Simple and sweet”

Pods were larger than you’d think, plenty of room and everyone was respectful and mindful of others trying to sleep. Showers and lockers are kept clean and water is kept nice and hot for when you come back after a walk around the city! Highly recommend to anyone travelling to japan for the first time on a budget.

Fantastic! I wanted to experience how is like spending the night in a capsule hotel and I was not disappointed at all! It is very clean, the bed was very comfortable and spacious. It didn't feel claustrophobic. It was good but I wouldn't recommend staying for more than two nights in a row. You can't leave anything in your capsule during the day, also it's uncomfortable having to pack & unpack you luggage every time you need to get something. --- ¡Fantástico! Quería saber cómo se siente pasar la noche en un hotel cápsula y la verdad es que estuvo muy bueno. No me arrepiento de haberme quedado para nada. Mantienen el lugar muy limpio. La cama es grande para una persona y cómoda también. No me pareció claustrofóbico. Estuvo bueno, aunque no recomendaría pasar más de dos noches seguidas porque no se puede dejar nada en la cápsula durante el día y es incómodo tener que empacar y desempacar la valija cada vez que necesites usar algo.

Super Comfy but Check-out time is 10am (EVERYDAY) ”

I really liked the concept of the Capsule Hotel, however what I didn’t like, which maybe I missed while booking is that you HAVE to check-out everyday at 10am if you decided to book long-term. I booked it for two days as I was tried of changing hostel everyday, however to my surprise, I was asked to leave at 10am and return at 1pm. Although I was upset, due to lack of sleep, the lady at reception calmed me down and was really nice. Two thumbs up for her. Another thing I liked about the hostel is that they offer Nike Running Shoes to try out. I’m a runner so I tried them out and ran around the Imperial Palace which is lovely. Its a 5km run around the Palace and it was amazing. I slept sooo good! However not sure if I would book it for long term as there are days where one just wants to sleep longer than 10am!

Fun experience but not the greatest sleep. We're used to staying in hotels and thought we'd try out a capsule hotel while we're in Tokyo. The place is very clean and nice staff. Check out was at 10 am.

Very clean and cheap room, capsule is comfortable but smaller than other capsules in Tokyo, with no in-room locker and little storage space inside the room. Good value and decent location for seeing the east side of Tokyo.

better to stay just only one night !!!”

This capsule hostel is the worst hostel I ever stay in Tokyo. Even I booked on Agoda for 4 nights but I still have to check-in and check-out for everyday. It’s mean that you have to check-out before 10AM of each day and then back to check- in after 1PM , So we cannot enter to out pod and our room between 10AM to 1 PM. Furthermore we have to clear our capsule pod everyday so we have to keep every stuff in our capsule pod to locker and locker is too small that my luggage cannot put it on there so we have to leave our luggage in reception everyday. And one things you should know the price in Agoda is not same as when we pay. In each night we have to pay differently some night are higher and some lower , So even we book on Agoda in a low price but when we pay in hostel we pay in another rate that is so unacceptable.

Fantastic Location but not a lot of room in the locker/bathroom ”

First of all the location for this hotel can't be beat! If you love to run, you can't get any closer to the Tokyo Imperial Palace. The location for this capsule hotel is only one or two blocks away. I had a great time going for a run around the outside of the Palace with all of the after work runners that go there every night. This location was clean and the bed was comfortable however the locker room where you change your clothes, store your luggage, use the restroom, and take a shower is way too small and built for the number of capsules that they have on each floor. Even though I was there on a night that wasn't that crowded, it was very frustrating because there weren't enough sinks and no one could even open their bag to pull out what they needed for the night.

Great value for what we paid, nice and clean. First experience of a capsule hotel and couldn't recommend enough. Only about 5 minute walk to Chiyoda east imperial palace gardens which are beautiful, and a couple of minutes walk to the tube station

Great for short stay!”

Hotel is in pristine condition was amenities cleaned every day which means you do have to be out of the hotel while they clean, I did however struggle with fitting everything into my locker, even with just a normal suitcase but did manage. Everything else was perfect!

