Perfect Hoi An Retreat”
From the moment we arrived at River Town Hotel we instantly felt at home. Our room was beautiful and comfortable - looking out over the main pool and river beyond. Relaxing by the pool was great, a perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail or two in between rain showers. We also made use of the excellent in house Lemongrass Spa (try the Hoi An signature massage) and enjoyed it so much that we went back consecutive days. The breakfast buffet was also brilliant with everything you could want and catering to all tastes. Without a doubt though, what made our stay especially great was the friendly and attentive staff team. They should all be very proud of the service they are providing! A special thanks to the great bartenders Huỳnh and Thành who made our stay especially memorable and who we hope to keep in touch with. We used the hotel’s transfer service to take us up to Huế - our driver Dung was excellent and spoke great English, guiding us over the Hai Van Pass and allowing us to stop at numerous points to explore and take pictures. I’d highly recommend this hotel to all future guests looking for a great place to stay in Hoi An - we were sad to leave! Scott and Breige

This hotel is everything we wished for. The location is perfect - close to the old town, about 10 mins leisurely walk along the water, it is quiet and has free shuttle bus to the beach should you wish to go there. The hotel itself is lovely with 2 good pools, beautiful outdoor spaces to sit and all the amenities you expect from a very good hotel. The room we had was beautiful and spotlessly clean with a wonderful view from our balcony, good bathroom and shower with both consistent power and temperature. And now to the really good bits! The staff is amazing and go out of their way to help you and just be kind and lovely. And the breakfast buffet is one of the best we've ever had. The quality of the food and drink is perfect and constantly kept filled up - there are no short cuts taken here. We had dinners here as well and the food is really, really good. They have good chefs here. In all we just wished we had stayed longer than 6 nights. Thank you to all fantastic staff for our stay!!

My wife and I are a retired couple from the West Coast of the US. We wanted a place that was quiet and clean, and we were not disappointed. We stayed for 5 days in June 2022. The resort is VERY well-run; the staff are prompt, helpful, and -- as far as I can tell after many conversations -- genuinely committed to their work. The location of the resort is about 1 km from Hoi Ann's famous Night Market. For us, this was a good distance: an easy walk, but not so close that were exposed to the boom-boom-boom of discos and karaoke. The room and bathroom furnishings were recent and spotless. There are a number of public spaces to hang out in the heat of the day; my favorite was a shaded pavilion on the grounds with bubbling fountains. The owner is also a hands-on manager, and is actively looking for ways to make the resort more ecologically responsible. We came to stay in the resort soon after Viet Nam re-opened after Covid, and took advantage of a reduced-price promotion, so for us the value for money was excellent. All in all, it was one of the best places we have stayed in Viet Nam.

We stayed 6 nights and just wished we could have stayed longer. This is a truly good hotel. Our room was beautiful with a wonderful view from the balcony (and spotlessly clean). The bathroom has a good shower with consistent temp and power. The hotel itself is lovely with 2 pools and great outdoor spaces to sit. Now the really good bits! The staff is amazing, so helpful, attentive and just lovely. The breakfast buffet is fantastic: the quality and range of the food is brilliant. We had several dinners here as well and can just say that the chefs here are very, very good. The location is perfect: close to the old town, 10 mins leisurely walk, but still quiet. There is a free shuttle bus to the beach. We've stayed in a lot of high end hotels, but this is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in. Thanks to all the lovely, hard working staff for our wonderful stay :)

The Friendliest Staff made for a Perfect Trip”
This hotel is so beautiful. Every detail and aspect made for the perfect stay. The restaurant was delicious, the room was clean, the pool was wonderful (there were two!). What made our experience so wonderful though, was definitely the attentive and friendly staff. They were able to give us honest suggestions, communicate clearly with any questions or concerns, and welcome us to Hoi An with great hospitality. I would book again in a heartbeat. Also, the hotel is located at a perfect distance from the central area of downtown. You are able to walk to the more touristy spots within 5 minutes but are far enough away from the noise and bustle. The spot makes for a perfect getaway.

We were really impressed by the Ann Retreat Resort & Spa. The facilities were clean, the room was spacious, the staff were friendly, the free breakfast was very good and each day they changed the selection. Eggs are cooked to order and are free as well. There are two pools, one for the kids and one for adults. The adult pool is nice and big and 1.1 - 1.9 metres deep, which was great as hotel pools are often too small and shallow. Location is great, just a 5-10 minute walk to all the attractions of the Old Town. As it is just on the edge of the old town, it's a little quieter and more peaceful. No hesitation recommending the Ann Retreat Resort & Spa. It's a classy hotel for a very good price.

