Room was ok standard. Skirting could have done with being dusted but was clean apart from this. Floor is off centre and slopes downhill which isn’t ideal. No toilet in hotel room - a toilet with a sink built in the top would be ideal for the small space in the room where the sink is. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but overall was an ok base and the views from the hotel were lovely. Room was a little loud but due to single glazing this is to be expected, with fan on in room it covered the noise. Staff were always helpful and friendly and were happy to do anything they could within reason to keep us happy. In summary, ok as a base, some things were done perfectly but the rooms could be better.

The sink in the bathroom needs looking at as it wasn’t draining properly but apart from that we had a fantastic stay and couldn’t recommend this place enough! We will definitely be back next time!

There is no A/C you will have to buy your own fan I did so coz I had a baby. DISAPPOINTED There is no FRIDGE DISAPPOINTED The blanket and pillow cover very clean but when you remove it you well see the most disgusting thing u ever see in your life, ALL REALLY DERTY I had to remove it They ask u any rubish u have leave it outside before 14.00, that rubbish will stay there till next day front of your door this property value is £15 night max. Definitely I don't go more to that hotel.

Excellent location for us, staff very friendly, comfy beds, great view. Room was on the 4th floor with no lift. Room and bathroom could have done with a wipe , fairly dusty.

The bright airy room has a stunning view out to the old pier and the beach. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. This place is a little oasis in the heart of a bustling town.

2 star Hotel on Sea front with sea view very noisy with traffic and people walking past all night.. Towels and bedding replaced every other day.. No toilet in room or storage to hang anywhere accept hangers on back of the door.. Shower waste completely blocked with hair

Agodos app does not give you room specs do not use it waste of money and time. Ended up having to book another hotel as no bathroom in room had to travel 3 flights of stairs to the nearest and also the travel cot was forced Into the tiny room

Cheap and cheerful hotel.”
Cheap and cheerful hotel. The room was at the top of number of flights of stairs so wouldn't be suited to those who can't manage stairs very well. The WiFi kept cutting out though which was a pain. I'd stay again at the Cecil House Hotel.

I was on the third floor, and there's no lift. Narrow doors and corridors. Wouldn't recommend for those with disabilities or access issues.

An overly basic 'hotel'. Double bed is pushed against the wall so can't really sleep two. Room is very small. No wardrobe facilities. Shared toilet facilities down 2 flights of stairs which is not well advertised. Cleanliness was awful of the shower in the bedroom (not actually an ensuite). Shower didn't drain properly and the shower pump fixture was broken so it was impossible to tell if you were about to scald yourself with boiling water or turn yourself in to an icicle. Really would not recommend this hotel to anyone at all.
