Je mi 50, cestuji pracovně. Jen jsem vstoupila do Lord Nelson hotelu v Liverpoolu, recepční mě požádal o vydání platební karty. Cože? Odmítla jsem. Hájil se argumentem, že je to prevence proti zdemolování pokoje. Vypadám snad na to? Ptám se. Nedostane se mi odpovědi, ale ještě několikeát zopakuje, že chce kartu. Odmítám. S tím jsem se nikdy nesetkala. Nechce mě pustit dále. Nabízím tedy pas. Rezignuje a zabaví mi tedy pas - dá si ho do šuplíku. Vydá mi klíče od pokoje. Za půl hodiny vyrážím do města. Požaduji pas, s odůvodněním, že jdu do banky. Recepční mi ho mrskne zpět. Když se navrátím do hotelu, už ho nechce. Tento recepční (27/12, večerní směna) jednal protiprávně. Byla jsem znechucena.

I stayed in the hotel after a night out in Town. I had a single room with a comfy bed. The furnishings were basic, but the room had a large tv with Freeview channels, a kettle and spare sockets to charge my phone. There was a modern shower room, which was spacious and clean. Continental breakfast was included, this was in the bar area on the ground floor, and comprised of youghuts, cereals, croissants and toast, with your choice of jams, marmalade or cheese, and as much coffee as I wanted. The staff were friendly. Accessiblity wise, the hotel is situated right in the centre, just behind the back entrance of Lime Street station, by the taxi rank. A 30 second walk, if that. Excellent value for money.

Excellent hotel ”
This hotel is so well located when visiting Liverpool. It is directly opposite the railway station at lime Street. The hotel was very clean with everything you would need for a city centre break. If you are visiting the empire theatre it is a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We met a lady on reception, a lady who was cleaning and a night porter and all three members of staff were a credit to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a couple of nights over the weekend. Excellent location and extremely good value for money. Room was clean with free wi-fi and a large TV. Continental breakfast in the morning. No soap, shower gel in bathroom which can be bought from reception otherwise bring your own. Overall a great stay in a great location and excellent value for money.

Stayed here for the weekend, cudnt believe how close it was to the city centre, the room was clean & spacious for the price less than £120 for 2 nights, it was not complete luxury but it was immaculate with crisp white bedding fast power shower & a breakfast wow wat a bargain, lady on reception nice & chatty, guided us to a cheap parking lot. Would defo recommend & future trips wouldn't go anywhere else, everything on yor doorstep .

Right next to lime st station .. staff very pleasant.. room nice and clean for 2 star … plus had a complimentary breakfast standard but nice … only advice if not a deep sleeper take ear plugs as not double glazing and can hear every bit of noise outside .. but tbf wernt a problem .. would re book again for sure

Three of us girls stayed for one night, the location was great! Weatherspoons was round the corner and lime street train station was also round the corner. There is a taxi rank just outside too! The room was ideal for what we wanted and clean. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying hear again!! Thank you

I always choose this place for our Liverpool trips. Good location and affordable prices. Staff was always helpful and polite with us. Its a simple but clean hotel. Parking can be found in the Liner hotel parking and buses to Anfield are across the road. Liverpool on is within walking distance. Will definitely come again. Thanks

An excellent, if slightly faded hôtel with wonderful staff , confortable beds and generous breakfasts. So I was very surprised when there were no toiletries in the rooms, not even a bar of soap for handwashing. Of course, these were available at reception but it was odd.....as was the single tea bag in the rooms, and it felt a little Oliver Twist-ish to have to go and ask for something to wash with. The local Boots was my first stop to buy what I needed. Luckily it was a short step away.

We stayed overnight for Eagles concert at Anfield. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were lovely and couldn’t be anymore accommodating as I totally forgot to ask for a lower floor but we were given a different room before we had even left reception. The room was a good size, clean, tea & coffee making facilities & towels are all provided. My only niggle would be the swing doors at the top of the stairs are very heavy and quite difficult to open. There are plenty of options available on the continental breakfast in the morning and the staff are more than happy to provide extra hot water so you can have another brew. If we come to Liverpool overnight in the future I will certainly be booking again

The hotel is lovely and clean. The rooms are well decorated & appointed. The bathrooms were excellent. The staff were very helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. A lot better than I expected for the price paid.

Staff are friendly. The room is clean and equipped with sufficient amenities. 10 mins walk to the city centre. Just Wifi is sometimes unstable.

I had stayed at this hotel for three nights. Just a stone throw from Limestry station. I'd booked through Agoda with promo price. Lovely and helpful staff, quite big bathroom, cleaned everyday and they provide kettle with several options of instant coffee, tea, milk and two choices of sugar in sachets. They also provide breakfast include in the price we paid. So, total worth for me. I'll definitely will stay here if I visit Liverpool in the future.

My friend and i stayed for three nights at the Lord Nelson hotel. Its in a great location just a min walk from Lime St station. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was a little dated but clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Excellent value for momey and withon walking distance of all the sights. We really enjoyed our stay and would return .
