The location of the hotel is not only convenient for airport access but it is just 5 minutes away from Namdeamun Market. Very happy with the choice of the hotel. Got the superior room and was very to see that it wasn't cramped. There was a long sofa type seat in the room but what I loved was the long bar type/table. It was very convenient to put stuff on the table. The room is very clean and the housekeeping staff were friendly. The check-in was smooth, even though we arrived past midnight. We were expecting mail for us and the hotel kept them until we checked-in. The front desk immediately gave it to us without us having to ask for it. Very happy and will stay here in next visits to Korea.

All pros for this hotel! The lobby was clean and spacious and the staff were all friendly. Rooms were big plus we got a free upgrade! Beds were spacious and clean. The toilets had complete amenities (plus a bath tub). Room was cleaned daily and supplies (tissue, soap, bottled water) were replenished daily. The location was also ideal as there were many surrounding restaurants/cafes/convenience stores and was close to all transportation services. The airport bus stop is only a few meters away. It was also close to Myeongdong but not too close where it is crowded and noisy. I would definitely return to this hotel again and I highly recommend it to anyone who is picky when it comes to hotels.

Helpful Receptionist Staffs”
We arrived at the hotel around midnight, and check in process was quick, so we can rest in our room right away. On our second night, my friend dropped his clutch in the taxi when he got off near the hotel. We were panicking because his passport, money and credit cards were all inside that clutch. The midnight staffs at the receptionist quickly help us to file a report to the police. They also informed us on how to reach the Embassy to make a temporary passport. Luckily, the taxi driver was honest, he called the hotel receptionist to ask if my friend was a guest of the hotel or not, and he was willing to come back to the hotel to return my friend's clutch. The receptionist staffs were awesome!

A hidden jewel in Seoul ”
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel for several times now. First the airport limousine bus stop is located within walking distance to the hotel. There's also a famous eating street within 5 minutes walk from the hotel, which also housed the famous " SCBD tofu chigae restaurant" to just name a few... The room that I have booked this time was also excellent as to say! It was very spacious and even had it's own enoki bath tub. This hotel is also located within 10 minutes walking distance to the Myeongdong shopping area and 5 minutes walking distance to the Nandaemun market. Perfect for "Seoul Searching!"

Great location, room and staff”
I stayed for 2 nights in a double room. Great room size, nice tub, plenty of electrical sockets, The hotel is conveniently located to two subway stations. There are plenty of cafes, 711 and restaurants around the hotel. Myeongdong is is walking distance about 10-12 mins. The staff were very helpful and accommodating as they allowed me to check in early when I arrived at 12pm (I was prepared to leave my luggage and go exploring till check in time 3pm) and check out late at 2pm. Highly recommended.

Really good value. The staff were kind to me. The room temperature was good. My room looked clean and so did the hotel. It was not soundproof so I could hear some noises from other rooms. Not loudly but it might bother some people. I just felt a little jealous! Haha.

Clean and very polite”
As I've expected the places were very clean, staffs were polite and most importantly it was very close to everything, 10mins walk to Myeongdong shopping area, 5mins walk to subway station and once you got on subway station line 2, its 10mins away from Hongdae!! I would definitely visit here again

This hotel is for everyone who likes beautiful, clean and simple interior design. The Onsen-style bathtub was more than a nice plus. Really loves the stay and will definitely choose this hotel again!

Excellent hotel with great staff”
- Small bath tub (hinoki wood) was really nice and we enjoyed so much although the size was quite small. - It’s clean and new hotel with staff greets guest with hospitality. - It is located at a bit isolated area and less convenient to access by public transportation. But all the major touristic places and shopping area is 10~20 mins distance. - The parking is KRW 10,000/24h for hotel guests. They don’t have many parking lots at B2 and B3. - Overall, It is a superb hotel and you don’t have much to complaint if you stay.

Great New Hotel!”
We had a great stay at Sotetsu the Splaisir Seoul Meong-Dong. The hotel looks new and very clean, and the staff were very courteous, helpful and accommodating. Its a very short walk to the commercial area of MeongDong, and easily accessible by subway, bus or taxi. Food were available all around the hotel vicinity, and one can find many cafes and variety of restaurants within a few meters of the hotel. There were 24-hour convenience stores just a few meters of the hotel (3 of them), so looking for one's necessities is not a problem. Highly recommended!

Is near to Myeong dong street with walking distance 5-7mins away. Room is big ,clean and mattress is comfortable. Can improve for hotel breakfast, currently is only limited choice. Will come back again!

The hotel is easy access to public transport to and from the airport. It is also easy access to shops and palaces. Staff can converse well in english. Rooms are well maintained not to say very good internet

Great Location and Is Near Airport Bus and shopping area”
The hotel overall looks nice. Less than 5 mins walk from bus stop to hotel. Hotel staff are very helpful and also allow us to have early check-in at around 12pm. So we do not need to wait until 4pm as they have availability rooms. They also offer us free upgrade too which is very sweet from them. Hotel is walking distance to MyeongDong shopping street, City Hall station and Hoehyeon Station. Very convenient. A lot of restaurant and opposite bus station is Namdaemum market. We will recommend this hotel again and will love to stay again when we visit seoul again. Thanks for everything!

My 3rd stay!! Coming back next year!!”
We love the Japanese cypress bathtub in our room. Thanks to that, We could enjoy Japanese hot spring in the comfort of our own room. Within 2 minutes walking distance is the famous food street. It is also 5 minutes walking distance to Myeongdong shopping area. It’s our 3rd time staying here and would definitely be back next year!!

Good accomodation and location”
We enjoyed our stay in Sotetsu Hotels. We didn't encounter any problems with check-in considering we came in at 3 am. The hotel staff are all very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The location is also very good. Nandaemun market is very near the hotel and there is a convenience store beside the hotel. Myeongdong and Namsan tower is also a good 15 mins walk. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, value for money”
We got a free upgrade as we celebrated our anniversary, and stayed there for the second time. The rooms are clean. Bed feels good, though the pillows is too soft for my liking. The wooden tub is smaller than a standard bath tub. The room feels a bit stuffy, but we were able to open the screened window for air circulation. The room is also a bit dry, but we managed to borrow a humidifier from the reception and that worked out great for us. There are floors with Line Friends decorated rooms (we didn’t stayed there though). Towels were clean, but there is a little bit of a bleach scent. We had an issue with the toilet, and the staff immediately resolved it. Apparently, it just needed some battery change.
