Cosy hotel with good amenities”
A 10 mins walk from the Mall Of Asia, this hotel is huge with very cosy room. There is iron & board, a safe, big cosy bed, powerful and quiet AC and the wifi connection is seamless and fast. The batheroom is very clean and modern. Not sure if it was because of the post pandemic where they are still lacking guests from China which they are predominantly targeting, i got a rate that was very attractive considering what it could offer. There are some 24 hours convenient shops just opposite the road., as well as some chinese eateries outside the lobby. Hotel seems rather safe as well as all guests are being checked during entrance to weed out those undesirables. Breakfast is basic with usual local fares but for the rate of the room, nothing much to complaint... if there is one thing to nitpick, it has to be the layout. The hotel is huge and getting to the room needs some getting used to. from the lobby, you will need to go one level up, go round and round looking for the correct elevator. if you take the wrong one, you will need to basically walk round and round to hunt for the room. a good idea to check with recept which specific lift to take to reach your room.

The hotel staff was amazing from.the moment we checked in. Our luggage were taken to our room and the room was impeccably clean and remained that way our entire stay. Our towels and bed linens were changed daily, toiletries replenished and they even wipe the water out of the sink. Truly unbelievable their attention to detail. The breakfast buffet and menu in general was delicious. The location is close to MOA. There's a restaurant, banks, 7-11 and laundry service literally out the front door of the hotel. So convenient and reasonably priced for solo or couple travelers and even travelers with children. The only con I found with the hotel is the swimming pool. It's limited on size and surrounded by high rise buildings because it's on the 7th floor outside. But it pales in comparison to the rest of the experience with the hotel. There's a coffee and tea store on the 2nd floor. The Golden Iced Tea and Milk Tea is out of this world!! Definitely will return to this hotel!!!

I would like to say that the hotel is very “SULIT”, you will really get what you paid for. The place is very strategic— it’s near MOA, IKEA, and other tourist spots. The staff are very accommodating; they will even greet you on the hallways, and this radiates the positivity. I also love that they have guides and signages to easily locate the room. Moreover, the room is really spacious and the bed is very comfortable. If one is looking for a place for staycation, I would highly recommend this. On the down side, I had some issues with the smell of the hallways on some floors, as some would smell a mixed of Durian and dried fish. Also, the elevators are soft-touched. I had some difficulties selecting floors (maybe this was just my problem haha). But overall, I had a great stay with Golden Phoenix, to mention that I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Coming from the US, it was nice to be able to communicate with the hotel directly to arrange pick up from the airport and have the cost charged to my room. We had 3 rooms for our family which were all on the same floor.. Mall of ASU us within walking distance but hotel also has complimentary shuttle at 9am, 2pm and 8:30pm. Pick up fromMIA back to hotel is 30 min after each drop off. Great free breakfast buffet. Also had a couple of dinners there which were also good. They have these meal pkgs for $350 -$450 pesos - soup, meat, veggies and rice plus a little fruit platter for dessert. Halo halo was very good too and a nice sized portion:-) Had to take care of some business in Cavite City. Had trouble figuring how to get there as the ferry no longer runs there from Manila. No drivers accepted our request on Grab (Asia’s version of Uber) so we would have to take the bus which seemed crazy. A staff member said we could hire him and hotel van for a few hrs. Lifesaver!!

One of the BEST hotels Manila has to offer”
I absolutely love this hotel! Centrally located about a 7-minute walk to Mall of Asia. Nice big rooms and a huge soft comfortable bed for a relaxing sleep. The staff is just amazing and very helpful. Always a smile on their face and understand my needs. if you have not stayed here then you are not staying at one of the BEST hotels available at a reasonable price. One advantage with staying several times at this hotel is that they upgraded me to a bigger room at no additional cost. Customer service keeps me coming back. You will not regret your stay.

Outstanding accommodations for decent price!”
We had stayed at Microtel the last time but seems possibly due to their popularity their prices went through the roof. So we decided to try this and i was a bit sceptical due to some negative reviews i saw. What i found though is honestly a much better place to stay, still very close to MOA and wow what an awesome place with many amenities. The breakfast buffet i would say even exceeds the Microtel ( which Microtel is excellent) and it is just an amazing hotel. They checked us in early even though they were super busy, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Only two minor negatives, they need to have an earlier shuttle to airport, our flight at noon and first shuttle was 12:00. They did help get us a Grab taxi though and was only 189 pesos. Also, the remote control was out of batteries and took two phone calls to get them to change them. Oh and in the morning, took 5 phone calls to get a hold of the desk and sounded like they hung up at least 3 of those 5. But I'm sure they were busy.

