all great, abundant amenities, ice dispenser, coin laundry, vending of course as it is Tokyo (city of vendings too), very good location if not the best, as some hotels are adjacent or in the same location with the public transportation, while you can spoil your mouth, neck, and stomach for huge options food around and within 10 min walk distance. English is not wide spoken, but everyone survive.. I will get my family stay here on our next trip.

Great, especially if you like Akiba ”

Great hotel, clean and polite staff. Short walk from nearby subway, and has a few little restaurants nearby, with a few コンビニ to choose from. Overall a great choice for those who intend to stay in the city area or visit Akihabara a fair bit.

Great Stay”

Favourably located near a small market(closes at 7pm), with quite a few convenience stores and food vendors in the roundabouts. It is walking distance to 4 different metro lines, you can visit Ameyoko/Akihibara/Ueno easily. Bedroom was pretty clean, big enough for 2 open luggages. Equipped with basic amentities, they also included an english manual guide for the remotes, as well as food delivery menu options.

Good value for money. Big room. I am actually booking there again soon. My only comment is that I think the bed had bugs because I left with bites on my leg.

Great staff! ”

We stayed here for 4 days with two small children, got a room with two twins and ended up pushing the beds together to create a Queen/King size bed for our entire family to share, since our small one can roll off. Although it was a small space, we used under the bed to store our large 3 luggage bags and stored three book bags in the corner of the room. We loved how convenient the hotel is to the stations and this was a local populated area with great stores and the main strip to Akihabara. The hotel staff were amazing, there was a staff member who clearly cared about here job. We were struggling to get a taxi for our family of four with large luggage bags and she hailed our taxi with ease and translating to the taxi driver where we needed to be to get to the airport. By the way the airport is 40 minutes away a ¥7400 to ¥8000 taxi trip. Either way this was an amazing trip. I personally enjoyed the breakfast, light and suitable for my taste. Great place to stay.

- Room is new and clean but little bit small, can’t open 2 suitcase on the floor at the same time. Bathroom size is OK for Japanese hotel standard - it’s a little bit far from the main station Ueno. Around 20 mins walking distance. - can be quiet at night around the hotel area. Better to walk with someone for girls

Superb Location”

Stay for 2 weeks here because Airbnb cancel my booking. Room very bright, clean and big enough for 2 persons with 2 big luggage. 15 mins by foot to Ueno station, Ueno park, and Ameyokocho. A few subway stations available within 5-10 mins of walking through quiet neighborhood. Really close to a small market and lots of convenience stores/fast food restaurant within walking distance. Coin washing machine and dryer available.

Surprisingly, they serve good coffee from the free breakfast. The room is extremely quiet most of time, and the location is good with 2 subway exits(same subway) nearby. However the room is a bit smaller than expectation, comparing to other VF branch. Thank you.

clean and cozy”

Very comfortable and clean room. Simple but good and nutritious breakfast every morning. The staff does their jobs efficiently although you hardly see them around. No hasle at all and very convenient. Only one thing....too strict on rules about late check-out. Since check-in late at midnite and already gueats for 5 consecutive nights, still cannot entertain late check-out and need to charge halve-day rates for late check-out.

Good hotel in best location”

This hotel is nice in good location, very easy to find and easy to go to downtown. It is very close to Shin-Okachimachi station where you can connect to everywhere in Tokyo. Breakfast is a bit simple but bit too bad. Hotel facilities both of in the room and general are also ok. There is a wifi only in the lobby but the speed is quite fast.

Great hotel, great price”

Hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. Hotel had easy access to metro and train lines. Room was well equipped and clean. Breakfast provided offering excellent value for money by tokyo standards. Internet access provided in lobby along with vending machines for drinks, food etc. Self-service laundry was convenient for long stay.

Good Location”

The hotel was very good, but it's quite far to JR Okachimachi station you need to walk about 10 to 15 minutes, but it has a good location because near to Ueno market but the room was very small and the part that I like from this hotel is if you open the room you can feel the weather because the hotel is open air.

Good Hotel in a nice location”

The hotel is located in a quiet community near three subway stations. It has good staff and a nice lobby. The room is not that small, considering that Tokyo hotels are quite small. The free breakfast is a plus, although it has the same menu everyday. I suggest that the hotel make some variations on the selection. As a whole, I would recommend this hotel considering that it is reasonably priced, with good amenities and in a good location.

walk to hotel was about 15 min. not very convenient but reasonable. Amongst residential vicinity, it is generally quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of crowd cum traffic. within walking distance to Ueno station, almost half hour walk, it allows easy access to JR Shinkansen line cum city subway line. Also close to Ame.... market where fresh crabs, octopus can be purchased. Also rows of sushi shops at low price can be seen and ate to your hearts' content.

Good Value Hotel”

Small business class hotel for about $90 and a 5 minute stroll to Ueno Okachimachi station (Oedo line); you need to get to Ueno station to take the Keisei train to Narita (1,920yen for non-stop 1 hour service). Room was a decent size, bed was a good size double with nice clean sheets and complementary night pyjamas. I would consider the breakfast a decent European spread of pastries, bread and eggs. Bathroom is a fair size with no complaints; I am a large 1.8M man.

Small but perfect”

Amazingly clean and quiet area not far from activity (10-15 mins walk). The shower looked so basic and simple but it was 10 times better than those fancy pretty looking ones. The water pressure and temperature control was perfect. The little touches made all the difference, like the heated mirror, the heated toilet seat, the simple AC (no English but easy to use), clothes freshener, drip coffee machine, kettle, leather slippers, travel adapter and extension (available on request), and any other things you might need available on the ground floor. Cons - The room is small in size and in height - The pillows where a little shallow for my comfort Overall if you are not a tall or large person this is a lovely hotel with walking distance to 4 different metro lines and a night market full of lovely eats and shopping. Also near to other touristy spots like the park with mini shows, petting cafes and many other interesting things.

The hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but just a few minutes walk to the busy Ueno neighborhood. Excellent transportation options: Odeo line metro, Tsukuba Express, and JR at the Okachimachi and Ueno stations. The rooms are clean, albeit a bit worn. The guests who beat up the wallpaper with their suitcases don't help. The shower and bath are spacious by Japanese standards and so is the room. I had view of the Skytree which was nice. The hotel is overall quiet and restful, mostly popular with South East Asia tour groups and families. I lived there for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hotel location was about 10 minutes from the train station, but about 3 minutes from a subway station. One of the female staff at check-in was not very friendly, which is not what I expected in any hotel, especially in Japanese hotels.

The hotel staff was cool and understood English well. Housekeeping was good and the rooms were perfect if you're just looking for a place to lay up the bathrooms were pretty clean too. Although we got a smoking room it didnt smell a think of cigarettes.

Its relatively clean and rooms are big enough for japan. Location is a bit far from a JR station (for those who have a JR pass). The breakfast was nothing special. Lots of convenience store nearby. Its in a very calm area removed from hustle and bustle.
