Lovely location & hotel grounds but hotel needs refurbishment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Found the restaurant food very pricey for what it was. Would be a gem of a place if had a makeover & put air con in rooms

Meant to be a 4 star hotel....food very average..tried to get room service,had to go to the restaurant and was told they are very busy.. not good...there are better hotels for the money..which they hiked up because Goodworth races was on.

Lovely stay with friends for anniversary. The staff are all lovely and friendly. The rooms are desperately needing an upgrade but clean. The facilities are fab so makes up for the room! If u cam afford the better rooms then I would.

My lunch was awful. The room antiquated. Room service at 1 am was simply excellent even if the fare was underwhelming. The hotel has a spa and pool and golf course. I tried none but they will attract visitors. I was there for a dinner dance and the food was good if unexciting. We all had a great night despite the hotel? If there was an alternative venue nearby I can't help but think the Avisford would suffer badly. It needs better cooks and updating. My room was squirrelled away up two flights stairs [no lift] facing the sun and with the smallest noisiest desk fan as cooler.

Very small room requiring redecoration, Sauna and indoor pool very good, Outside swimming pool and table tennis tables available, Exterior woodwork again in need of decoration. If you are looking for a room only i'd consider travelodge and premier inn much better value with later checkout

Late check in - food and general issues”
Totally un-satisfactory : food was over priced cold, non discript and warmed up. Booking in was awful. We arrived after a long journey from Wales at 12.30pm as we were attending our grandsons rugby tournamount in Chichester, we informed reception that when we arrived at 12.30pm and made one of the young ladies aware that one of our party was diagnosed with dementia and that he used a walking stick. We were hoping that they would inform the Housekeeping in an attempt to make our rooms available. As advised after many trips to the desk we were given a drinks voucher at 3.00pm, many people arrived from 12.30pm shown directly to their rooms when they arrived. We were going to stay for breakfast but after two attempts with the food I am afraid we all agreed we would not. And may I say accomodated wonderfully by the Premier Inn at Chichester, where their Manager Mark Turner could not do enough for us and allowed us to order food and helped us over our three day stay. Not worth the money

OLD AND LOVELY”
THIS HOTEL IS LOVELY IN SO MANY WAYS, IT HAS CHARACTER, THE FLOORS CREEK AND IT LOOKS TIRED AND HAS THAT ANTIQUATED SMELL OF SOMETHING THAT WAS BUT IS NO MORE. THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST HILTON I HAVE EVER STAYED IN TO BE HONEST BUT THE GROUNDS ARE BEAUTIFUL, THERES IN AND OUT DOOR POOLS AND TENNIS AND SQUASH AND GYM THE RESTAURANT IS NICE AND THE FOOD IS GOOD, NICE WINES AND BEERS AND ITS RELAXING. IT SHOULD BE, ITS THE HILTON. THE STAFF ARE NICE , A SENSE OF DISREGARD FOR REAL HILTON SERVICE, THEY NEED TO GOTO BRIGHTON HILTON FOR A DAYS TRAINING. WILL I GO BACK, MAYBE AT A PUSH AND A HUGE DISCOUNT. NOT WORTH THE MONEY, WELL NO MORE THAN £75 PER NIGHT

We stayed for 1 night and we were made to feel welcome! ! Excellent food in the cedar restaurant only criisthat the waitress didn't understand us when we asked for a bottle of 'house red'. We will definitely stay there again

Very good except the bed was very hard and there was no shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on therefore had to use the floor.

A scruffy hotel not deserving 4 stars”
It was a disaster. We upgraded room and went to use it as a spa hotel. The room was spartan, poorly decorated and the spa in poor condition with steam room out of action. A light bulb cpould not be replaced beacause it was out of hours for maintenance at the weekend. No housekeeping on duty to answer simple call for milk and sugar. The luxury dressing gown was in tatters. Final straw was the terrible squeeky bed. We gave up and left sacrificing a £230 booking for the second night.

It is a nice place to stay with the clean room, comfort bed . It is easily access to all of the public transport,train near Littlehampton train station even you would like to take express train to London and access to Paris Nord station.

Relaxing countryside break”
We booked this using our Agoda reward points...when we eventually found a hotel we could redeem against. Very pleased with our choice, good hotel situated in lovely grounds. We ate the the Black Rabbit pub, a short drive away which was great. Used Spa and Pool facilites in morning, Indoor and Outdoor poll looked great, but a bit messy (grime and plasters in Indoor Pool and Sauna / Steam room) Great breakfast- looked like it could just do with a good clean.

Globally a good hotel but the rooms were not the ones showed on the Agoda website, they were narrow and not so beautiful, they did not reflect the reality! Nevertheless the service, restaurant (very expensive but lovely), bar, lobby and breakfast were excellent.
