Great Value for money. Highly Recommended ”
After reading other reviews I didn’t have high expectations. But WOW I was pleasantly suprised ! My room was very clean (and I’m fussy) and it was spacious. The pool area was lovely and the grounds very clean and well maintained. The gym was well equipped and sauna area was great - In fact better than most expensive 4 and 5 star properties I have stayed at. Staff were very professional and helpful. Great location and within easy walking distance to Cavil Avenue. The added bonus of free parking is also rare in this area. Very happy and will return.

Great value for money”
We had an enjoyable stay, the staff were pleasant, the free buffet breakfast a nice inclusion (though the addition of bacon would have been nice), great location and we were able to walk everywhere. My only recommendation would be some renovations, mostly just minor cosmetic things, maybe some more comfortable furniture, but mostly the bathroom could use an upgrade. All in all we enjoyed our time!

Had a great stay and definitely will come back here. Cons ordered a cot for the room for our 11 month old but didnt get one but the pro was it was a very big bed that me, my hubby and our baby all fitted comfortably. Last con is the breakfast time, i wish it finished later than 9.30am as we slept in and missed breakfast so we had to buy breakfast out. Definitely booking here again

Great resort in walking distance to surfers paradise centre. Rooms are large with separate bedroom,ensuite.dining area and kitchen. Resort is not new, and some rooms need a facelift but for overall value it can't be beaten. Our suite was clean. tidy. And far more than just acceptable. We have booked here again and have no problems on giving it our highest reccomendation.

Great location ”
I would recommend paying a bit extra and having a room overlooking the river rather than the car park. Room was clean, bed and pillows were super comfortable. Only minus was the airconditining kept turning off but that was probably us. A good comfortable 10 minute walk to the esplanade, restaurants, beach and Cavill Avenue. Will definitely stay here again.

This is our third visit here and we absolutely love coming back, we were remembered straightaway which was lovely and welcoming. We had a high chair ready for us at breakfast, definitely will be back. I even got a letter under the door about the power outage, even though I know everyone got the same letter, it was just good to read my name written on it. We definitely will be back in a couple of months, we will not be going anywhere else we love it here and the staff are so warming and welcoming. Thank you for excellent, welcoming and warm accommodation

All you need for an overnight stay and even for an extended stay if desired. Excellent facilities friendly staff very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I really enjoyed my stay here for overnight business travel and was very impressed with the facilities. Highly recommended accommodation.

Great holiday stay”
Great 1st stay in a 2bedroom apartment on level 4 with my 2daughters and 2grandchildren. Had everything we needed to wash n dry clothes. Home away from home. Lovely deep bath. Mattresses were very old and well slept in so new ones are needed Breakfast was really nice and enough to choose from. Egg n sausage muffins most mornings and yummy potato gems. Lovely staff. Forget about the wifi as it’s not strong enough. Very quiet stay. I will be returning again

Last minute booking and was really happy to stay there. It's not a new building so if you're expecting something flashy, it's not for you. However, with a great location, large room, excellent facilities, free parking and friendly staff; I'll be back and definitely recommending to friends and family..

My birthday holidays”
I spent my birthday in GC last week and my 3 days stay at Paradise Island was really good! The staff were friendly and they will assist you with all your questions. They will address your concerns and will take actions. The Riverview was nice and the place was really relaxing. I just want to suggest if you can have a different variety of foods in your breakfast buffet that would be awesome😅 but other than that it was great! Thanks!

All the staff were so accommodating and help us find somewhere on the property to have our daughter's 1st bday. We will return again, very soon. We love coming here, rooms hace always been clean abd fresh. Love it

Highly recommend this little gem”
Within walking distance of so many attractions and places to eat. Friendly welcoming staff and great facilities. This is obviously an older resort but while we noticed some small signs of age the cleanliness was optimal and I have absolutely no complaint about our stay whatsoever.

I booked the room on line and received an excellent heavily discounted rate. I was very pleasantly surprised when I entered the room to see the sheer value for money. The rate included breakfast, which wasn't the best. However I didn't book the room because of the included breakfast. I will absolutely stay at Paradise Island Resort again next time I have business in Surfers Paradise if I can find the same kind of rate on line.

Affordable Paradise”
Paradise Island Resort is a great place to stay at good pricing. Have stayed a few times and enjoy the pool & river views. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Beach and amenities very near by

I booked this for my Mum as it was near to where I live. Mum and I both thought it was excellent value and had excellent facilities. The room was river facing and had a pleasant outlook. Large, old-style room.

Great spot and value”
Stayed one night for a work event. Great loacation for parking near the tram stop and beach. Clean room and larger then expected. Nice pool area to cool off at. I will stay here next time I come down to the GC.
