Second stay here, this time in the midst of the coronavirus (mid Feb’20) so was the only guest in the 4 capsule room on upper floor. First night I had the upper capsule (much more awkward than the lower ones). The USB charger didn’t work so they moved me down to the lower capsule for next 2 nights with an apology. Maybe because it wasn’t so busy my second stay but given the location (in Chinatown) was surprised at how quiet it was. Bathrooms clean and working fine. Good showers. Fluffy towels. My only ‘mild’ dissatisfaction was breakfast BUT ONLY because I’m a plant based picky eater who wants oatmeal, seeds and soy milk of which there was none. There was however toast, jams, watermelon, noodles, cornflakes or 2 other cereals, hard boiled eggs, coffee as thick as oil ☺️, tea and plenty of water. Be aware that the early airport transfer at 06.45am doesn’t happen on a Saturday so you’ll need to take a Grab ($20). Overall really happy: would recommend and would stay again too. Tx Cube!

Booked this accommodation for my elderly dad. Reception and housekeeping were very helpful, patient in every possible regard, from helping to ensure lower cubicle requests were met, to little things like laundry services. The place is well-equipped to meet all basic needs of travellers - charging points, sufficient storage space etc. Cubicles and toilets were very clean. Breakfast was pretty grand and sumptuous by most standards. Location-wise, very centralised, easy to get to places, including the airport. My dad is quite pleased to even have his stay extended here which he did. Definitely recommend. Would come back again. Thank you!

Great little hotel”
My boyfriend and I always wanted to stay in a capsule hotel, and this one looked really nice. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are very clean, and the beds were so comfortable. The temperature was just right despite not being able to control it in the pod itself. The location was perfect and was situated right in the middle of everything in Chinatown. Even nicer was that it is next to a Michelin star hawker that opened restaurant locations! Overall, a great stay!

I love how this location was in Chinatown as it is one of my favorite places in Singapore. The property was clean, nice breakfast buffet and you dont have to worry that you will ran out of available bathroom as there are a number of those in the hotel. And i love that i get to do my laundry here for free because I ran everyday and I need to make sure that they were clean and dry before i roam around the city. Definitely a perfect choice.

5 mins walk from Chinatown MRT station (exit from SMITH street) Food & shopping around. Clean quiet dormitory & friendly staff. Room comes with free breakfast. Capsule equipped with roller curtain for privacy , bath towel , toothbrush & a bottle of water. Individual shoe cabinet are provided for you to remove your shoes before going into the dorm. Individual luggage space with card access are under each bed. Bed is comfortable and will definitely recommend them to friends.

I love Cube Boutique Hotel, Chinatown!!! We're very satisfied and happy that we stayed here for our last day in Singapore. It exceeded our expectations. Though it was a bit pricey compared to other capsule hotels but I think it's worth a penny. The location was superb, staff was helpful, facilities was nice (especially the mattress-it was very comfy-, although it's a shared bathroom it was very good because it's separated individually which is a plus and it is well maintained unlike other hotels. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my family and friends. I would definitely stay here if ever I'll visit Singapore again 🙂 See you again soon! Keep up the good work and more power!

The cubes are nice and clean, with lots of amenities, shelves, multiple plug points, towel rack etc. Lockers can be opened and closed with your room key which was helpful if you don't have a padlock. The aircon was good, it never felt stuffy in the pods, even with the blind closed. The property is right by Chinatown MRT which is great for getting everywhere in Singapore.

I've been in the Cube Boutique Capsule Hotel Chinatown for 3 nights and I couldn't be happier. I was coming from Malaysia with bus and a trip that should be just 5h became 12h. From the begining the Hotel was so nice with me and my couple, who arrived 4h earlier than me, and even we still didn't check in (the booking was on my name) they allowed her to go to the cpasule to wait for me due was quite late (I arrived at 12:45am). When I arrived the check in process was quick and easy, they gave the card and the password just after I can see my couple. The capsule was new, modern, clean and very comfortable. We slept like babies. The common areas the same, toilets and shower just great and very nice (the last day I even ask my couple "extra time" to enjoy the shower). The breakfast was ok, actually I think it was short on variety this is the only BUT to the Hotel. The staff awesome: helpfull 24h, attentice and really smilley. The check out smooth Definetly we'll comeback!

