Stayed here for a trip to Legoland (30 mins away). The staff were so child friendly, especially one guy at breakfast times. Very clean, good location and helpful staff. The children didn't want to leave!

WEEKEND OVERNIGHT STAY WITH 2 YOUNG CHILDREN”
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the my young 2 children loved the large room that was allocated to us. My 2 young children had ample room to play until bedtime. From the onset all the staff were amazing and they had the human touch. They went over and beyond to help our stay enjoyable. Helen and Soliman were brilliant with my young 2 children. Both my children were so engaging with Helen and Soliman. My sincere thanks to both of you for your genuine human touch with all my family. It is the human connection and the kindness that is missing today, for Helen and Soliman to reach out so naturally in this manner was the real human touch. Again my sincere thanks to both of you. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Reading.

Holiday Inn Reading South”
Our room was clean and tidy and very reasonably priced and extremely comfortable. If you are staying in Reading this hotel is ideally situated a few steps from a frequent bus service. Unfortunately, there is no lift to the upper floor so those with mobility issues should request a ground floor room. Great place to stay and we will certainly be returning.

Short business trip to Greenpark Reading, short taxi ride away. Nice rooms and bathroom, comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was nice and the dinner i had there was tasty. Would go back.

We had a lovely stay, suited us perfectly for the night. Modern room and bathroom with great facilities. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very good value for money. Definitely recommend if you're needing somewhere to stay for a short break in the area.

Good hotel but needs more from a Holiday Inn”
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights and was immediately impressed with the staff and facilities. Our troubles began when our room got cleaned for the first time and an old, cold mug of tea which was un-finished was left on the side of our table and not chucked away/replaced. Even if the cleaner didn’t want to throw it away, they should have left a spare mug and they didn’t leave any extra sugar or milk for more tea but did give more tea bags.... apart from this we had a good experience and would recommend the hotel. It’s just that we expected just a little more from the price and from the fact that’s it’s a “Holiday Inn”.

The location is quite good relative to my work visit. Staff is really helpful, helped us with luggage because there was no lift unfortunately. Have a good amount of basic amenities.

Quiet location”
This was the first time I stayed here. The room was large and clean but seemed to be at back of hotel in the "annex". I got a good rate so can't complain. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I booked as it is easy access to Heathrow (about 45 minutes) on Jct 11 of M4 and ample free parking (airport hotel always charge).

never again”
never go again for the same cost as we payed for this hotel it is to expansive for what you get. The familyroom is in the back of the hotel. A long walk for kids if the are very tyred. The floor was making a really bad noice. it was if you walk on a boat. We hear the other guest talk in the room upstairs. It was very very resounding. you could hear the tv's from other rooms. The badroom was nice. We had enought towels. The people of the hotel are friendly. The swimmingpool looks nice but the water was to cold for the little kids. For us it was oke.The lady of the pool brougth us towels. Kind of her! we didnt eat in the hotel but is looks good. For us is not a good hotel. We sleep ( uhh lay down) 1 night in this hotel.The checkout is until 12 oclock but we decided to go earlyer (7 oclock)The noices en bad bed keeps the kids a wake en we never booked this hotel again. Sorry

Not a nice place to stay”
This hotel is way over priced .Th first night we arrived it was 8pm . we were not allowed to the Public bar as there was a private gathering there. The beds were all hard and asked for a soft matress none was availible.No Safe in the room.only single glazed windows. we atein the resterant and the floor was dirty with food on it from previous customers No lift at this Hotel. so be ready for a good walk each time you want to go to your room I would not be staying at this hotel
