If you are travelling pokhara, fishtail has unique location, nearby the jungle and lake. You can see different animals( variety of birds, squirrel, monkeys in the garden), no sounds of vehicles. Also if weather is clear you can see the mountains( fishtail) from the hotel garden. Its perfect place to stay. We as couple enjoyed our stay.

A Divine respite!”
This place is well worth your dollars and time. It is just a beautiful, calm place to spend time. i cannot wait to return. The views of Fishtail are exceptional, the staff are exceptional, the rooms are exceptional (the bed was so comfortable) the flowers were stunning, and the food was exceptional. I had the best Veg Biryani in my entire 3 weeks in Nepal. They even sautéed paneer for me at my request and it was PERFECT! This splurge is well worth it and you are benefiting cardiac patients in nepal who might not otherwise receive care. Your win is their win!!

A big disappointment. ”
A very famous hotel and ranked amongst the top around Pokhara but really can’t see why. It’s interesting that you took a raft or a boat to the hotel, and garden is well maintained, staffs are friendly and professional, but the room is old, bedsheet wasn’t very white, bed is squeaky. Apart from that, 5 minutes after we entered the room we killed 6 or 7 mosquitoes, plus there’s a spider happily sits in her web right above the bathroom door. We advised the staff and they took care of that immediately, still got to kill 2 mosquitoes in the evening. But worse part is the hot water supply, it suddenly turned extremely hot while in shower and almost got burnt. Really won’t recommend this hotel.

Great experience, isolated from the maddening tourists and yet in the middle of it all. Comfortable and clean I would recommend this to anyone who isn’t on a tight budget.

Relaxing stay with great view of lake”
Service and attentiveness of staff was very good. The gardens were very nice and the view of the lake was great. Rooms were old fashioned but clean, practical and comfortable.

Super location”
On a clear day you can see the reflection of Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre mountain in Phewa lake - a sight worth dying for. This is perhaps possible only from this property in Pokhara. However, the facilities could do with an upgrade especially with the kind of money charged.

Great stay at Fishtail”
I've stayed at 3 different hotels in Pokhara and this was my favorite. Lovely setting on the lake and away from the noise of the road along the Lake Side. The style is a little outdated but still has charm. Would definitely recommend it and return.

In a very crowded and busy Pokhara, this place is an oasis. Its quiet, clean, very nicely appointed and has a wonderful spa for a little pampering. The staff is very helpful and kind. The restaurant food is delicious. and reasonable.

The hotel location is quiet and away from the noise of the main shopping area but still near enough. However some of the facilities in the rooms seem to be dated and needs upgrading - the shower head installed here is of a lower standard than other cheaper hotels, the bedside tables with light switch was loose.

Fabulous place to be. Bathroom could be slightly bigger . Not far from town. View is stunning. Food is outdtanding. Service outstandig from all staff. Cater for all your needs. I will visit again.
