Very clean and location is great. ”
We stayed for 6 days and loved our spacious room. I arrived early from my flight and they let me check in early so I can relax and start working. The facilities are great, they make great coffee and the food is amazing at the Walnut Restaurant. The place is a bit dated in regards to decoration but well maintained. Outside and underground carpark available and unlimited use of wifi. We loved our stay here! The tablet to ask for requests was a nice touch and loved the bathroom 💕 Bed was very comfortable too! Location is great and a few minutes walk to everything.

Wow - great hotel”
As we were arriving on Australia Day evening we pre booked a table for two in the Walnut restaurant to be sure we would be able to get a meal. In the event we arrived a little late and reception sorted our room quickly and assured us our restaurant booking would be ok. We got tour our room which overlooked the Botanical Gardens , was very large and had two double beds. The room was brilliant and had plenty of USB points for our phones etc. There was even a recycling rubbish bin which I thought was clever. The meal in the restaurant was excellent with a good wine selection. The hotel facilities were excellent and the pool in the garden was large and also good. The hotel generally has kept it's old style elegance coupled with modern facilities. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotels location is brilliant, next to the Botanical Gardens, close to the centre, close to Eagle Street Quay both for bars and restaurants. Suffice to say i have already booked for next year

Excellent hotel”
We stayed just before covid and have had to cancel twice because of covid. We arrived mid afternoon and were checked in quickly even allowing for covid rules. The Royal was as expected, large rooms, comfortable bed, excellent restaurant, great location looking across the botanical gardens to the river and probably the best pool in a CBD hotel. Also very close to CBD bars and restaurants. We are already booked in for our next visit.

I thought this hotel was outstanding value for money considering its location across from the botanical gardens, ease of locating it, close proximity (150 metres) from the river where we were able to see the Storey Bridge New Years Eve fireworks. Who could ask for more! The hotel staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely return and recommend it. My daughter was hard to drag out of bed each day and wanted to take the cloud mattress home......

Perfect Location”
Across the road from the beautiful Brisbane Botanical Gardens with a .5Kms stroll thru the gardens to the lovely River Stage. The Walnut Restaurant was excellent - the best oysters we've ever had and the steaks & pasta we're sublime.Will check in again next time we're in town.

Convenient and clean ”
Very nice comfortable accommodation that’s clean and convenient to the city, gardens and riverstage. Rate was very reasonable when we booked. Will definitely stay again when the price is right.

I’ve been staying at Royal on the Park on and off for 15 years. The staff are always lovely and helpful, the food is delicious, and it’s close to the city but not smack bam in the middle so it’s not overly rowdy. Absolutely love this place.

Girls weekend. ”
We loved the twin queen beds, they were a bit hard but still ok. Absolutely loved the old world charm. The staff were friendly and very helpful all round. Buffet breakfast was great and loved the High tea in the Walnut restaurant. Will definitely be staying again.

Lovely old hotel with character. We had free parking and a complimentary bottle of wine, a very competitive room rate in the centre of Brisbane. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location ”
The hotel is in a great location and there’s much to like about. We got a deal with the parking included which made it extra value to stay there. We only stayed 1 night but I’d have been happy to stay far longer.

Leafy views, old style charm”
The Royal stands out as a great option if you’re in Brisbane. It has lots of space around it and overlooks the Botanical Gardens. It is a little dated, but maintains its charm. Spacious rooms with comfy beds and good technology. It’s also good to be able to use the stairs instead of relying on lifts. There’s a pool and a gym. The breakfast is good and the bar is a quiet spot for a drink before you go out or for a nightcap. This is a Brisbane treasure, a great place to stay!

Located in an easy to get to part of the city. Rooms are a little old but clean and in good condition. Parking on site is good too. Would be more than happy to stay there again.
