We stayed one night and wish we could have stayed longer! The room, although a bit small was very comfortable and well appointed. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and the service was very attentive. Highly recommend.

Great value for money, pet friendly hotel ”

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, before arriving they asked to change my room to one of their cottage rooms (small £10 supplement) which gave me and my dog our own front door. Room was immaculate, with great facilities. The attention to detail such as providing full sized mugs and options such as green tea and hot chocolate were really appreciated. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Will definitely return soon!

Very basic offering but we were in the area to visit the woodspeen inn for a fabulous meal. The room was clean and basic but good value for its cost. The breakfast was again very basic and not the most obvious set up. Nothing was on the tables to welcome us in and the coffee and tea refills were not offered. The pastry selection was clearly from a 'long life Tesco multipack' and not very appetizing.

I only booked for convenience. I booked it on traveller reviews & they were spot on. Our room was a converted outbuilding had everything we needed. The pub itself was gorgeous with beautiful food. The room, two meals & a bottle of wine - just over £100.

the entrance smelt so bad and the room was very basic with and was very warm . I couldn't open the windows and had no air con. the floor cracking nose from the room above me was too much and I couldn't sleep all night. The breakfast was disappointing too. It wasn't worth the money I paid for 2 nights. Won't be staying there again.

Great place Great staff ”

Excellent pub with rooms, clean tidy roomsexcellent breakfast but it's the Barn restaurant that made a huge difference to our family meet up. Kind considerate staff and a well stocked bar, Warner Edwards gin did it for us!

Not bad, but over-priced. The hotel is good for touring stops, and is close to retirement homes for those wanting to visit elderly relatives.

Leuk hotel, kleine kamers, goede ligging”

Ligging van het hotel was goed, het hotel bestaat uit meerdere gebouwen, we waren met z'n 3en en ze hadden een kamer met 3 single bedden dus dat was mooi. Kamer was klein, lage plafonds maar verder wel prima. Had wel wat schoner gekund, een beetje out dated allemaal. Je kan gewoon parkeren op de parkeerplaats van het hotel. We zaten hier 2 nachten, we hebben Winchester en Oxford bezocht, tevens het kasteel uit de serie Downtown Abbey. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis. 's Avonds kun je er goed eten.
