Subic Getaway at Best Western Plus”
The hotel is conveniently located, with dining and entertainment options close by. Just at the back of the hotel is Royal Duty Free if you need supplies or groceries. Hotel staff are friendly and courteous, although we've had to wait a while quite a few times when we tried calling the front desk. Breakfast is not bad, nothing really spectacular. I was with my wife and our 15-year old son, and the room they gave us was pretty small, not really suited for a party of three. Our biggest issue was the bathroom. The shower walls were glass, and although there were pull-down shades, you don't have to be a peeping tom to see through the gaps. Might be good for couples or honeymooners, but not quite appropriate for a family of 3. Also, water from the shower spills over to the lavatory area, and we had to request for extra foot towels just to keep the tiles reasonably dry. I've stayed in Best Western chains when I visited the US, as such I was expecting more for the price I paid.

The place is clean and staff are courteous. The room is big enough for us 4 adults. Breakfast was buffet although limited in choices it was still enough to satisfy ones hunger. Rooftop pool is nice amd you can see the bay area from the top. Sound proofing in each room is very good as you can not hear the band playing from the bay area.

There was only 1 chair on the balcony, beds were ok, staff was nice. But the shower would flood the floor of the bathroom.

really big red ants had to call them twice just to spray. we had a 1 year old kid. they couldnt transfer us they said everything was fully booked. Breakfast was not as good people had to wait for refills

We paid for New Years eve dinner for the whole family and the food is not good by 10am there is nothing to eat everyone was starving not just us. Awful service very very slow. It's a shame that the place was perfect I think they should train their staff and needed more staff. I will still stay in the hotel but wont eat here.

Hotel is good except for the pool ”
I like the hotel bec it's tidy & spacious but I'm disgusted w/ d pool, it was not clean & I got itchy after staying/swimming for a few mins. Acc to the lifeguard, they don't change the water ever, unless a baby poops in the pool. They only put chlorine & they just filter it. And it's so small for a hotel with plenty of rooms. And when we arrived, the front desk staff was busy chatting with another girl instead of attending to me bec I was checking in. We checked in late by an hour but according to that lady, our room was not yet ready so I complained. That's why they fixed it right away. That staff also told me that our free breakfast is just good for two instead of 3, so she really got into my nerves. Her bloopers were all over the place. So a supervisor approached me & was very apologetic so I was appeased. The room service was good but I resent the phone bill that was charged to me for calling Shakey's pizza just across the hotel for less than 5 mins, the charge was P200!!

Good food and location but VERY undermanned”
Good food, clean and spacious rooms. But the hotel is totally undermanned. There was only 1 housekeeping for the entire hotel at night time. It will take hours before your requested item gets to you, considering our stay was on a long weekend and hotel was in full capacity. Bec of lack of housekeeping personnel, we were able to check-in at 4PM already, very late.
