Good and expensive”
Excellent location in the heart of the city and parking in an underground garage with direct elevator access from the lobby. Very clean, small room and bathroom, appeared new and fresh. I only stayed one night so cannot say anything about the facilities. Breakfast was very good with many buffet alternatives, even for a vegetarian. But the restaurant was a dark grotto- or saloon-type one (which seem to be common in Finland) and the gloomy setting somewhat reduced the tasty breakfast experience.

All the basics, good budget option”
We passed through Hämeenlinna overnight and stayed at Cumulus Hämeenlinna. It has all basic facilities that would be suitable for an overnight stay. Breakfast selection was quite good (check the serving times because it changes Mon-Fri, Sat, Sun). Note that there is a cooler in the room but no fridge. No coffee & tea making facilities. Beds were comfortable. Security was fine.

Excellent location”
The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of town, with easy access to the shops, the lake, the castle and other sights. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable but rooms on the street side (as opposed to car park side) tend to be noisy at night since the hotel is next to a pub/night club. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again. Take care with the entrance/exit to the car park - it is quite a tight bend. For an excellent Finnish meal try the Pipparkakutalo Restaurant (Gingerbread House) behind the church in the main square.

Kelpo hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hotellissa hieman ajan patinaa, petikään ei ollut paras mahdollinen mutta siisteys oli kunnossa ja aamupala oli maistuva, kaiken kaikkiaan ok visiitti.

Poikani jalkapalloseuran kanssa Aulanko Cupissa olleena voin suositella hotellia kyseiseen tarkoitukseen. Alakerrassa tarvittava määrä ravintoloita ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Perustason huoneet ovat ihan riittävät perustason matkailuun myös perustason liikemiehille. Romantiikkaa, eksotikkaa ja jännitystä kaipaavien kannattaa varmaan hakeutua johonkin toisaalle. Hyvä hotelli, hyvä sijainti, mukava henkilökunta.