Worth it”
Pros: near airport, mall of asia, nuath thai (you can have best massage! Perfect for those who wants to relax). They also have a smoking room for those who smoke. Also, there’s family mart beside the hotel, restaurants, laundry shop and other needs. Staff are always geeting you. Unfortunately, we didn’t had the chance to try their breakfast since we woke up late. Cleanliness it also a big point. Cons: the only cons we encounter is that, you have to carry your bags /trolleys upon arrival because there’s stairs (5stairs??) before the entrance of the hotel which is very unconvenient if you have lot of things. Although their staff is there to help you. Another is the carpeting in the hallway going to your room. Its kind of hard to push your lugguage. Lastly, the lift, were on the 7th floor so we have to go to 2nd floor and find the lift that headed for the 7th floor. Overall, we will come back again and this hotel is a jem. Good job!

Recommended hotel near Mall of Asia”
I have stayed for 1 night and i was not expecting much when I booked the hotel. All my expectations were exceeded. Very spacious room, comfortable bed, clean room and toilet, polite hotel staff, and good breakfast. I have no complaint at all except maybe that I can hear the cars on the street. Doors and windows are not thick enough to cancel the surrounding noise. Overall, Im very happy with this hotel. It is worth my money .

They worth my time mentioning how great they are”
This hotel is unbelievable - they were not only cheaper than others, but exceeded our expectation with flying colors! They have a very welcoming atmosphere, they upgraded us twice and on another occasion they were the only hotel allowing our 17 years old son travel by himself checking in with no adult present, while all other Manila hotels denied him. The rooms are very clean and comfy. They have all amenities you can think of and some extra accessories. We only wish they added USB charge sockets and an airport/mall shuttle.

All you need”
Hotel Loacation is the best. You can walk to everywhere ,Family mart downstairs, 7/11 and w.mall at the end of the street. So many eating places. The hotel elevator is like a maze at first but you get used to it.it didnt bother me since I like walking around. The food for bf is more then enough. The room is huge and clean, really loved it. Will stay again next time.

Best offer”
We had a great stay here. We checked in hours late and checked out I think 22 minutes late and they didn’t put additional charge. The room was very spacious and clean and the staff are very kind and friendly. Hotels near malls and where there are lots of places to go usually offer a higher rate but we’re able to book at a cheap rate which icludes buffet breakfast.

Golden Phonix Hotel is located near MOA . It is clean and the breakfast menu is great. I will put an A plus score for the staff. They are very polite, friendly and helpful. My siblings live in Hong Kong, Australia and United states. We have our yearly family reunion in Philippines. We will surely book in golden Phoenix again.

Staycation with small/teenager kids.”
I called the hotel to ask them to pick us up in the airport since we are coming earlier in Manila with no problem they are there to pick us up when we arrived. And the bellman JL and the other staff take our luggage in their storage room so that we can go to our family gathering in Megamall directly. The room we live in is very big and comportable room 3015 & 3021. After that we move in to the executive room with no need to check out when we extended our stay we just transfer to our next room with the help of the staff. Everyone is very helpful and kind. Highly recommend since this is close to airport , Malls and food restaurant. And worth the money.

For my whole trio in Manila and Seoul, this would be the best hotel stay. Service was super super good. Food is great too. The doorman, waiters all were wonderful. Highly recommended. Not forgetting the rooms are huge!! Very comfortable and well facilitated.

The location is strategic, near MOA, a lot of GOOD places to eat nearby. You'll never go hungry! Deluxe king room has a good size. Quality of bed was also nice. I also LOVE the green-tea-like smell of this hotel, it relaxes me. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was the BEST! You can ask for hot chocolate and I won't forget their brownies.. Exceptional ”
We absolutely love Golden Phoenix hotel. Great location in walking distance to SM Mall of Asia as well as the Manila Bay waterfront with all the carnival type rides. Breakfast is great and a good selection of food to choose from. Also their cafe on the second floor has very good coffee, beverages and pastries/cakes and at a reasonable price. I love how nice the staff are and how helpful everyone is to you and it makes you feel that you are special

I only had 3 complaints about this hotel otherwise it was fantastic. We were on the 6th floor and the elevator only went to the 2nd floor had to walk across 2nd floor to get to elevator or take escualator to first floor. Not a big deal. The carpet I suppose was old and stinking outside our room. The hotel is next to a barangy and the jeepneys do there u-turn in front of hotel. That is fine but they cannot stop blowing their horns. All nite they blew their horns. You would think the hotel would stop that.

I brought my family along to stay at Golden Phoenix since I am watching a concert near the Arena and we were glad to have been upgraded to a bigger room. Aside from the parking which is a bit of a challenge, the rooms and facilities were a big contribution to the comfort of our stay. I will definitely come back again.
