Great place and great location for a good price”
Enjoyed our stay. The owner was lovely and accommodating. Place is a great location, 10 min walk to center. Reasonable price as well. Parking may be an issue if you're coming with a car but was quickly solved

Great location, and a good nights sleep”
No breakfast available due to covid. Great location , close to city centre. Very limited parking as mostly residents permits only. Room was comfy and clean and en suite shower was powerful.

The room is small, but it is quite comfortable. It is better to provide tissue in the room. However, the electric kettle is very dirty, much sediment inside the kettle and it is difficult to clean.

Cosy single room in great location”
The room I stayed in was small and cosy with an ensuite shower. It was perfect for me. The bed was comfortable I slept well. The breakfast was nice, I didn't realise the seating arrangements to begin with. There are 2 tables so you seat yourself at one or the other with strangers. This made me feel a little uncomfortable but it was fine. The staff are friendly and polite and the b&b is secure with an automatic locking front door. My bedroom had a lock too. Location was great it was a 10 minute walk into the centre.

Extremely small room and bathroom. Our room was in the attic with 36 stairs to climb, way too many for 70 year olds. No car parking . Plus was that it was within walking distance of the city centre ( if you are capable of walking 25 minutes) . Another plus was the old pub nearly opposite with a similar name , the proprietor allowed us to park the car there for free if we had some meals there , which we did and they were excellent. Breakfast was good but an extra 7 pounds each.

Great location to explore Oxford!”
I stayed two nights at this guesthouse. The room was cosy, very clean, and equipped with the necessary amenities. The owners were very nice and helpful. The guesthouse is 15 minutes walk to the city centre, with different must-see places on the way. There is a Tesco within a walking distance (5 mns). I definitely recommend it!

Warm temporary stay”
Initially my room's heater was broken, the room was cold, but the staff changed another room for me, and he was nice, he helped me to print my stonehenge e-ticket and offered a free breakfast the next morning.

Lovely decor and hosts, good location, Cold room, bed not comfortable. ”
Upon arrival seemed nice with accommodating hosts and lovely décor. Temperature outside got down to 40F and there was no heat in the house. Heard other guests complaining but not sure if it was selected rooms or the entire facility. Heat was turned on the next day and then like a sauna. The mattress on my bed was broken down on the side from people sitting on it, and I had a hard time staying on it, although the two layers (plus the duvet )of blankets the first night did help to stabilize a bit. I did not get a good rest here.

Wouldn't recommend ”
I was a solo traveller and I booked a double room. This ended up being two single beds placed next to each other, which defeated the purpose of getting a double room in the first place. In addition, the beds were not comfortable. The room was very warm and no fan was provided. The shower head in the toilet was also not working properly. The walls were thin and I could hear the neighbour having a hard time opening and closing the door (which was what I had experienced as well). The wifi was also constantly dropping.

Excellent location and great host”
It was raining when we arrived but we had a warm welcome from the host Sue. There is limited car parking but we managed to squeeze in. The location is excellent as it was only 10 mins walk to Bowness and the lake cruises and about 20 mins walk to Windermere town centre. So there was no need to drive anywhere really. Our board included breakfast, which was a wonderfully cooked full English breakfast with plenty of toast and also cereals and yogurth with fresh fruit available too. Room was small but clean and ok. We walked to Windermere town centre for dinner and later on to Bowness for the lake cruises to Lakeside and the Hathwaite railway line, where we took a privately run steam engine train to Hathwaite station. Had a short hike and some ale and a nice hot dog at the station before taking the cruise back. Excellent half a day. Overall, fully recommended establishment with good activities in the area.

English Hospitality Excellent”
Our trip to England was on a budget so we chose to stay a little outside of town to save some money. The walking was a bit much for me but no problem for my 20 year old son. The accommodation was quite nice. Having a bathroom ensuite was perfect. The beds were a bit lumpy but I slept well. Loved that this was in a rather quite neighborhood for its proximity to a major road through Oxford. Breakfast was excellent, hot and nice dining area. The staff were polite and accommodating and the room was always clean. Overall very satisfied.

It's a bit far from city centre. But you can take a bus there. There is bus stop right outside the guest house. I was a bit scared because you have to call the host to get in, and I had no local phone number to call. I asked a passerby to help. The host was nice and helped me take up the luggage. Everything was alright.

Great central location”
Central location, less than a 10 minute walk to the high street. Very clean, quiet, and good breakfast service in the morning. Wifi is very slow and drops out a lot.
