Great friendly hotel in top location”
The staff make this hotel a great place to stay. They were all really friendly and very helpful. The coffee and tea available in the downstairs area made it a nice place to sit after returning to the hotel, and many people used this facility, adding to the casual, friendly vibe. The location is excellent for exploring, you can walk to so many places and being close to a main park means you can enjoy walking through the gardens on your way heading to the station or anywhere north of the hotel. It’s also a nice place to sit and people watch. We were on the top floor which was lovely and quiet, although the slanting roof on this level did make the room a bit smaller. The bathroom was very small but it served its purpose. We did have an unpleasant smell coming from the drain that got worse over the first 3-4 days but it did improve after we let management know, they must have done something to help. The beds were really comfortable with excellent feather pillows and doonas :)

Adaquate room,great breakfast”
We found the room to be simple for the money but clean,comfortable bed,and quiet.The shower drained slowly and the toilet flushed slowly....There was no counter space or storage space in the bathroom which was awkward and no electrical outlet in bathroom.The staff were great,especially the early morning person doing breakfast (sorry we didn't get her name). Breakfast was very nice and the hotel offeres coffee,juice,water and cookies throughout the day,which was a nice touch. Hotel location was wonderful.15 minute walk to Norreport Metro,close to Nyhavn canal and Rosenberg castle.

Nice Hotel”
Very friendly and everytime an open ear for the costumers. Nice, small, clean and comfortable. Nice aerea too with some nice bars around, but you could not hear. So, not directly under or beside.

Best location with several problems”
We've spent 9 nights in this hotel, in a room with three beds. I believe its location is the best. The 24hrs Tea/Coffee & cookies is a great idea. But there were a few problems: the mattress were too soft, we had several days with bad smell- maybe stench from the garbage container on the backyard effected by the hot weather (so rooms towards the street might be better), there is no AC and it was pretty hot those days (26-19 degrees Celsius).

it's only a short walking distance to the main places and shopping area of Copenhagen. The furniture has come into years but everything else is quite good.

The hotel is in a great location; staff are very friendly & helpful. The room I had was small, but with storage under the bed, still have you a sense of space. Bathroom was spacious & clean. Would recommend to anyone staying 2 nights.

My sister and I stayed one night before our cruise. Perfect location-just down the block from the gardens and so many other sites within 15-20 minutes of walking. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Location Excellent breakfast Staff are excellent Cozy atmosphere Quiet Clean Con: Needs an update re: decor but if it keeps prices reasonable the who cares. It's a lovely little hotel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Noicy and with bad wifi and shower curtains”
We got a room at the top floor and towards the inner yard. Every morning at appr. 07:00 there was a lot of noice from the ground floor. The wifi in the room was out on two occasions, the first time the reception informed us that we had to wait until the next morning before they could restart it. The shower had oldfashioned curtains, not a fresh feeling with them clinging to the body when showering. The breakfast was a nice surprise. Fresh and with a lot of choises.

Value for Money + Excellent Location”
If you really want to see all the main cultural / architectural attractions in the heart of the city this hotel is the best when it comes to location. The staff were very helpful; there's free tea/coffee/biscuits/fruit during the entire day which is fantastic. Excellent Wifi. Bedding and towels were exceptionally clean - only complaint is that there were some strange small marks on the headboard of the bed and on the curtain. Moreover, I'd definitely stay again (especially as a solo traveller) wanting to be in the city centre.

Excellent value in good location”
Just a 5 minute walk to Nyhavn, Stroget, Amalienborg and Rosenborg Slot. Comfortable room with excellent bathroom. Free tea/coffee/snacks available all day cannot be under-estimated in a city where two coffees after a day sightseeing can cost nearly £10.

clean but not so professional staff”
It is located in a quiet area, as yet you can find very nice bars/pubs if you just walk a couple of blocks. In contrast, some staff did not look so professional to me. I used the toilet and flushed the water just before going to bed. The water didn't stop and kept running all night. I told the staff about it in morning when I went for a walk, hoping it would be repaired when I returned. The staff (young lady) said "Thank you"(I still don't know why she said so, rather than "We will fix immediately"). However, when I returned about 40-50 minutes later, it was still not fixed and since I did not want to be interrupted (We had to rush to the airport after packing), I decided to fix myself. So while my partner was packing, I pushed the water flush button hundred times, tried to open the lid of the water tank, and so forth; and I could stop the water running somehow after spending around 10 minutes. It was an unpleasant experience.