A Retreat By The River”
I enjoyed my time in Ann Retreat very much. We were greeted by professional and warm hotel staff. They were also very helpful in recommending local spots. Thoroughly enjoyed the free bike rental which helped us explore Hoi An. The hotel facilities and room was very clean and felt new. It was better than I expected since Ann Retreat is a bit away from the old quarter. This also helped create a very quiet and soothing experience. I would recommend using the bikes to travel around. The breakfast selection was sufficient and the restaurant staff was attentive. I would recommend Ann Retreat to any friends and family visiting Hoi An.

The location is superb! It's located at a very quiet end of the ancient town, only 10 mins walk or 3 mins on bike (free at the resort). The resort has a lush garden at the front, which is rare for such central location, offering a very tranquil & welcoming feeling. Our rooms are very spacious and clean, we felt like room service cleaned it twice a day. The plus point is it has 2 swimming pools. Adults can enjoy quiet & relaxing swim at their own pool which is far away from family pool that allows kids. We will definitely stay here again!

We have stayed in many places throughout Southeast Asia, some of them have been outstanding. This place has a warmth and charm that really sets it apart from any other Hotel. The staff is amazing. We have stayed here three times in 3 years and we feel like we are going back to family each time. Friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. The facility, the pools, the food, the grounds, the location are all OUTSTANDING, but it's the staff that sets this place at the top of anywhere else we have stayed. Period . We would not even consider staying in another place in Hoi An. 5 stars just simply is not enough for this OUTSTANDING hotel. Nuff said.

Nestled away from the busy and loud ancient town but still walkable to all the attractions, Ann Retreat Resort & Spa is perfect for both travelers on their feet all day that need a comfy and quiet place to crash and those wanting to lounge around and enjoy the view. Pros: _ Great view of the canal and the Thu Bon river _ Location in a quiet area, allowing for restful sleep _ Very kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough staff that can communicate flawlessly in English _ Wide variety of high-quality food at buffet breakfast (they box it for you in case of early flights!) _ Free bikes available to go around ancient town (please watch out for crazy Viet traffic though!) _ Airport transportation at lower price than cabs Cons: _ (Cannot think of any, but it was only a two-day stay)

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the old town. The staff were all fantastic, the room was clean and spacious and there was a good selection for breakfast, even on the quieter weekdays. We particularly liked the large adults only pool, which was quiet and relaxing, and the bicycles were useful for cycling around the town if we wanted to go further afield. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

I think I chose the BEST hotel to stay in!! Ann Retreat Resort & Spa is in the perfect location (5 min walk or 2 min on the free bikes) into the main Hoi An Ancient Town. Our room was pristine and looked like it had just been painted and renovated, the bed was super comfy, our balcony overlooked the river, the Resort has 2 beautiful pools, the grounds are lovely, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever had and the free high-tea every afternoon was absolutely divine!!! Need I say more?? 😘

The hotel was really clean and all staffs were friendly. The depth of swimning pool was deep and wide so it was great to swim. All rooms were really clean. All of my family enjoys staying for 3days. The dinstant from hotel and old town is close. I will definitely go and stay again.

Couldn’t fault our stay - staff were genuinely friendly and so happy to help. Breakfast is great, rooms are very clean and well serviced. Pool area is very nice and not usually too busy. Walk into old town is about 10 minutes with lots of places to stop on the way. Loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Wonderful resort with the best staff ever!”
I was so glad to have picked Ann Retreat for my first venture out to Hoi An in our post-Covid world. No doubt the pandemic is still taking its toll on Hoi An -- and all other top destinations in Vietnam. The resort itself was not completely back to normal for example no shuttle bus to the beach yet and spa was still closed. But for everything else, the service was just top notch and the wonderful staff made my stay really memorable. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Wonderful stay in Hoi An”
We had a wonderful time at River Town Hotel. It’s quiet but lies within walking distance to the river and city center of Hoi An, which was perfect for us. Rooms are spacious and have a nice balcony. There’s house keeping twice a day. Breakfast is pretty nice as well with different food options every day. We were also positively surprised by the pool area. The pool in the back of the hotel is for adults only and embedded within a wonderful garden. Loved it! Wished we would have stayed at least one night longer.

Wow! We've been spoiled for the rest of our vacation because of the River Town Hotel and it's staff! They were genuinely the best service we've ever experienced which made us stay way longer than expected. It's worth every dong and we fully recommend the hotel to anyone interested in having a great stay. We booked the river view room and while the bridge in front of the hotel is a bit loud it's been beautiful and has a very well designed inventory. 5* from us!:)