Out of different cubes I have stayed at, this is by far the favourite. Clean, comfy and a good price. Temperature of room is nice and cool. It is hygienic. I stayed in a queen size bed cube with my boyfriend and it was a good size, also came with towels and a water. You are able to put luggage in room with you so it is secure, I had a fat suitcase and it was able to fit under aswell. Watermelon for breakfast. Board games for entertainment and in a central location in China 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Big up yourself cube!!

Great and amazing location”
This was our first capsule hotel and we loved it. We booked the premium queen suite for 2 people. The room we stayed in was quiet and not much noise which was nice. Our capsule was at the very end so we had a ‘window’ and it wasn’t too hot in our capsule. The private bathroom was generally good but most of the time we went was wet. The communication with the staff was excellent and replied back to us straight away. Would definitely book again, especially for the location and the food in Chinatown and Maxwell Hawkers centre. Amazing!

Clean place, my cube was nice and clean. The staffs were all friendly and giving good advice on how to get to places. Would stay again as the location was great with many restaurants near by and the MRT is only a few minutes away. Would love to come again when I visit Singapore .

Right in the middle of Chinatown and close to everywhere”
This place was perfect as it is located in Chinatown, right next to the MRT (Downtown Line), that takes you every where. It is a very good place to stay if you're a lone traveller on a budget, and you get what you pay for, a capsule for you to sleep, where you can also charge your phone and have your safe. The only not so positive point was the breakfast, where you only had watermelon, bread, cereals and noodles. People are nice, and the place is cozy and as a cool look. For sure recomended

I wanted to experience a capsule, and I did a lot of research before I decided this place. They give my friend and I a top capsule because I didn't specify which location I wanted. It was fun climbing the metal ladder to our fairly spacious, clean capsule for two. Imagine a nice, fancy hotel room that is taken apart and placed in different parts of a hotel within close proximity with areas (bathroom, dining, and lounge) you share with other guests - cube boutique. The space to move around is limited to walking around, sitting and sleeping based on the compact place. There are places to lock your belongings. And you have to be considerate of your neighbors (staying quiet) in the sleeping and lounge area since there are no doors. They provided complimentary Singaporean breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is where the Chinatown street food is located, and close by to other sightseeing locations. I, personally, would come back again and stay here. I enjoyed my short stay.

Great modern cube concept!”
Booked for one night, ended up staying for 3! Stayed in a queen capsule which was very comfortable and private and felt safe with key-card accesses doors. Was worried might be noisy from other reviews but apart from people arriving in the night it was very quiet in the cubes and we slept well. Large locker under the bed which fitted in both our large cases. Free washing machine and dryer is a big bonus. Clean facilities and cube and towels. Shower rooms could be cleaned more often - lots of hair in plugs and bath mats were always dirty from shoes, also nowhere to dry hands after using toilet (could install hand dryers?). Breakfast fine, coffee not bad, bar prices good for Singapore, check out not until 12 so no rush. Good location in Chinatown above Hawker Chans (didn’t enjoy eating here) and close to atm, metro and walkable to lots of places. Overall, really happy especially for the price in this expensive city.

Brilliant clean boutique hostel, great location right next to the MRT station in Chinatown. ”
Really nice boutique hostel, bout a 5 min walk (or less) from the China town MRT. (Which is great for getting around Singapore, takes about 15/20 mins to get to gardens of the bay). Hostel it's self is clean and cool. The pods are pretty spacious and you can lock all your luggage underneath your pod. Breakfast is basic, but good. Just toast some cereal egg. Staff are friendly and can help with anything, on the last day my flight wasn't until very late, so I left my bag there all day and then came back and had a shower. Perhaps the only mildly annoying thing is the pods themselves don't have direct air con, but it's easily solved by having your blind/door only have way rolled down. Overall, a brilliant place and great value for money! I would definitely recommend.

Good location for budget travellers”
Bed was very comfortable and our capsule was very private. Free water on arrival. Plenty of secure luggage storage below our capsule. Nice bar area at reception. Some showers seemed a little old and not very clean. Other showers were newer and very clean.

My greatest capsule experience”
Everything but space is luxurious here. The beds are comfortable and clean. Toilets are clean and you have your own private bathroom (very important). Breakfast is pretty good. Overall a good experience and highly recommended.
