The hotel exists near Al Ghurair Mall, which is constantly teeming with people. The hotel itself is good, with old but clean rooms. The staff are nice as well.

Dirty and smell rooms with nill services”
Room was not clean despite i check in at 21:30 pm. I came back at 23:30 and still room was not cleaned. I waited in reception till they clean the room for me but when enter it it was not cleaned .only they arranged the bed with all old bedsheets and blanket. Bathroom was clean only. Furniture is almost ruined. Located near to many indian and some local arabic restaurants. Around 1 km from union metro station. I stayed for 1 week but they never change bed sheet and pillow cases . Never change towels. Never clean the room or the bath room. Every day they will give you different paper for different wifi password which is strange. Never will come back again

bugs are everywhere the rooms are smelly the showers are stinky, and your feet sticks on the carpet. I had to put my jacket under my head to avoid smelly pillow. although I have paid in advance for 5 nights, I left the first night, and I didn't care about the refund

There is no value for money even the rate is cheap. The facilities and amenities are so poor, room cupboard are broken and full of dust,vanity table are also broken,bathroom are not fully cleaned and the room itself it was not cleaned and sanitized, and there is lot of bed bugs.. 😔 housekeeping staff was not accommodating and rude attitude.

We stay only 1 night. It’s very bad experience we never had before specially on reception one unprofessional Philippino who don’t how to talk with guest. I will never ever recommend any one for this hotel better stay home rather than go this hotel.

When we reached there we came to know that our booking is cancelled. But after a discussion they gave us one room against the booking of three rooms. They don't provide us any extra bed and blankets. Our booking is from agoda. Com, so plz don't book this hotel if u want to enjoy the trip.

The absolute worst hotel i ever seen”
Stay away from this hotel if you don't want bad experience on your holiday . I booked a room 3 months ago , on day i arrived they told me all their rooms are in maintenance , the manager asked me contact Agoda for money refund. But when i stayed at reception room contacting Agoda i heard receptionist man was talking with a guess , he demanded 500 USD or AED (i didn't hear clearly but its exactly "Five hundred") per night . The price i booked was 50USD/1 night . I realized they tried to cheat me because it's on New Year Eve holiday , they wanted a higher price so they refused to let me in . I contacted Agoda and they confirmed my situation , Agoda agreed to refund by Agoda Cash . Overall , manager of this hotel is lier and greedy, i suggest you should stay away from this hotel

Gulf Star Hotel is POOR and BAD toward its HOSPITALITY SERVICE”
I booked Gulf Star Hotel in Deira, Dubai prior to my arrival. They cancelled my accommodation on the day I arrived in Dubai. I read all their cancellation messages upon my arrival in Dubai International Airport last December 26, 2019. Imagine that this time is a peak season in Dubai. I already paid everything through Agoda.com and they will just cancel the accommodation that instant. Also, they did not assist me to look for a new accommodation. Gulf Star Hotel did not give me refund or financial assistance to have a new hotel. Therefore, I paid much higher to my new accommodation than the one I paid in Gulf Star. It was a waste of money. I AM NOT RECOMMENDING GULF STAR HOTEL AND THEY DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT HOSPITALITY.

One of the worest hotel i have ever been in my life. Very dirty hotel with crouching around the room smelly. The maager very rude and layer The stauff are very bad and luck of engliah the girl in the receptionist very rude as well no word for her. Very noisy pary all night long couldn't sleep I have no idea how they are strayed this long in the area If this hotel in Australia or America they would be in big trouble and close down. the receptionist was very rude tried to send us away saying that the hotel is full even after we went there with a confirmed booking it took more than an hour to get a room plus everyone looks so annoyed rooms were not clean with no towels smells bad worst experiance ever
