the perfect Ironman hotel”
Stayed here as it was super close to transition/event area of the Bahrain Ironman and was really happy we chose to stay here, especially considering some of the negative reviews. we really enjoyed our stay, the hotel isnt the most modern but is very nice and clean and tidy, the staff are really really nice. rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds especially nice after coming from Thailand where they are rock hard!! The pool, health spa with steam rooms, hot and cold pools, etc was lovely to use pre and post race, its a shame women dont get more time to use it. The buffet breakfast was amazing, always different choices on hot foods, a great bakery, fruit and cereal area, egg station, dosas made to order. if was nice to have lots of vegetarian options and the manager also got soya milk in after the first day so my husband could have it in his coffee and cereal. The location could not have been better for the ironman, it was a 5 minute walk across the road. definitel stay here again

We read some of the bad reviews about this hotel but to be honest I totally disagree. The hotel is clean and have a nice location. The staff were really amazing specially Mohamed were really helpful to my stay experience and Rohetta and Sumit were nice too .

Accommodating Staff, generous breakfast! ”
Our stay in Golden Tulip was truly remarkable. I informed the management that it's our honeymoon, so they prepare the room extra special and put some decorations in it. Duty manager even called me to ask my preference which is I really appreciated. They go extramiles for their guests! Pros - Room size is ok as stated in the website, with all the necessary things you need for your stay. Views from the window is nice specially at night. Check-in and check-out is fast Breakfast room service was so generous that it really fills our stomach and satisfied us. They have a mega deal that time if u want to order sandwiches which is 40% from original price. Cons- Bldg is bit outdated but clean. Room has a mild dew smell, maybe due to the oldness of the carpet and furnitures itself which doesn't have something to do with the housekeeping. Overall we are very satisfied specially with the staff and Duty manager who called me. Hospitality at its best!

My favorite hotel in Bahrain ”
This’s my second visit to the hotel but definitely not the last. I always feel welcomed by the staff as if it’s their home and I’m a guest. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe. I needed to go to the cold store but didn’t wanna go alone so they sent one of the staff to accompany me there and insure my safety. Everything I need is available including my favorite salon. Best thing over there is the warmth and hospitality of the staff.

Located on a quite zone away from the noisy streets. Clean and comfortable. There is free valet parking service and the hotel has easy access to main attractions around. The only negative comments that car parkings are not covered parking so in summer the car will be boiling during the day :)

The best thing I like about the hotel is its location which is in the center with 3 main malls nearby. the staff in the hotel has good service with very quick check-in / out process. The hotel has a nice range of breakfast, a top recommended Japanese restaurant and a bar. Fitness center with outdoor swimming pool is also available. They have valet around the clock. sometimes the shaded parking is not available which makes it difficult in summer days.

We selected the hotel for it's proximity to the ironman start and finish. We were pleasantly surprised by the assistance and personal touch we received from the staff. Special appreciation to the restaurant staff who made an early breakfast on race day possible and to the general manager mr. Al Sayed who welcomed us back with a kind gesture after the race. On the slight negative side, rooms are a bit dated, carpets are a bit worn, could use a renewal.
