From the reception, to the room, to the facilities, to breakfast area and checked out. Was a smooth transition. However my partner used the gym early morning and found the male changing room was dirty, no towels and toilet were blocked with tissues. However by the time we came back at 9.30am for a swim with our child, the facility was clean on both changing rooms. Some guest do smoke in their room as we can smell weed from our floor. Sad that people does not care the safety of other people. Thank you for our stay.

Hotel is located amongst shops and restaurants, very convenient. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was a little small but still fun for the kids. Only issue is no parking at hotel and no free parking anywhere - all pay parking but malls were cheap to park for 24hrs located 7min walk from hotel.

We were stranded in Reading due to Storm Eunice and blew in from the station. The staff could not have been more friendly. We got a great room at a great price. Food and drink were excellent and well-priced. Breakfast was fabulous and kept us going for a long day of travel. Thanks to all the staff who made us feel loved on what could have been a miserable first night of our holiday

Fab stay however the night life kept us awake as we were staying in a room on the front of the hotel.. spa facilities were clean and relaxing and breakfast was Good.

Great location just by the rail station easy to find. Very friendly staff (Jose) got me an 11am check in which started the weekend off really well. Lovely bar downstairs in the evening and all in all an excellent stay.

Excellent location in the heart of Reading”
The staff are very nice and the location is great. You can do shoppings and put stuff back to the hotel before you go for a meal. Only one disadvantage is that the main door is broken recently. And the alternative exit is hard to open. Make it not straightforward getting into the hotel.

Nice hotel but located in a noisy area ”
Whilst I can’t fault the staff or the facilities, I was kept awake all night by noise from the street. The bed wasn’t all too comfortable but manageable.

Staff are considerate and polite. Met Hind at the reception and she was extremely helpful!! Room was comfortable, location is great! Will stay in Novotel in next visit

Good hotel and Convenient location”
This hotel is located very close to Reading Central railway station - in fact I walked from the station with 2 suitcases. It is also very convenient for Reading centre and for commuting into London. It is clean and comfortable with decent free wifi. It has a swimming pool/spa facilities but I did not have time to use. Would definitely stay here again.

Cheap furniture, tv and bedside lights did not work, standard of inroom coffee making facility from the 60’s, no slippers or decent toiletries and the thermostat was broken so room was hot all night.

Partner catcalled and abused right outside the hotel, staff did nothing, and would stay away from Reading, nasty place in general
