Great location, great hotel”

Great location that is easy to get to from Shinjuku Station or Shin-Okubo station. You are are 2 block back from the night life and hustle and bustle of Shinjuku but once you get to the hotel you can’t hear any of it. I will certainly be recommending this hotel to others.

Overall Ok”

Location is good, walkable distance to the metro, mostly korean food nearby this hotel, less than a minute walk to family mart and don quijote, hotel to the right there’s a batting center which u can play baseball. Their water pressure in the bathroom is a plus too! Staffs are very helpful! Cons: sleeping room is so small that u can’t barely walk after u open a large suitcase especially 2 adults with 2 large suitcases in a double room.

Comfortable, clean hotel at convenient location.”

The room was very clean and comfortable. It wasn't very big, but that was to be expected for a room in downtown Tokyo. We weren't in the room much anyways and because of the layout, it was definitely big enough. The bathroom was very big. They provide showergel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Other amenities (toothbrush etc. ) are provided in the lobby (right in front of the elevators) free of charge. As a nice extra we had a floor on the 10th floor with a good view. The staff we dealt with spoke English and both check-in and out were easy and fast. The location is very convenient. It is in a quiet side street and the walk to the subway station doesn't take very long. All in all a very good price / quality hotel at a convenient location. We had a great stay.

Will stay again ”

It was very comfortable, clean and large room that was unexpected. Staff were well mannered, kind, hospitality was great. A bit walk distance from metro but it’s acceptable destance. Not sure about the price being fair or not since it was New Year’s Eve price but for sure will check again to consider staying again. It was more than expected :)

Good hotel with location.”

Have stayed in Shinjuku for more than 15 times with different hotels, this is so far the most satisfying hotel. Though location is 5 mins from APA (same price but in the center of Shinjuku), the room size more than make up the experience. With 18m3 room, the bathroom was big and normal bathtub, bedroom with Queen sized bed and plenty of space for bags. Staff friendly and helpful. Food outlets and convenience stores nearby. So far best experince for my stay in Shinjuku.

Ideal location”

This hotel is situated in an ideal area/location for couples. The nearest station is Shin-Osaka and this is within reach of the shopping district. Shin-Osaka is a relatively smaller station but it can get pretty crowded. Traveling with a big luggage might get difficult for some, but we were fine with it.

Nice Location, Friendly Staff”

The location is near east exit of Shinjuku Station, just need 8 minutes to walk. Staffs are friendly and helpfull. Lot of restaurant and mini market surrounding the hotel, easy to find good food. Amenities are quite complete.

Clean hotel, small room, awful breakfast ”

Clean room; small space (esp compared to other hotels at this price point). Breakfast was a sandwiches/ham & yogurt (no options). Would not pay for this. Area is a bit seedy on the less busy side of Shinjuku (but short walk to station).

We booked two twin rooms for 4 adults in our family trip in July. However, the hotel said we booked two twin rooms for 2 adults only even this is 2 single beds in room for max 1 adults and then charged the additional fee. Actually, I don't understand the room has two single beds and namely twin rooms, which is the capacity for one adults only. Why don't say it is a single room? Guys, please be careful on your booking next time. Overall, the staff are nice and the rooms are big.

Absolutely great”

After traveling around Japan for 2 weeks, that was the highlight of all the hotels I stayed in. Pretty decent size room, and a great shower. The staff is wonderful. walking distance from Seibu-Shinjuku. Loved it.

Great location with clean rooms and friendly staffs”

Good: - Excellent location - Clean rooms - Very friendly and helpful staff Bad: - Small rooms (but par for the course in Japan) - No laundry service - Included breakfast is more akin to airplane meals

Great staff, welcoming and helpful, fantastic bathroom”

This is a great hotel, all of the staff speak English well and are very helpful in whatever you need, including help booking activities. The bathroom was one of the best, with the toilet and bath separate from each other and the bathroom including large tiled area to wash down similar to onsen. There is a small trick to know that when you open sliding bathroom door, it hides the kettle so I missed out on coffee the 1st morning.

Nice hotel in good area but don't be convinced to stay for the 'free' breakfast”

It was centrally located, in hopping area with good people watching. It was a little bit tired if you looked hard, but we had the 18 sq mtr room and it was fine-you just have to stay tidy and put things in the closet. Staff were lovely and helpful 'Breakfast was pretty much inedible'. They should not bother.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay”

I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Fontaine Shinjuku. it is a little bit far to walk to central shinjuku area but the area is far away from the main seedy areas in kabukicho. Also really near to Donki, do check it out

Best hotel I've ever stayed at!!”

I loved every moment of staying at this hotel. You know you've hit the jackpot when after a tiring day of shopping and site-seeing you cannot wait to return to your hotel room. I went during winter so it was sooooo great that they had such a luxurious bathroom with a huge separate room for showering and bathing. The bath was extremely spacious so much so that it was like going to an onsen. The room was also extremely comfortable and the design was so interesting and smart...it's amazing how much one can fit into a small space and still make it feel roomy. The breakfast was average but who needs free breakfast when you're a stone's throw away from a gazillion restaurants. It's also a 5-10 minute stroll from Shinjuku station. In all, highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to staying here again next time I'm in Japan.

Great location but have walking distance to subway”

The hotel breakfast sent to room from 7.00am, if u go out early, they will not sent the breakfast to u. The lobby just have two seats, was not enough for guest want to online at lobby. Majority hotel in japan no wifi service in room. The toilet looks very nice and i love this hotel. The staff here can speak a little bit english and very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again

Touch of Retro in good location”

good location right near shinjuku so close to restaurants and some funky bars.'akira' look-alike boys are part of the scene of shinjuku - a cross between anime character and spooker. the hotel is small and neat without being a squeeze. the rooms are a good size for japan hotels (which can be tiny). the bathroom is large with a deep bath. staff are helpful and the hotel functions mega smoothly.

Great location and funky rooms”

Don't bother with the breakfast!! The location is perfect and don't believe any reviews that think the area is 'unsafe'. The bed is very comfortable although, as it goes in Japan, the rooms are a bit small. The bathrooms are HUGE and very enjoyable. Unfortunately there is no Wi-fi in the rooms, only in the lobby which is quite frustrating.

Very nice hotel, located in the best part of Shinjuku, just 10 min walk from the Shinjuku Station. Room was very clean and comfortable.Service is good & very helpful, so many restaurant around the hotel.I will highly recommand this hotel.
