This is one of the best luxury bed and breakfasts we have stayed in the staff were very helpful and friendly the room was the best very luxury lovely bathroom. Lot to do at the castle and garden are the best I We have seen all the staff where very helpful. We will be back

Approx an hour away from London, this lovely castle and b & b was the perfect getaway. Such interesting history and beautiful grounds. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, staff very welcoming and helpful. Apart from breakfast, there aren’t any restaurants in the hotel but there is a cafe onsite within the castle grounds or a lovely pub 2 minutes up the road where really tasty food is provided. A fun day out for kids and for couples who wish to make use of the b and b

Not cleans properly and abrupt staff”
Turned up and was greeted by a very polite and helpful gentleman. Checked in and went to the room and was very disappointed. Certainly not 5 star and the bathroom was not cleaned properly, there was dirty marks on the tiles. We were given a menu choice for breakfast which I filled in, due to covid there was no running buffet, when I went for breakfast a lady came over and asked me to confirm what I had already requested, in a loud voice for the whole dining room to hear, what for I don’t know as they were clear tick boxes, She then can back after a few minutes in an even louder voice and repeated what she already asked in a clear attempt to try and embarrass both of us. I wouldn’t book to stay there again for the price they charged. Not worth the money for the service they provided.

Impolite stuff”
Everything is lovely here. Bed and room are nicely prepared. They are clean and tidy at the point of checking in. I did see some dirt on bed liner but they are small matter and very understandable. Breakfast in the morning is nice. Especially the pastry, I love the croissant. The bhot dishes are average. Kipper is a bit salty though. On the check out day after walking around the garden, nightmare happened. 14:25: I asked for assistance from the reception and got me a taxi to Hever station (5-minute driving) as we had train to catch at Hever station at 15:00. The receptionist, Helen, was very helpful and told me the taxi would arrived in 10 mins. 14:39 After waiting for 10 minutes more, I was hesitated (because I didn’t want to be sounded offensive and pushy) ,asked her politely and checked when was the taxi arrival time. She said ”It will arrive in few minutes .You should be able to catch the train at 15:00.” Therefore, I still kept my patience and waited. 14:50 I started panicked and wondered why the taxi hadn’t arrived yet. I didn’t hear any follow up from Helen as she went to somewhere else instead of staying at reception. I had no choice but ask another stuff (a woman with glasses ) at reception for help. She didn’t know anything about the taxi arrangement. She needed to find Helen and figured out what was happening. It took around five more minutes. At that time 14:55, I knew I wouldn’t be able to catch the train at 15:00. 14:55 Helen came back from the somewhere else. She sat in front of her lovely computer and continued working without dropping me any follow-up message. The other stuff told us the taxi is coming in 2-3 mins. I was so pissed and disappointed with Helen’s attitude. 15:06 Taxi arrived and I was so mad and said “ I have already missed my train at 15:00 and would have to wait for an hour more 16:00for the next train. Why would I need a cab now? I would rather walk to Hever station myself in 20-min walk as I have one hour now. ” Since I didn’t

Fantastic hotel”
We stayed at Hever Castle in the Astor Wing, visited the castle and beautiful grounds, which were idyllic and so peaceful. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.