Great Hotel ”

Aside from its location (slightly far from JR Kanda Station which is one station away from JR Tokyo Station via Yamanote Line), the hotel has very good facilities for a solo traveler. Also, you have to check-out every morning maybe for them to be able to clean your sleeping pod. They will give you set of sleeping clothes, toothbrush, toothpaste, set of towels, and slippers for each night of stay. They have separate bathrooms and shower rooms (good for people who value privacy). I also saw some japanese sleep here and go to their work the next day. Overall this hotel is recommendable to stay.

For the experience I’d recommend this place and it’s also really nice looking. but if you are looking for comfort maybe not and they also don’t allow photos. It can get noisy as there maybe many tourists with large bags everywhere. The locker is also really small so you want to make sure yu have a small bag where you store the clothes you will need for the stay and keep it in the locker. The large bags have to be stored downstairs instead.

Very clean and comfortable ”

I liked everything about my stay. The bathrooms were clean, a secure locker with a QR code for my personal belongings was given and daily fresh towels, toothbrush and even sleepwear (though I did not use it) was provided. The beds were comfortable and spacious and for a capsule room I did not feel trapped or tight. The staff was pleasant enough. The only negative commentary I could say, which is more of a suggestion, is that I hope they invest in giving their guests a microwave to eat and make their first floor more of a public place people can relax or dine in. There’s potential but it’s not there yet. If they had it, this place would be perfect. Overall I give it a 9.5/10

Pros: -Pajamas, Towels and Toiletries are provided - Nice design, feels so futuristic - The hotel feels neat and clean during my stay - Very spacious capsule. Liked the fact that I can sit inside Cons: - The location of the hotel is a bit far from train stations. - There are not much food choices around the area (I ended up eating all my meals in the convenient stores nearby during my entire stay) - Its a bit hot inside the capsule as there are no AC's inside. Had to open the blinds to let some cold air in, but had some difficulties in sleeping from the light outside.

Good for solo light travellers on a short stay”

The place is very clean and located very close to the subway, which makes it easy to get around if you're taking the metro. The pods were a good size for me (I'm just 5" tall) and I can even put my small backpack and stuff inside the pod. I like that free amenity kits are given so we can save packing space. There's also a 7E right round the corner. I would recommend this place for solo travellers who don't have much luggage as there's not much space to put your stuff. Facilities are basic, no kitchen or common area except for some benches near the reception. Also, the daily checkout thing sounds a bit of a hassle. I was there for a weekend trip though so it doesn't bother me. I'd like to come here again for short trips

Very clean, good facilities and very comfortable. Only downside was it was a little noisy from around 5am when people were getting ready and using hairdryers.

About 400m near Takebashi station which lead to Tokyo station, this is a nice place with capsule pod, clean and offer enough facilities

Perfect for solo traveller ”

If you are looking for somewhere clean, safe but cheap to stay in Tokyo, I definitely recommend Nine Hours Takebashi. The location is also fairly good as well. Akihabara, Kanda and Ochanomizu are all within walkable distance. I would say it is perfect for solo traveler on a budget, or simply want to experience living in the capsule.

Value for money Capsule Experience”

Stayed for 3 nights, it was smooth..The place is clean, toilets are clean.. the capsule is very comfortable and spacious.. location is around office areas so it's good if you have business appointments.. as i see many guests who was just there to sleep..as they are on business trips.. there is a 7-eleven nearby.. subway is around 5mins walk.. there is a chinese restaurant next door too so food and beer is fixed..

One of the greatest hostel of this trip”

The hostel provide all you might need, soft tooth brush, wearing clothes, slippers etc. The bed is very comfortable and quite not disturbing other guests. I did not like the soup and shampoo smell but other thing is very very good for this hostel. Also, the Chinese restaurant next to the hostel is very delicious and have very good promotion to try

Good Stay”

Almost identical to the 9Hrs in Shinjuku with minor design variation. Great location, one stop away from main Tokyo station, great for exploring the area (Imperial Palace/ Museums etc) Would most definitely stay again.
