Taj is located in a clean and safe neighbourhood.The customers service is excellent from the receptionist to the cleaning lady.I would definetly stay there again and again.

At the special Internet rates Pamodzi is Good Value for money - however 1. the Internet at Pamodzi is always up and down + its very slow at times cannot make WhatsApp calls 2. Shower the HOT Water is always warm and not very hot / boiling 3. Water pressure in the Shower is very poor

If you can find a good deal because this place is expensive it is well worth it. The hotel is classy with a late breakfast and staff have allowed me an extra couple of hours before leaving for the airport. Comfy room, clean, staff are very helpful and courteous - the Indian food is also great - a gem of a place

Sometimes, being a solo business traveler can be lonely. Despite that status, the Taj Pamodzi Hotel made the trip pleasant and very productive. To relax, I appreciate the "Steaks and chops" restaurant. The menu featured tasty fish and soups in addition to the headline items. Staff were gracious. The live band, with instrumental jazz (saxophone, drums and guitar) and a live singer with a mixture of Zambian and western music made for a great evening. Patios and other empty spaces provided opportunities for quiet discussions with colleagues. The opening time of the health club at 5:30 am made it available even before an early morning flight!

Comfortable and accessible business hotel”
Pleasant staff, although the concierge service is quite lacking and they do not revert in respect of requests made. Rooms and bathrooms could do with an update.

Good Hotel”
This is a good hotel for a business traveller. The facilities don't however quite reflect the acclaimed five star hotel status. When you compare it with other 5 star hotels it would certainly come short but can do well as a 4 star hotel.

Over rated and highly priced hotel”
Rooms are average nothing wort singing about. I stayed in Taj Pamodzi 3 years ago and it's seems a bit tired now. Over rated on price due to bring Taj group. Internet slow, cuts off now and then, being business hotel it should be a bit better. Staff very polite and service quite fast. I stayed 3 nights with my trade delegation so had to stay there. Given the choice I would have preferred else where as pricing for the same type of room would be cheaper. I don't mind paying the Taj rates but in return I would expect the quality too which it lacked when it came to rooms.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. front desk personnel were great, but Service generally was slow and also "hit and miss" - staff would forget about requests made, it took really long to get a taxi called, housekeeping left my door standing open after cleaning. On the whole, a good stay, but service could be improved.

Overall good. However the administration was not very helpful when asking for proof of stay; which is really needed in my case for audit purposes as this was a business trip. What can I do to get one?

Very accommodating and friendly staff”
The stay was very comfortable and the services and amenities offered by the hotel made our trip much easier. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The restaurants were ok, and rather expensive for the quality. The best part of the stay was the weekday band that sang a variety of old italian serenades with a mix of Johnny Cash...they were very pleasant and rather quirky.

This hotel is well managed: superb service, good food, exceptional fitness facility. The hotel is a bit old but once you are inside, the staff makes all the difference. Cant say enough about the quality of the service I received.

Possibly one of the worst Taj properties”
- The hotel workers were on strike and room service and even service at the restaurant was terrible - I was charged an arm and a leg for the transport to the airport because their regular shuttle didn't work - The room's are old and poorly designed. There are three series of steps once you enter and chances of you tripping and falling in the dark/night are extemely high

The experience was good as usual. However, I am going to sound like a broken record because same problems persist in this hotel every time, internet connection that I pay for and 90% of the time its not working, and the food quality is really below average considering the class of the hotel.
