Very helpful staff - with one exception”
The staff were very professional and helpful. They helped with excursions and with getting our laundry done (even on a Sunday, when there is no regular service. Room service was efficient and the quality of the food was excellent. My one complaint! I needed to change $100 into peso on our last day. The rate was very poor. The young lady attending to me explained that if I exchanged $400 then I would get a much better rate, and she guaranteed that I could change any remaining peso back into dollar. A no brainer! However, when I tried to change money back later I was only then told that I could only change half of the original sum back. A relatively small point, but misinformation is always very annoying to me. This was a shame; however I do want to stress that the overall quality of service at the hotel is very good, and my wife and I would highly recommend it.

Stellar Hotel and Service”
I have stayed her for leisure for the past 2 Xmas. Even during the pandemic Xmas holiday of 2020, the hotel and staff were phenomenal. Luxurious, clean, staff prompt to help. Breakfast served in hotel room was delicious. Amazing prices. This city is very safe and this hotel is the best. I will definitely return.

Majestic Hotel in the middle of Reforma, close to everything. Super friendly staff, big and clean rooms, lots of facilities within the premises, it has everything you need when visiting Mexico City.

The hotel is right on the centre of the city.. there are plenty of food selection for breakfast. The pool & gym is a good place for relaxation after s long day of touring.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel in our visit to Mexico City. This hotel is very centrally located and is close to all the major attractions, public transportation and restaurants. The room was very nice and clean. The only flaw I can think of is that when you order room service, the server expects a tip and behaved as if it his birthright. I had to give a tip and not code to give a tip.

Very much in need of an update, from top to bottom”
Think atrium lay-out Hyatt ca. 1985. Bland furnishings with marble or granite surfaces, all of them hopelessly & indelibly stained. Pathetic. Not 4.5 or 5 stars, not even close. Furniture looks filthy. Pictures on wall about 20 degrees off vertical, again not a straight one of the bunch. Zero trash cans in sitting room or bath. Curtains don't open all the way, but closet won't stay closed: if you try to take anything out and put it on, the closet door and desk block you from bedroom and bath. Shower doesn't drain so expect standing water until housekeeping comes again. Shower stinks (smells bad) all the time. None of the staff managed to get any request quite right. Executive lounge is awful & poorly stocked anyway. Pool is lame & service in hotel bar and restaurants borderline surly. You might also want to scrutinize the cancellation policy. Any other name-brand hotel beats the value for money proposition. Location is very good, as is breakfast, but just don't. I wouldn't again.

Check in was not pleasant. Hotel is ok ”
I stayed at this Hotel in 2019 and it was really nice. As for the first day of 2022, there are other choices that are far nicer that have a lower rate. First room on the 4th floor was disgusting. Filthy. After 90 minutes we were moved to 1621. The room was acceptable, but all amenities of a 4.5 star hotel were not there. Aside from the aughful check in experience and lack of Robes, slippers, and other missing items from the room, everything was good. First impression are lasting impressions. Check in staff were far from pleasant. The other employees were great. Will I return to this hotel in the future? Probably Not!

I will not stay again. Rooms are dated and service is terrible. Location is great. The hotel never refunded my security deposit and I left my laptop charger in the room which was conveniently never found. Rip off.

This was our first time to Mexico City' you hare stores of crime but round this Hotel felt very safe. We found all the people very friendly.

Charged me twice for my room ”
A busy hotel in Mexico city, the room was good but I had to wait an eternity for elevators. Check was not particularly easy and upon my return to the UK I found they had charged me twice for my room... a situation I am attempting to resolve. The gym is very good.

Carmen at the spa was super nice. When we had hot water problems in the bathroom, they sent someone right away. When we complained of a smoky room, they changed our room to a different floor.
