Great choice”
For its price range this was the only hotel including breakfast. And.. Breakfast 10/10 was the best thing about the hotel. Delicious, rich. The hotel is old. Does not have anyting like new technology doors, lights etc. But rooms were clean if you didn’t lose anything and checked under the bed. Still 9/10. Staff: 10/10. We didn’t ask much but they were polite. Location: 8/10. Actually the location was good enough for us. The park including the baths,, heroes square, art museum and a nice castle were 5 minutes walking distance. Sureounded by embassies. Nice area. For the other tourist attractions you have to walk for 25 minutes or take the easiest subway ever which is 4 minutes distance. Subway ls just 20 steps underground and there’s a new one coming every 3 minutes. Overall: I’d go with 10/10 according to my priorities.

Benczur provides all that you need. ”
Benczur offers clean and comfortable rooms. Food menu changes from time to time, but always very tasty. The grounds are lovely, as are most buildings in the neighbourhood. Underground transport is just 2 or 3 blocks away. Staff is very considerate and helpful. The only possible negative might be that some of the older rooms were built closer together than would be done today.

Take a serious look at Hotel Benczur ”
You might think that the location of this hotel is too far from all the tourist sights when you look on a map . That couldn't be so far from the truth. The Nr. 1 metro is just 2 streets away. This Metro has fewer than than 15 or 16 steps to enter the platform. Carriages run every 2 minutes during the day and every 3 in off-hrs. The neighbourhood is filled with many trees and lovely old villas that have mostly been converted into embassies. It never took longer than 10 or 15 minutes to reach all destinations. Plus staff at Benzcur are so kind and helpful!

Good location and helpful staff”
I enjoyed my stay at the Benczur Hotel. The staff were helpful and I was allowed to put my bags in the room a bit early. The location is good near Heros square and the spa and a park. The room was clean and had a safe and small fridge - everything I needed. No issues at all and I would stay here again if visiting Budapest.

Good value, excellent location, clean with good facilities. Staff on Reception are helpful but - they could do with some lessons in smiling and friendliness!

Back to the future”
I choose the Economy room, which was. Contrary what I booked it did not have a garden view, but I did not have the time and energy to complain. The furniture was pretty run down and depressing in the room and was probably from the 70's or 80's, which did not give me a good vibe. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a bit dated but the price is corresponding. Very good breakfast. Location very close to the City park, a bit further from the river. Public transport nearby. Good value for money.

Good location ”
Good location to get to the Baths with in walking distance . This is great for transportation as well because of the metro station that is 5 mins walking distance. I believe there were more benefits at the hotel that I wasn’t made aware of like the breakfast and other facilities which I could have probably looked at myself but I didn’t have time to. Upon check in receptionist was amazing , wished could see his name but didn’t . He was very helpful thank you for that.

Accomodatin for family event”
I booked multiple rooms here for my family members coming to our wedding from abroad or the countryside. The staff (except one really nice older guy at the reception) was very unfriendly when I went to the hotel to check the rooms personally. But my family liked the rooms and had a pleasant stay in the hotel.

Budapest expensive so value for money was the best thing”
On arrival, reception guy was surly and acted as if we were inconveniencing him by staying at the hotel. Bit annoying when the advert says that all taxes are included and then they aren’t....when I emailed about this to the Manager, I got another surly, non-apologetic response. Hotel clean, old fashioned, not a bad location. Budapest is a lovely, vibrant city and well worth a visit.
