Great location and value for money! ”
This hotel has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay, including its great location, within easy walking distance of all the best loved Riverside attractions in Liverpool, from The Beatles Story & Tate Gallery to Museum of Liverpool, with the Cavern district,. a bit further afield & all the shopping and eateries in the centre of town. Make sure you ask for a dockside room unless you're into having a view of a highway with KFC & McDonald's on it! We also brought our cat along on this trip, our first stay at Campanile, whom they charged us £5.00 a night to bring, quite reasonable compared to other hotels. Last but certainly not least, is the hotel's friendly, efficient staff, always cheerful & helpful, a lot to be said for that, as the majority of hotels tend to be letdown by impersonal staff. Didn't mention the restaurant because we didn't use it on this trip...next time. Speaking of which, we've already re-booked Campanile Liverpool over the Christmas period! Big thanks!

We were looking for a room within walking distance to the city centre and free car parking. We got this and more at the Campanile. Our room was basic but was clean with a good shower and looked out over the river. We opted for breakfast and had a very good full English breakfast and the croissants were also delicious! After a full day out exploring we decided to have evening meals in the restaurant too and the chicken tikka marsala was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we return to Liverpool in the future we would certainly stay at the Campanile.

Great budget hotel ”
Stayed over for a night while visiting friends when arriving check in was easy was given a paper bag with teas and coffees then when entering the room you could tell it had been given a great clean and it had a stick on the door to confirm it had been cleaned. Great location as it’s near the docks and city centre. Friendly staff which makes a big difference and excellent price . Will be staying again would recommend asking for a room that gives you views of the docks.

Booked for an overnight stay in Liverpool. Room was supposed to be a double but we ended up with three single beds. Room was clean and everything worked. Tv, coffee/tea, hairdryer. Staff we saw were friendly and helpful and we were able to use the car part after we had checked out which was handy. All in all, for the price, it was fair enough.

I'm traveling and stopping in hotels all over the UK. For the £43 I paid I have never had a frendlier, cleaner, comfier hotel, the location is ideal and secure free parking. Well done Campi.

We have stayed at the Campanile a couple of times but never on the dockside, it really does make a change to the room. The room are basic, but clean and everything you need. The staff are nice and friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend to anyone .

Great place to stay - close to everything around the Docks ”
Staff were welcoming, room clean and good size for our overnight stay. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and good price. Would certainly stay again.

Covid 19 ”
While have to wait a week for a flight home we hired a car and round tripped England. Spending one night in Liverpool as most motels were empty and no longer offering food The motel was clean staff pleasant

Excellent location with great views over the dock. ”
Should have been a nice quiet stay, everything from the hotels side was excellent thank you. Only problem was that for one night, we had terrible guests staying next door to us. Banging doors till nearly 3 am, screaming and shouting to each other and leaning out of the window, shouting to their friends in another room and in their own room, while smoking (we could smell it through our own window, even though it was closed). We were about to call reception, when a member of their own group came and told them off. There’s not much that a hotel can do about ignorant guests, but if any refurbishment is ever planned, quieter closing doors and better soundproofing would be a great improvement.

Our reception team is happy to help 24h 7 days a week, all we ask our guests to do is dial 0 on their phone and let a member of staff know there is an issue. Smoking is strictly prohibited on our premises and guests who do not adhere to this rule are fined £150 or asked to leave as we do take this issue very seriously. Absolutely brilliant hotel staff very friendly which makes your stay much better tea coffee facilities plus a bottle of water in your room rooms made up everyday would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. Brilliant thank you.

The shining part of our stay were the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. This is a budget hotel with 5 star staff. We wanted something clean, comfortable and central to the Albert Dock. I am disabled and we are on a tight budget. It more than catered for our needs. I would stay here again.

Great as a base for exploring! ”
Check in and check out were nice and easy, the staff were friendly. The bar/restaurant area is small but nice. The room was basic but nice. Warm, comfortable, clean. Same with the bathroom. Bedsheets weren't brand new, shiny but they did what they needed to and the TV was perfectly functional as was the kettle. The staff were more than happy to provide us with more tea and milk for our room. Town is only a 15/20 minute walk away but if that's too far, Royal Albert's Dock is closer for shopping, restaurants and touristy things. And if that's still too far away and you need emergency stuff/junk food, Tesco express is near by and both KFC and McDonald's are directly opposite. Not somewhere I'd recommend if you're looking for a hotel that you want to live in whilst you're away but it's perfect as a base for exploring or a short escape from normal life.

A lovely stay at the hotel staff where Forth coming and very friendly. Recommend a stay there if you have a. At only 2 mums from Albert Dock 6 minutes walk to the docks and Liverpool one. McDonald's across the road. Very clean room. And not bad views from the hotel.

Stayed for two nights. Two couples. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Yes it’s a bit dated. Rooms could do with a bit of updating. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

Pros Free parking, great breakfast, clean basic rooms, quiet, nice staff, would really recommend. Cons Was a 15min walk into centre but on a dry day this is a very nice walk and there are taxis.

Cheap , Cheerful & Great location ”
Have stayed a number of times. Basic hotel in need of a upgrade in bedrooms . Staff very helpful. Just on edge of Albert quay, handy for all amenities. Shame that the company employs a private car parking company to monitor guest parking as these companies are not known for being sympathetic for any slight misunderstandings.
