Two nights in Saint Leonard's”
The hotel is in a brilliant position, we had a room with sea view which I highly recommend. To be able to sleep with both windows open and to enjoy the fresh sea air at nights was a bonus s was the view of the sea nd beach in the morning.Good bed, clean fresh towels each dayanf parking.Very enjoyable.

Stayed here once before in 2018. The hotel is warm and inviting with staff who go out of their way to help. The rooms are large and well equipped although some of the furniture looks like it needs at bit of TLC in places but that would not deter me from returning. The restaurant has a great range of food and you can also order food from the bar and it is very good. The restaurant also serves breakfast, full English or otherwise, a great start to the day if you include this in your booking. The location is wonderful with amazing views over the promenade and sea. The hotel is nearly 200 years old so be prepared for some creaky floorboards although I think this just adds to its charm.

We booked a standard room but it was very spacious with an additional office area. It was also a sea view room, and the hotel’s location is its best asset as it’s right on the seafront. It looked like the room itself had been refurbished recently but the bathroom looked a little tired. It was however very clean

Excellent Location”
We stayed 2 nights on our 26th Marriage Anniversary in late April and found the Royal Victoria Hotel as one of the best locations in Hastings and also enjoyed a special Afternoon Tea with variety of cakes that made our anniversary more special. Room is generous with Victorian style high ceilings and Staffs are very friendly.

Great position only 10 minute walk from St Leonard's station. Room although at The back a very pleasant surprise, small separate seating area, nice view of hills and Masonic Hall, beds very comfortable and very quiet, ate in restaurant overlooking the sea, lovely meal and breakfast

We stayed here last weekend as we were visiting family in the area. The room was larger than expected and I slept very well. Whilst the cooked breakfast ingredients were good quality they weren't hot. We went down at 8.30 am.

Nice pleasent stay.... ”
Great hotel, very well presented and friendly staff. However my issue was when I booked the hotel roughly a month before arriving I requested a large bed. When I arrived in the room it was a small double bed. When I asked the receptionist I was advised they were very busy and that is the largest available at that time. I would of appericiate it if I had been given this communication prior to arriving.

Great location a bit overpriced great grand staircase old and tired but I still love going there for a break with my wife.Breakfast finished to early for me and not that great last time I tried it. Prefer to use local cafes. Great pubs for evening food nearby. Sea opposite hotel and free parking in road.

The location was superb. It was just infront of the beach. You can even hear the waves crashing before you go to sleep. The room was spacious than expected, so my little one can play as much as he can. The bathroom was sparkingly clean. The beds were nice as well. It was just before we checked in, we were 10 minutes earlier and we were brushed off by the receptionist and told us to come back, so we waited in the lobby for a bit. At 2.05pm, I went to the reception again and asked if we can now check in. Without a care, she just said "Booking.com is at 3pm" looking irritated at me. She just assumed I used another party to book. I felt embarassed for even asking, like I was stupid for not looking at the check-in time. I just said, I booked at Agoda and in there it was said 2pm is the check in time. Only then, she asked for my name and checked our room. This is my first time to encounter such treatment. Although the subsequent receptionist was much friendlier and accommodating when we were ordering our breakfast. The f&b assistant was also very hospitable when we were having breakfast.
