Prepare insect repeller”
The room is spacious and the view from the hotel room is awesome. The check in and check out timing are flexible and the staff is very helpful. The drawbacks are the cleanliness of the room and the location of the hotel. I was bitten by unknown bugs and both my hands and legs were swollen for a few days. The bedsheets are kind of dirty as you can clearly see the dead bodies of bugs. Location is not very ideal as it takes you 10-15 minutes to walk to the center of Sapa city.
Breathtaking views from bedroom”
Staff very helpful in booking tours and return to Hanoi. View from bedroom overvalley and to mount Fansipan was a delight. Breakfast adequate. A bit out of the way but only 400 meter walk up hill to more active area. No problem for fit persons. Quiet. Bit cold in room but all the more reason to turn on bed heater and get in and enjoy the view.
Wet n Freezing but enjoyable Sapa holidays”
Nice cosy hotel with great views of the Mountain scenaries but 20 mins.walk to town centre. Taxis are readily available. Good selections of noodles, pancakes and Sandwiches.for breakfast. Excellent.customer services by hotel keepers. Awesome hotpot of beef n other selection. Superior tomato n pineapple soup base. Must try. Come FEB - March to enjoy plum trees blooming around the hotel. CatCAT Village and Fansipan are.nearby and easily.reach by.Taxi. Highly recommended. Wary of the tanked hot water bath supply which can last for.a good bath. View the size of the hot water tank in the toilet. No worry enough to have a good warm bath. Highly recommended away from Sapa city hotel constructions manaic.
Wonderful spot overlooking the mountains at the edge of town”
First, the location is great. It's a 10 minute walk from the centre of town, but that means things are quiet and more relaxed. Second, the rooms are big and bright and have wonderful views across catcat village to the mountains. Third, the staff, particularly Elena, are wonderful. I sprained my ankle hiking, and Elena gave me her own gel packs to relieve pain, and had ice brought to my room. When my ankle was still bad the second day, she came with me to the local hospital to translate and help me in any way. Thank you so much to the staff there, and in particular to Elena. I'll be back to stay more one day soon!
Amazing View, Clean, Peaceful location”
You will not regret it! This is the best place, with an amazing view of the landscape right from your bed. Room is clean, beds were clean, nice and warm with electric blankets already warmed up before we arrived. Bit of a walk from the town core but totally doable unless you are not the walking type. Staff were friendly. Western and Vietnamese breakfast were both delicious and hearty before our trekking.
Lovely hotel and serene location”
Love the quietness and accessibility of the hotel which was within minutes from the busy Sapa town. Room was super spacious with 2 comfy queen size beds. Breakfast were yummy and generous in portion. Staffs were friendly and helpful in every way. *Most memorable was the starry skies where you could view from the balcony. Thank you for the awesome stay.
Very good hotel”
The view of the hotel is very amazing, directly full view to Cat Cat Village and Fanxipang. The owners are very friendly and are willing to help you everything. The food at the restaurant is good too, but the choices of breakfast menu is just a little. Anyway, I surely stay here if I come back to Sapa next time.
One of the best!”
I really could not fault this place. I know people have different expectations regarding hotels but as far as value goes what a remarkable little hotel. You get a terrific breakfast, big, big room with a full glass wall to take in a quite stunning view. The young couple running the hotel have already mastered the skill of understated service and anticipated every one of our needs as far as enjoying a two night visit to the area. If only all hotels had such great managers!
Good location with good view to Catcat village”
The hotel is around 15 minutes walk from the market and next to Catcat village. Great view of mountain and paddy terrace. Clean accommodation, friendly and helpful staffs. Breakfast is basic but taste good.
friendly and nice hotel”
I don't have any complaint about hotel. staff are very nice, room conditions are good with many services. Quiet and areas to chill out watching the mountain- Cat Cat village. Wifi is fast. It's value of money. I really enjoyed staying here <3
A great stay”
The owner is very nice, friendly and helpful. She allowed us check in early without any additional charges. We booked a garden-view room for four people but got to stay in a mountain-view one since it was not a busy time in the town and rooms were available. The homestay is close to Cat Cat Village, about 10 mins walking down the hill. It has the view over Cat Cat village and mountain ranges, which is very beautiful. It's about 15-min walk from the hostel to the town center. Some might find it a little bit far but for me, it's not a long walk. The homestay is in a less busy part of the town, suitable for those looking for a relaxing place to stay.
GREAT ROOM VIEW!”
The location is on the outskirts of the city, which is great if since the place is more peaceful and has a great view of the Fansipan mountain range. Its around 10 minute walk down/up-hill but you can grab a taxi and the charge is around 20,00.00 to 25,000.00 VND to get to/from the town center. Breakfast selection is great and the owner (Elena) takes good care of their guest. I'll come back to this place if ever I visit Sapa again.
Very good stay”
Very good location away from the Sa pa town itself but not too far cheap taxi ride there or a short 15 min walk. The hosts are very knowledgeable and organised all our needs. The views are amazing and the dubble breakfast is very welcome.
Very much enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, warm when it was chilly, and best of all were the views through the large windows I could enjoy right from the bed. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was hearty. Be advised it about 3/4 mile from town center, and a steep climb the whole way. This however gives added quiet and respite.
This was a lovely hotel which you can meet a nice staff and cozy accommodations. They helped us to do lots of thing when we were there. Even I already checked out from their hotel, they gave us to have a shower when we finished trekking fansipan. Even more, she booked bus hotel for us and also a taxi to go anywhere. So I would stay here again if I have a chance.
We enjoyed our stay at Cat Cat Garden”
Helena was very helpful and friendly. It is located between Sapa town and Catcat village, which made it a peaceful place to stay with a stunning view. Unfortunately, we stayed over New Years and the electricity was cut off intermittently throughout our stay. This was not the fault of the staff, but it did make taking hot showers and finding our way home at night in the dark quite difficult.
I highly recommend staying at CatCat Garden hotel. The family who runs the hotel are so kind and accommodating. We had two meals in their hotel and they were the best we've had since being in Vietnam. The room has incredible views and is so close to CatCat village, within walking distance. It's not far from Sapa town too. Great location to be away from the hustle and bustle and all the construction work going on in Sapa.
Perfect place to stay ”
We have been staying there for 2 day 1 night. Now, in Sapa town is very dusty due to lot of constructions, Luckily we chose Cat Cat Garden where is far from town only 5 mins by taxi and we can enjoy Fansipan mountain scene from our hotel room. The room is clean. Heater is provided. All staffs are great especially the owner and his wife. They have service mind and also willing to provide useful information. All is perfect here. It was very worth for money. I definitely recommend
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The view is fantastic. I loved waking up every morning seeing beautiful landscape of Phanxipan, rice field and Cat Cat village right in front of my eyes. Rooms are well kept, clean, with wide windows. Staffs are really helpful young people, genuinely helping us with everything and ensure our stay again is comfortable. I would stay here again if I come back to Sapa.
Very comfortable, affordable B & B feel to this 6 room hotel. The owners are wonderful and helpful with arranging tours. We toured Cat Cat village on our own which is a few minutes walk down the hill and had an arranged day trek to Ta Phin (10 km hike) village the next day. This is a quiet location at night that is a short 10 minute hike to Sapa town (be aware it is a steep uphill to town) or a $2 taxi ride. Bring your flashlight or headlamp if you plan to walk to town at night. The breakfast is wonderful; I had a ham and cheese omelette, banana chocolate crepe, orange juice and a Vietnamese coffee each morning.
