I have stayed in most of the hotels on this soi. For the price you can get better. The rooms are old and basically designed. I was in room c5 on the top floor. TV was old and small. The bed was old but comfortable. The bathroom was not so good for the price. Nice location. The experience was OK but I would probably stay at the CheqInn opposite or Di Bed.
Only stayed for one night and it was bad ”
I haven't got much to say about this place. It's down soi 4. If you don't know bangkok that's where all the girls hang out and where there are many go go bars. Then the girlfriend walked in and asked to check in. We were then redirected next door for thirty minutes of total confusion after which we ended up realising the place was called 'check in'. Anyway back to the correct hotel where the idiot behind the desk apologising. First thing I noticed was the offer of short time rooms outside on a blackboard. Then we were told our room had no windows. NO WINDOWS! Then the receptionist woke us up yabbering at 6am and no joke didn't stop talking till 9 when we were relieved to get out.
One nighter for New Years”
My stay was adequate. I was only looking for a place for all the S's (sleep, shower, shave, ....etc) for New Years and it was fine for that. You want anything more, look elsewhere. Nice location on a small Soi of Suk, Soi 4 with easy access to two BTS stations. Room was small, NO LIFT and my room was on the 4th floor, toilet needed adjusted to flush, TV reception wasn't good but had several English language stations, had fridge with 2 free bottles of water. Near everything you'd want from that area of Bangkok. Internet access first needs to have WPA security code entered and then upon opening webpage you need to have login and password. This wasn't explained but the codes were on a paper they give you, if you can figure it out.
Very good location, close to entertainment areas and BRT. Room rate is a little high for the type of room. The same type room, and cleaner can be had for 600bt nearby. The WiFi has the most unnecessarily complicated sign on process of all time! A process you have to do repeatedly!
Average budget room”
My stay at Da Bed was comfortable. The room was not as clean as other rooms it this price range and the room rate was higher than the walkup room rate of nearby hotels (without using Agoda) of the same quality. It OK to stay here if the lower priced rooms nearby are full.
Budget hotel near nana plaza”
The room is very small and not clean. Good location and easy to travel from this hotel. can find nana plaza and restaurant. This hotel very close with entertainment area. You can find so many restaurant and bar in this area. This hotel have internet, but the server is vey slow. Staff in this hotel really friendly.
end of soi”
This hotel located soi of soi nana, sukhumvit. You can reach the hotel 5 min walk from NANA station. And located end of soi, very quiet around hotel even in the night. The only con is they do not have elevator.
Good location but expect no thrills”
Went for the luxury room (still affordable!) wasn't expecting much but it was clean and the bed comfy. Thin door so if there would have been more people there it could have been an issue. Bathroom very sparse with just the bare necessities. The biggest set back was that there was no elevator and it being a room on the fifth floor and having quite a bit of luggage you can imagine the rest... narrow and steep set of stairs as well. Concidering the location it was suprisingly silent and calm.
Da Bed Hotel”
Great little hotel, friendly staff, had a quiet room which was adequate and clean, close to nana plaza for a few drinks at night, would recommend.
Still going downhill”
I have stayed at this property many, many times, well before they changed the name to Da Bed - possibly changing owners then as well. With new name came many improvements, but that is YEARS ago, and property has been deteriorating since, and this last time the window was broken in that it could not be completely closed without 15 minutes of work. The sink water was disconnected, so the only way to wash hands was to use the shower. And the guests may have changed, as it is now much noisier than it used to be.
The worst hotel ever don't waste your money”
The worst hotel ever don't waste your money on this horrible hotel The rooms were hot and stuffy. The baths towel ware dirty and I am pretty sure that the blanket is as old as the building. Don't go there; it is just a nightmare, It was filthy nothing like the pictures, which I think was taken over 30years ago ....so I decided to move out at midnight to others hotel and was also refused any refund. (Booked for two nights)
Decent hotel for good price”
It was hard to find the hotel from Nana BTS station. I had to walk for 30 mins with my luggage but the hotel was decent. The room size was small. It is good if someone just wants to stay in Sukumvit Soi 4 and avoid travelling.
first time here”
1. owner asked me and friend more than 3 times in 30 min about room no. 2. knock other room early morning around 4.00 am for what da reason.... and each room too close its made we confused and knocked again 7.00 am and many time ...very noisy and disturb customer 3. no have sink or basin insite toilet , sink outside is broke (valve problem) not fix not change 4 bed is comfort for sleep 5 TV not clear
One night in Bangkok”
Not as good as usual. The sink tap did not work, neither did the TV in room 301. I didn't get there till late, and was going early-ish in the morning, so did not complain, although I should have done.
Very convenient and night life. Hotel is very cheap and reasonable. The location of the hotel is very near to Nana BTS Station. Night life is nearby the hotel and surrounding the hote that we stayed. But there will be difficult in looking for cheap and nice food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Budget hotel in good location.”
A simple bed and bathroom with hot water, not much more you can ask for if you are on a budget and paying budget hotel prices. The staff spoke very little English but was helpful. We were only there for a few hours so it was not long enough to fully to take in the full experience.
A bit disappointing...”
I guess I expected more based on the pictures, which indicated sleek, modern designed rooms. Although I did like the design of the rooms, other issues brought down the room. First of all, the bathrooms did not have a separate enclosure, which means after a shower the whole room gets wet. I've stayed in other rooms with these wet-type bathrooms, but at about 1000 baht(agoda rate) a night I expected more. Also, they did not seem very clean (mildew stains, etc...)Next, the room lacked a basic desk or table to eat, read, or use a laptop. I had to pull out the mini fridge to eat my noodles. A third gripe I had was with the fridge. Like many hotels in Thailand, the keycard must be inserted for power, which I think is actually an awesome green idea. However, removing the card also cuts power to the fridge, which meant my bottled water was never cold. Finally, I saw a sign outside indicating that the rooms could be rented as short-time rooms, which just made the experience seem that much ickier. Service was OK but overall, I wouldn't stay again unless in a pinch.
in ideal location, easy access Bts, hotel private ”
I enjoyed staying at this hotel because it was cheap, clean and all basic needs were available.I was close to live entertainment and access to BKK central was easy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. There was no food on the premises however you could buy from outside and eat in. The reception was open 24/7 for any queries I had. There was wifi available but was not always easy to access the internet very slow and crashed alot I would recommend an update to the system. Overall a pleasant stay for me and I would be more than happy to book again. However the prices shown were not the same as agodas dissapointing in that respect
basic but ok”
room was small but ok. It is very basic with a bed and bathroom. It did have free internet that was pretty decent in the room and cable t.v. If you are on a lower floor it is not so bad but if you are on the 3rd or 4th floor going up and down can become a pain. The rooms are air conditioned but they shut off once you remove your key to leave the room. The hotel it's self is a little hard to find if you have not been in the area before and even then you have to look sharp. There is little noise from the outside of the hotel to bother you but the but you can hear what is going on in the other rooms rather clearly. overall it is not bad if you need fast and very simple housing for a day or two but I would not recommend for a long stay.
Small well located hotel”
This hotel is at the bottom of a very small side street off the main sukumvit road which makes it very well located. The rooms are small but have everything you need in them including a fridge. I wouldnt recomend this hotel for anyone who has problems with stairs however if ur looking for a budget hotel thats near shopping, nightlife and restaurants then this would be good place for you.
