Over priced hotel”
Pool is very small. There is a roof top with bed in the villa but bed not clean yet. If you ask for anything they will tell you sorry very nicely with smile. There a beach just 5 min walking distance from the hotel but water not clean enough for swimming and too much sand comes with wave in the shore. You've to buy food from the hotel as there is no other option in the surroundings. Hotel menu is very limited with high price and 21% service charge.

Good morning Shameem, I am sorry you found the swimming pool too small, it is 12m x 3,5m. We are sorry if you did not fully enjoy your stay in our place. We have a new organization now, and we are working hard to improve ourselves. Our new team is now working with a chief, so we improve our menu every day. Now taxes and service charge are included in our prices. It starts from 25k to 60k for main dishes. Kedungu is a small peaceful and untouched touristic village, there is some restaurants in the village between 5-10min driving. The beach is known for surfing. This is a volcano thin sand on Kedungu Beach, that's why when waves are coming in the shore, it moves a lot of sand. D'Sawah Villa Team

Good stay”
I've stayed last week for just one night with wife & my young son. The facilities is ok but they might need to look at the rooftop gazebo, its not very clean. The TV also not working but the wifi is ok. The location is bit remote but very near to the beach.

Quiet stay away from the crowds. Difficult to get to. ”
We rented a motor bike, otherwise it would be a long/expensive trip around. There are almost no stores/restaurants within walking distance.

Near Tanah lot and local surfing beach”
Rooms are ok, just having some problems with AC – maybe its just all the gaps (doors etc) where the cooled air is getting away. Bed is ok and big enough. Breakfast simple but good, but for food in bar very limited (also many items from simple menu are not available). The nearby walking distance beach is beautiful (hot dark sand), - some part of the day suitable for swimming and playing with the waives, but be careful – the ocean is strong in here and some parts are rocky. Hotel is quiet and swimming pool small. Nice rice fields around and beautiful view from upper deck of the villas. Could be a bit better design in terms of keeping privacy, but as it not crowded it is not a big concern. Very cool looking stone pebble under the shower at the end of the day is not comfortable to stand on. Nice and helpful staff.

Good if you are happy to eat out...”
On the positive side: Nice room Very close to the lovely beach, with warm, communicative warung vendors...a great place for beer, coconut, BBQ sweetcorn and gado gado. Walking and cycling distance to Tanah Lot... a lovely journey through rice paddies and watermelon fields. The pavilion upstairs is lovely...great view of the ocean and rice paddies! Fantastic taxi driver... a great guy with a story to tell. On the not so positive side: Room not cleaned every day, and water not delivered every day. The usual vibrant, warm balinese hospitality is missing. You need to have breakfast and dinner out if you want value and a good vibe. A wall has been built on one side of the apartments (we imagine to protect the glass wallf from the fierce winds from the ocean), so thew view now is limited to one side from the bedroom. The photographs are outdated!

Lovely day and feeling comfort during my stay here”
The best thing is the location is not far from Tanah Lot...The villa is located between the rice field and the beach....The food was very good especially for the traveler who love baliness food!
During my stay was lovely...I felt very comfort, and really love the atmosfere arround me...The staff were also very friendly...The food was very good! Especially if the traveler really looking forward Baliness traditional food, such as Bebek Bali Betutu. Also this villa nearby Tanah Lot and there is also a beach nearby where we can walk there for only around 5 minutes.

Good for money”
Staff, Cleanliness, beach nearby
The hotel is located in a calm village, and it wasn't easy to go there even though we went by local taxi. The hotel is located near the beach (5 min walk-able distance). The hotel is clean and swimming pool is good too. It is surrounded by rice fields, so we felt so fresh all day. Both the sides, the wall are made by glass, that makes us feel different from staying in other hotels. They have limitations with the break fast, it wasn't buffet, but we can order (1 item only per person). That was annoying a bit, but other facilities make us feel this hotel is good for the money we pay (~40 USD per night). There are no other shops/restaurants nearby, so you got to depend on taxi only always.

We were stayed at D'Sawah Villa only one night. It's our last night in Bali. We wish we could stay there longer. If you could prepare hair dryer, that will be perfect.

calm, cozy, close to nature ”
comfortable, close to nature, luxury
the hotel is situated off the beaten path and its a bit of a hassle to get here. once arrived, we felt it was totally worth it though. the hotel in midst of rice paddies and from the roof top of our villa we could see the ocean (5 mins walk). The downside to the location is that there is nothing around (besides 2-3 warungs). Also, the staff could have been more helpful with directions. The walking directions to near by tanah lot temple they gave us were not accurate and we ended up lost (on a beautiful beach). But the villa-house itself is remarkably beautiful and the bed super comfy so it was worth the detour.

Great landscape but not very clean”
Landscape, concept of the room
The hotel and its location is surprising. You are in a middle of a rice field. The location is peaceful and beautiful. However, for a 3-star hotel a lot of details were missing. When we arrived the sheets were dirty. Behind the toilets, they were a lot of dead insects. The shower was not working correctly. And there were constantly a lot of ants in the room. As for the breakfast, the choice was very limited.

Modern and glamorous style, peaceful, romantic
Our time there was lovely. Although most of the staff members cannot properly communicate in English, they really do their best to make you happy. However, the lack on toiletries and some other things in an isolated hotel can be quiet annoying. Will be back

Stay in paradise”
Peace, beautiful nature, nice place for stay
A bit high priced and still you have to pay extra cost for your breakfast... near 2 million rupia for night and extra charge for bacon :D Restaurant a bit slow but food is good. Lot of bugs cause middle of jungle. Peacefull place to stay. Roads on this island are in terrible condition but you're on vacation so take your time scootering around! No TV channels so better enjoy other activities on evenings... :)

Nice for just a one or 2 night stay”
The rooftop daybed, lovely views of rice paddies and ocean, short walk to beach and local cheap warungs.
Although we enjoyed our 2 night stay here soaking up the magnificent scenery, we found there were heaps of staff for such a small place and for so many staff, most of them were disinterested, sleeping, texting etc. They were out of many of the items on their small menu. It was low season and very few other guests at the hotel. We wondered if the boss was away, as many previous reviews said the staff were good. It was not possible to book a massage for some weird reason that wasn't made clear to us even though we spoke to a staff member who said she was one of the massage therapists. At no time did any of the staff ask us if we wanted a tour anywhere, so we just went for walks.
