave us a humidifier which helped a lot. Close to train station, around 500m . Thank you APA hotel.

Budget and location not bad, 5 mins walk from Metro”

this APA Ojima branch is budget and location not too bad, 5 mins walk from Metro, by metro it takes 20 mins you will reach Tokyo station, and without changing straight to Shinjuku. The surrounding is a bit quiet, not much eatery around. There is a large super market near B1 exit of the nearby Metro station, walking to hotel takes about 15 min. From a distance you can obvious SkyTree. On ground floor, there is a Hong Kong / Chinese style yamcha restaurant, which is part of the hotel.

Big room, and a partitioned bathroom great for a small group of 3-4”

This is a good room at a decent hotel. Located 5-6 mins walk from 2 stations. Was not too happy that I specifically mentioned and selected the room for 3 pax - but upon arrival it was stated only for 2 pax, and we had to top up. Other than that, decent hotel thats close to the station - although a bit of a distance to Shinjuku and Shibuya.

A nice place to stay”

The hotel is very clean and nice. The staffs are friendly and willing to help if you have any problems. Easy access to convenience store and also the train station.
