A comfortable stay”
We were there for 4 days and 3 nights. THe room was small but manageable. THe staff were good and they provided us with clean sheets and towels daily. No housekeeping services were available due to covid, but we were fine with that. We took the bus everywhere we went since the bus stop was just right in front of the hotel. Train stations we located fairly close. Restaurants were available and there was a 24hours Tesco Express which was very convenient. Having young children, that was my go to when i needed something urgent. Breakfast was average.

Great Customer Services ”
Gavin and his team was great, they offered a very big family room in a very quiet part of the hotel. The stay was very comfortable, location was great and many places to eat nearby.

Good value for money. It does not have parking but you can park 24hrs for just £10 and the parking is just around the corner from Travelodge.

Clean and simple ”
Hotel is centrally located , (tarrif Street carpark prebooking is recommended as the best IMO) Its on a busy road but we didn't find this an issue, with the window shut there was no issues and we had a good nights sleep, room was clean , tidy, comfortable bed, and had good water pressure in the shower (this is everything to me) . Staff were nice and helpful and it had really good bar prices for a hotel. Its not luxury but it Met all our needs and we felt safe and comfortable there . We'd visit again , rates are really really good.

Nice Stay”
I was 4 nights, the stay was good, The staff Jamie was a great helper at nights and very nice to chat with at the bar. large room, tv, cattle, etc. the location is great, restaurants, pubs, shops, stores, and live venues around. The only thing I noticed is not telephone in the room to call to reception. Breakfast good, I will suggest to place some range of cheese, at the moment is not cheese on breakfast. Great value for money. Definitely I will go again.

Solid budget hotel”
Friendly staff and great location in the northern quarter, with quick access by walking to places like Picadilly for transit, or Arndale for shopping. Depending on what room you get, it'll range from small to standard for a hotel. Hotel is generally clean but one day during my stay the hot water wasn't working for pretty much a day, which was annoying as you can imagine. Otherwise it's a solid hotel, nothing fancy, but the price is right and the location is good. Great place if you're intending to be out and about in the city most of the time (as I was) - if you plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel, though, you'll probably want to look for something more upscale, or that at the very least has free, fast wi-fi beyond the 30 minutes/day that is included.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. Very quiet in hotel and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to Northern Quarter. Lots of great bars and places to eat. Walking distance to Manchester Arena.

Great location for weekend stay”
The Travel Lodge Ancoats is in a great location 3 mins walk from Picadilly gardens with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. The hotel was reasonably comfortable, does need a little tender loving care. ie around the windows need painting. room good size. bed reasonable. Towels large. Was a quiet floor but sleep disturbed by traffic throughout the night. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. the breakfast is really good quality and great price. Would definitely consider this hotel for next stay.

This hotel is in the perfect location and real value for money. The area has lots to do nearby. The reception and bar staff were very friendly and great all round service 👍

Great place!! Very nice staff! Unlike the ones in Carlisle Central who are absolutely rude and abnoxious! They could learn a thing or two from the sfaff at this hotel!!

Great location, good value for the money paid. However room was not hoovered at all, dirty tea cup was left on the desk and there was no shower gel in the bathroom. It's great facilities in the room, we had family double , long dressing desk with TV, spacious room double bed and two singles, very small bathroom - toilet, sink and shower only. We arrived very late and stayed only one night so we did not address any cleaning issues. However its prett obvious that who ever cleaned the room did not do any good job.

Took my three young kids over for few days and was very impressed. The staff were lovely and very helpful, the hotel itself was spotless, location 10min walk to Picadilly gardens and train station. Will be back ! Thank you !
