Piece of paradise on Earth ”
One of the most beautiful beaches we have seen in SE asia. We stayed on a tent and was perfect. It was clean, very spacious and no mosquitoes, it's not as hot you could imagine. They also have a very nice restaurant with delicious food and huge portions. Also have a bar and packed with hammocks to chill. The jungle truck to get there it's not that hard but you should definitely leave your big bags on Saracen Beach. Thanks to all the staff, we would definitely come back! Paula and Mathias.

This is an amazing property and a fantastic experience. We booked the last available basic bungalow, which meant a short walk to a shared outdoor toilet/shower hut (*there are bungalows with private toilets and showers available). There is no hot water, but it didn’t take long to figure out that a room temperature shower is available in the mid- to late-afternoon. The food in the onsite restaurant is top notch, and be aware: the portion sizes are huge! If you’re so inclined there is a nice little beach bar near the water with cheap beer and reasonably priced, strong cocktails. Best of all, of course, is the idyllic Sunset Beach location. Great sand, lots of comfy, shaded seating just back from the beach, and clear, warm water for swimming. Be aware that you have to hike into the property from Saracen Bay. The hike takes approximately 25 minutes and there is a short stretch that requires caution (and a reasonable level of fitness), but there are guide ropes on that stretch so it’s safe. Also, the site is pretty much off-the-grid, so there is no data or wifi - which is part of the charm. If you absolutely must connect to the internet you can take a short walk (like 3 minutes short) up the beach to Sunset Adventures. There you can sip one of their outstanding smoothies or fruit juices while you jump onto their wifi for a bit. But hopefully you don’t feel the need to don’t feel the need too often, because being set free from your phone is part of what makes Robinson Bungalows so special. Highly recommended. Staying at Robinson Bungalows was such a great experience, from the sporty trek through the jungle to get to sunset beach (dont take your big bag and leave it somewhere on the other side of the island if you can) to the beautiful location it was close to paradise. The food at Robinson was delicious and cheaper than the rest of the other places on sunset beach. The staff were great and they even had furry help (2 dogs and 2 cats love them! Say hi to Nathalie for me ;)). We stayed in the small bungalow for a few nights which was clean and convenient but there wasnt a fan (it's the case almost everywhere on sunset beach) and it was very hot at night. We also stayed in a tent which was slightly cooler and had a built in mosquito net which came in handy (the bungalow just had a mosquito net around the bed). There were A LOT of mosquitoes and we ran out of spray after a couple of days, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking enough spray for your stay unless you want to get bitten 5 times while going to the bathroom. Otherwise it was a beautiful time at Robinsons.

This is a lovely family run place on the edge of the water on the quiet side of the island. If you are happy with basic you will love it. Bathroom is shared but always clean. We had a tent which literally opened up with an uninterrupted view to the sea. Super peaceful, easy to do activities like snorkelling and paddle boarding etc. great staff, incredible Khmer food and good vibes!

Amazing place (that has to be earned a small trek through the jungle from Saracen Bay) ! Staff is cool and helpful, rooms are nice and spacious, bathrooms are clean ! I spent good time here ! Thank you !
